Hi Kam. I just wanted to share how grateful I am for both you and the content that you put out. I was recently diagnosed with Hodgkins and I have really been struggling. I have just finished my first semester of college and it just doesn’t feel real. You are the only person that I have found that makes me feel almost normal. While this isn’t the outcome that you deserve, I just wanted to remind you of the positive impact that you have on other young people. Thank you for making me feel like I can beat this. Thank you for being vulnerable.

Sending you big hugs and lots of love. I am glad that your Dad is there with you. I was able to go to my daughter’s chemo infusions and she just finished on Friday. She would do a week of chemo, followed by a week of work, repeated 4 times…she loves going to work but I think she is a bit exhausted from all of it…she is 26 and by far the youngest at her infusion center.. her nurses were AMAZING!! I want to tell you this isn’t fair and I am sorry. I will send you lots of good vibes, Kam!

My husband had Non-Hodgkin B-cell Lymphoma back in 2019-20 and he did the R-CHOP therapy -- it was brutal on him, but he was very very sick by the time his cancer was diagnosed and he started treatment, so that was a factor. But it WORKED. // You've got this, and you're going to be great!

    Hi Kam,
I live in South Africa. The sun is always shining here and there is always the risk of developing skin cancer if you have a light skin. I developed a growth on the lower eye lid of my right eye. I do not know if it is cancer or just a benign growth but I went on a high nutrition diet for about two months and the growth have shrunk noticeably.
I would like to share the diet with you.
    The soup
Ingredients: - two handfuls of Chopped broccoli, one chopped onion (purple), two bags of green tea, two pinches of mixed herbs, two sticks of cut celery, Two handfuls of frozen and crushed spinach or kale, half a table spoon of crushed garlic, Three shakes of black pepper, seven shakes of turmeric, two tablespoons full of apple cider vinegar (with the mother), one bag of white onion powder soup for flavour, a hand full of cooked red speckled beans and a handful of cooked mince meat.
Just add all the ingredients in a pot, add boiling water and switch the stove on high till the water boils. Then lower the heat until the water simmer, Let the soup simmer for an hour. The soup is now ready.
I would only drink water in the morning. At 12h00 I would start eating the soup. There will be about two helpings that you can eat in the 12h00 to 18h00 time frame. I also ate a fruit salad every day in the 12h00 to 18h00 time frame.
(Note: Apparently turmeric reduces the effect of some chemotherapy drugs and thus should not be taken during chemotherapy.)
During the rest of the week I would also eat food that contains vitamin D like avocado’s, mushrooms, liver and eggs in the 12h00 to 18h00 time frame.
It seems to be working for me, maybe it will also work for you.
I pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ that you will be healed. Amen.
    Best regards
    Chris
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”. John 3:16 (King James Version Bible)
Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son Of God the Father.

I think I told you this the last time around but my mom was one of the first people to get brentuximab after it was approved by the FDA. It worked well for her and she’s 7 yrs cancer free now! She actually had to stop it early due to neuropathy and it still worked. We met the dr at Mayo Clinic who was behind discovering it and he’s wonderful. Truly in debt to him and his amazing brain. She also had a stem cell transplant (prior to the brentuximab). It’s a super intense process for sure but you’ve got this Kam! Here’s to hoping for as few side effects as possible during the immunotherapy!

Why is brentuximab part of your treatment plan? I thought that when a relapse happens they do not repeat the same chemotherapy that was used the first time. Sending you so much love and prayers💗

    • @CancerQuilter-wb1zk
      @CancerQuilter-wb1zk Год назад +2

I believe that's immunotherapy, which they will use more than once. I've had Rituximab three times so far in combination with various chemo. It's not so hard on the body as a lot of the chemo drugs, and to my understanding that's why they can't repeat some of the treatments. Immunotherapy has been a huge step in the treatment of the lymphomas. I wish it had been available 25 years ago in Canada when I first started treatment. This is from personal experience having been living with lymphoma for 25 years.

You look like you take good care of yourself, so you probably already know this but just incase you don't. Look into water fasting for a few days immediately before and after your chemo infusions. It greatly protects your normal body's cells and leaves the cancer cells more vulnerable to the chemo. There is even some proper research being done on this now, but it will be years before it is done. Wouldn't hurt to look into it :)

You said you were praying to Whatever that this treatment would work. God is real and He created you and He knows everything about you and He loves you. He wants you to know Him and you can know Him through God's Word the KJV Bible. His Word tells us that our sin has separated us from Him. Sin is serious because the wages of sin is death. But God wants to be reconciled with you. God the Father loved you so much that He sent His only begotten Son the Lord Jesus Christ who is God to bear your sins death penalty on the cross. All of your sin was placed on the Lord Jesus on the cross and He who knew no sin became sin for you. All of God's wrath and judgment for your sin was placed on Him. He shed His blood and died for you. On the third dayJesus Christ rose from the dead for your justification. If you repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ you will be forgiven and recieve the free gift of eternal life. The Lord Jesus LOVES you. The Lord is called The Great Physician. Nothing is too hard for Him. I am praying that He will heal your body completely of the cancer and praying for the salvation of your soul.

Kam, PLEASE wear an N95 in public and especially in the infusion center. The virus isn't just surging, it's the second largest wave of the pandemic. There have already been a few schools shut down temporarily due to infection rates. Some cities are considering bringing back mask mandates and there's discussion of cancelling non elective procedures.
