I watch because it's like visiting. Mr Bentley's bark brought my Ryder running to make sure I haven't smuggled a new dog in. He's now sitting beside me watching and listening. He's a but miffed because I washed his toys. He prefers them unwashed. Jealous of your flowers. We have had so much rain I haven't got annuals in. My beds have been mud holes. Hopefully I'll get the jungle on my porch in the ground this weekend. I like dark colors in rooms. Bedroom is a dark dark green that appears black in pictures. It cozy and calming. Lol. My diet isn't going well either. I have a secret box of chocolate cover jelly sticks in one of my craft cabinets. No one ever looks in them. Thank you for sharing a bit of your life.

The room is lovely Mike and Ian; it's a little too dark for my personal taste, but the colors are absolutely lovely. I like the blue-gray and it does make the room feel a little cozier than the stark white/cream that it was before. The room looks cozy and wonderful... nice renovation. Hi Mike n Ian I've always been afraid of using darker colours but LUV the lounge, I also like white gloss paint. My braveness came in the form of some retro wallpaper in aqua lime and silver on one wall!!! Your hard work in the garden has certainly paid off, it's wonderful, and love the tinkle of the water feature. Mum and Dad look well and happy, congrats to them. Found your channel 7 years ago. I had just started adult coloring books and mixed media. I have been noticing a decline in the views of all the coloring channels. Not just this spring but this past winter. I always give a thumbs up on all the videos I watch. I love my mini visit to England.

I love dropping in on you every week. It IS like dropping in on friends. I am so glad to know that you like that too. And because I grew up in the UK I do like seeing glimpses of England. I don't envy you the climate, although this year (since October) it has been like that here, mostly either raining or overcast, with very few actual sunny days. I have noticed that it is cheaper here in Australia to buy from the UK and USA atm (even with postage added) whereas it is usually cheaper to buy locally even if the goods originate in the US or UK. I ordered your mini stamp thingies because they look to be a better, more ergonomic design than anything I can get locally and, guess what, they were cheaper too. Love to Ian, Mr, Bentley and to yourself. 💚

A little vanilla extract added to your paint when you mix it up will help with any odor. I had to go back and rewatch the end to verify that you didn't show us the lounge in the evening. Maybe next week's vlog? I also accomplished a couple of things this week that I'd been procrastinating about since the pandemic began. Must be in the air.
Lounge looks good. I am like Ian and I love straight lines in painting as I am getting older it is harder to do. I love the smell of fresh paint and feel disappointed with no odour stuff (strange I know) I love your vlogs and look forward to hearing your news. XXX

Life's worth living if you have salted caramel cookies in your fridge! I think the lounge looks pretty good. Our house is predominantly white walled as we thought we were going to rent it so kept it clinical and neutral!! Any future plans for painting? Lovely shot of your mum and dad. Indeed... prices have absolutely sky-rocketed. I find it amazing how when times are at their worst, and people are deeply struggling and hurting - some wondering where their next meal is going to come from - that is when prices double and elevate beyond belief. Personally, I think it's very very sad, and makes my heart hurt a lot.
Mike, you are more than welcome. I love the deep blue you chose for your lounge. As you said, it really does make your artwork pop. Loved the close-up of Mr. Bentley. Tell Ian that I emphasize with his OCD=ism regarding straight lines. Luckily, for me, the painting tape just keeps getting better and better. Years back, paint invariably would bleed under the tape and I'd spend hours fixing the lines. How on earth do you get so many flowers on your columbine? I don't even attempt to grow them in SC's blistering heat; but when I lived in our PAC NW, i could grow all of the plants in a typical (and gorgeous) English garden, but nothing as luxurious as those in your garden. Had my doubts when you began painting "bluey gray," but the lounge turned out so nice! And yes, the edges do showcase Ian's perfectionistic precision. One reason I think I watch your vlog is that it reminds me of Ozzie and Harriet back in the fifties that I loved as a kid. Love this modern 2 Ozzie version even more. : )

The room looks fantastic! Belated Anniversary wishes for your parents. I missed last week's vlog. I was struck by an extremely heavy cold, which has still made me really lethargic & to top it off my Dad was taken ill & admitted into hospital on 10th ( he is still in, possibly until Tuesday) & in view of my cold, they don't want me visiting! Diet? What's one of those?? 😂

The medication didn't agree with him & he bled internally. He finally got the all clear from the hospital 8 weeks ago & his GP put him on similar drugs. 5 weeks down the line & he can't breathe!! Luckily I got him there before any bleeding could start in his stomach. 🙄

What a lovely homey feeling in the lounge. My daughter bought her first home and we have been painting and she had her hardwood floors redone.

The trick is to make sure the base/roots of the plant are always in shade. Plenty of ground cover and you’ll get plenty of flowers!
