Great point that Jeannie made. I’ve struggled with drug use and my family pushed me to get help but I still ended up in the same positions until I decided MYSELF that I wanted a different life. Sometimes you have to fall hard in order to look at things in an objective perspective.

I can’t just act like it’s fine, so my only options are to keep trying to get them to get help and have them get angry at me and feel like I am pushing them, or just ignore them and have them mad at me for that. Do you have an opinion on which is better?
I agree with Adrienne. Unless it’s a choice that I feel I need to intervene because someone’s safety is in jeopardy, I’ll let them see the decisions they are making are not good ones.

Especially in the areas of dating and relationships and life in general. Especially if you think the ones giving you advice ain't doing better than you...True or correct?
Giving advice or solutions doesn't do much for a person until they feel like they're willing to change, and sometimes you don't have to try to fix it but just a good listener

My grandma lives with us but during the day she goes to a senior independence center, they pick them up, do activities, help them make and take them to their doctors appointment. It’s the best thing evvvvver.

Form friends have the same interests; bingo, board games. Family can have small parties. Loni, smart move for your mom. They meet new people.
Opposite with my husband, I give him his space in the bathroom but baby when I’m in there he wanna come in brush his teeth, talk, brush his hair, change his clothes my gosh
If I were ever in that situation I'd wait for them to ask me for my advice about the situation and then politely tell them to ask someone else because their situation is none of my business.
I won’t get involved with someone even a family member if I know they are involved with drugs. I can be invested with that. I don’t want the stress, it sounds harsh but unless you have someone in your life that’s struggling with drugs you will never know the stress of worrying about them
I’m like this with my sister she always picks the wrong guys and the one she is with fires off first thing in the morning and comes home late at night I’ve tried to tell her he isnt good for her but it just causes us to argue
