I always clean up the kitchen after dinner and get coffee measured out so in the morning I just have to turn it on for quick coffee.
For years when my kids were young I would go to bed with a dirty kitchen. Then I realized what a bad mood it put me in when I got up. From then on, I never went to bed without cleaning up the kitchen & just picking up the house. Even though there is only my hubby & I now, it just feels good to walk out in the morning and things are in order. Great advice Karrie. ❤😊❤🙏

I think everyone's windows are how you describe yours, you can't see in ours unless you are up close during the day and on a night if you have lights on in the house you can see in but looking out you can't see anything.
I thought all windows did that, it’s how they’ve been in every house my whole life lol. I figured it depended on where the light was coming from.

Yes pretty sure you can see inside a home at night because it is dark outside and light inside, and you can see outside during the day because there is more light from outside than inside. :)
When my kids were little, I cleaned the kitchen and made sure everything was picked up. It does , like you say, put you in a better mood when you wake up. I try to stick with that habit now as well. You never know what will come up in the morning, so I try to keep everything organized as possible, to be ready for the day. Oh, by the way, I love it when you “ramble” and then call yourself out on it. It’s hilarious! You are so real with us and I love it! 😂❤

I always clean up before I go to bed. I have to or I cant function. I always get our outfits ready for the next day and lunches are also made the night before. This leaves just making breakfast and getting ready for work/school the next morning. I have done this my whole life. I hate to rush in the morning or wake up to a mess.

With the windows, it is because where it is lighter inside, the light reflects and you can see from the outside. But, when it is daytime and lighter outside, the outside light reflects on the window. I don’t really know how to explain it, but I hope you get the gist

Hey Karrie thank you for the cleaning motivation. I have made it a habit to clean my kitchen nightly before going to bed. I mop twice a week to keep the floors clean. But I do a nightly cleaning routine and it's helped so much.
Best thing about mornings is having coffee waiting. So, my husband always fixes the coffee and sets the timer so it’s waiting on me when I get up! Otherwise waiting on coffee, well, it ruins your whole day 😅 like waking up late or something. 😌. I hope y’all are buckled down for the hurricane. Praying it passes as a TS without destruction!
I make sure everything is put away, cleaned! I put limo tint on all the windows myself it really helped with the electric bill but it made the house very dark during the day 😂😂 so after 15 years I just took off the limo tint and put ceramic tint you can see in at night 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️

Sending prayers your way I hope the storm slowly dissipates. I live on the East coast 15 minutes to the Atlantic Ocean this season is always sketchy. My home stays clean only because I’m retired and 72, however, when my grandchildren come over it looks like a tornado hit😂😂😂. I love your channel the last one when you rearranged the rooms made me smile 😊
I think it would be helpful for you that kids pick up all their scattered things each evening before bath time..no excuse for that much scattered things..really will help you..and I think your anxiety..
I agree so much with nightime cleaning. I don't do a heavy cleaning just make sure kitchen is clean. Hate to wake up to a messes in the kitchen. Dishes away, clean surfaces, is the most important to me.
I am definitely one of those people who can’t relax or go to sleep unless if my kitchen is clean and tidy. I’m a working mom to two kids and what I do at night as soon as we get home from school is empty and clean their lunch bags and washed and put new water in their water bottles and put them in the fridge. I cook and clean as I go and put everything away and tidy up the living room. Things that don’t belong there are put away, my kids help me put our home to sleep. We get our clothes ready the night before and I put a laundry in. When I wake up the next morning, I wake up to a clean kitchen and living room which feels so amazing and I feel accomplished. I also get up extra early so I’ll have time to wash and clean the kitchen before we leave the house bc I love coming home to a clean house. And I put the laundry in the dryer and fold that when I get home from work while cooking dinner and the the night time routine follows like I mentioned above.
I’m a homesteader and I grow food, mill grain, make all our baked goods, can and preserve food and make everything from scratch. I need a clean kitchen when I wake up or it throws off my day ( and my mood ) cleaning the kitchen at night is a non negotiable for me.
Great video. Usually before bed I make sure the dishwasher is empty and I tidy round everywhere. But right now I'm dealing with the dishwasher but my house is cluttered right now as one of my sons is moving out into his girlfriends parents house, so he's packing like crazy and has loads of things, his girlfriend lived here for a while too so they have lots to pack. Her parents are in the process of moving to a bigger house too but the estate agent they have is apparently working slow. So my son and his girlfriend have stuff packed in the bedroom and my living room, I hate clutter but it can't be helped at the minute. I do comment about the clutter but my son just makes me feel bad by saying I'm just wanting them out quick. It's not them it's the clutter I want gone. Gggrrr lol xx

Are used to clean houses professionally and one of them was for a woman with long dark hair. Before I cleaned her shower or her bathroom or anything I used a mini vac to pick up all the hair you could do that as well. Just have a minivac somewhere, pick it up and then wipe it down.
On the weekends, I get the kids school clothes ready for the next school week. My daughter is 8, so her responsibility is to make her snack for the next day when she comes home from school.
I try to always clean up after dinner. It’s just my husband and me but I can’t stand to see a messy kitchen for two retirees. Yet, it does happen.
With those windows, I think people can see inside because whatever side of the window has the most light will be the reflective side.

The storm is a Cat 1 - barely a windy day where I live. And watching someone clean...is of no interest to me. Now if you want to come clean my house...that's a different story......

This year I’m a sahm and have all three kids virtual my oldest has been for a year and half two are for medical reasons and the third for personal lol. So our morning routine is breakfast then logging into school. When we finish school I try to tidy up a bit then we can focus on playing or relaxing or they can play while I get stuff done.
I usually straighten up after dinner. I also get the coffee set up for the morning... it's on a timer. Makes my morning easier. Basically I just make sure everything is clean before going to bed.
I like having my home all straightened up at night so i can have a slower start to my morning have an amazing week sweet friend ❤😊 🪷😘
Always always always have my coffee pot ready to just turn on in the morning. It does have an auto setting also and I use that during the week.
I set the coffee pot and scrub my sink with fresh smelling cleaner. We wake up to clean smells and fresh coffee.

I loved when I got up in the morning and the kitchen was somewhat clean and the sink free of dirty dishes. It didn’t happen often enough but it was so nice when I made the effort the night before.

Hey please don't let any air conditioner co. tell you that you need a 2 ton air for your house your house needs about a 3 -1/2 to a 4 ton living in Florida seems like a lot but the air doesn't have to work so hard I live in Florida and I have what's considered a tiny house 14X52 and I have a 3 ton on my place just wanted to tell you seen your last video.☺☺
So it's based off square footage and age of home. I have a 1200sqft home but although my home is old it's well insulted so we really do only need a 3ton unit 😊
This happens naturally to everybody’s windows if it’s sunny outside you cannot see in there is no film on the window it’s just nature that is making that happen
But not bwing able to see outside at all at night is weird to me . That didn't happen when I lived in my mobile home lol

Look at all the Cutie's ..someone was watching at the Beginning for a treatI needed that Motivation ..been struggling with this heat and thyroid issues acting up seems to me the windows were reversed putting in ..I'm literally a Night-owl and enjoy the peace and quiet to clean up ..I usually lay out my own clothes for the morning so I do not have to debate on what I want to wear and have my coffee machine set up so I just push the button..😊
