When it comes to the dinners discussing racism, shout out to the POC women for teaching them how to act right period! Racism is embedded in our society/economy/culture/everything!!, so good on the recovering racist ladies reaching out to the community, to be educated. But mega SHOUT OUT to the educaters doing this, because women, poor women, and Women of Color, especially face so many challenges, that are straight up ignored and/or mocked by upper/middle class white people. I see these educators entering these dinners as no different than a firefighter entering a burning building with active arsonists, because of the dangers systemic racism as placed upon people of color. I pray and respect the intentions and actions of everyone involved. And I pray that these dinners are safe places, and that the rich folk actually listen to these wonderful bad ass powerful ladies! And that we can put out as many fires as we can together!
