I'm one of your demanding clients. I literally just had a 15min consultation where the guy said about the same thing: "I can't tell you until I start cutting your hair." Which didn't leave me feeling supported, it left me feeling rushed and almost bullied into booking a haircut to find out what some of his techniques are...which is why I'm out here looking at RUclips videos on how to thin thick hair. His next appointment showed up and was sitting on my jacket 3' from the stylist chair. I was scheduled for 15min, I expected 15min, not 8. I have thick, thick curly hair that basically does whatever I ask, but I'm tired of hair dressers going scissor happy and after 2 appointments look shaggy because they can't contain themselves with thinning it. I need to be heard and trust the stylist before I let them cut into my hair.
With First time Clients you should always schedule extra time it's almost certain they are going to have lots of questions. After a relationship is slowly built with these clients they will eventually trust you to do what is necessary or even something new ;) #TEAMREDKEN

I just assume most of them are medicated.
It may help to speak a little S-l-o-w-e-r with this type of client.
That may not work so well if you're booked solid and don't want to get backed up. I would just schedule these "demanding" clients on less busy days.
