Loo-Loo land hits so much different after seeing this episode. Also, if you look closely as Blitzø’s mouth during the flashback he says these two things: 1. “Fizz!!” 2. “Mom…”
Yeah, and you can even see it on the storyboard for this scene that the artist who worked on it shared, its littérale written on the story board that Blitz is asking for help from the people running away from the fire, saying ‘fizz’ to alert the others that Fizz is in danger and needs help. But then you see him look the other way and answer say “mom”. That’s when he realise his mom is in danger and he runs away from fizz.
I think one of my favorite things about Blitzø's character is this episode is his maturity in handling the mending of his past relationship with Fizz, since the last meaningful thing that happened before the fireworks explosion was Blitzø's supposed love letter to Fizz. 😭 I want to know more about what was in that letter he was holding. Like the idea that there was a potential relationship between equals as imps as teenagers to Blitzø in the present accepting the fact that Fizz has moved on. It'll be interesting to see whether or not Blitzø heeds it as an example of what he could have with Stolas.
If it is a love letter, and it probably is, Blitzø's entire pathology makes so much sense. The last time he tried to confess feelings, people fucking died. Closeness is bad. He can't afford to love if it's going to get people killed. And if Stolas can get hurt... then he can't have feelings for him, either.
Blitz reconnecting with Fizz is such a HUGE deal - because they knew each other as children, Fizz is like UNIQUELY equipped to knock Blitz's walls down, having known him as a person before any of those walls were even BUILT. It's why he was able to get to the heart of the matter and get a genuine response out of Blitz so quickly. It's a huge first step in addressing the root of his trauma, which he NEEDS to start the healing process in order to foster any healthy relationships moving forward. I want to believe in the future this even will lead Blitz and Stolas to a happy and healthy place... I just think it's going to take a lot more time for us to get there. I think it's too easy for Blitz to see the crystal as a means to distance himself from him - a form of rejection. The transactional aspect of their hookups isn't right, but it's COMFORTABLE for Blitz that way too. No attachment needed, the rules are all made clear for him. By changing things, that's very scary for Blitz. I just don't think it's going to go well at first. But hopefully, eventually, they will be okay.

Without a doubt one of my favourite episodes of the show so far. It was nice to see someone finally forgive Blitz for his past mistakes. Finally Brandon Rogers really poured his heart and soul into this episode and the flashbacks just break my heart every time. 😢

My fear with the crystal is that Blitz isn't ready to see the gesture as intended, and that he'll perceive it as a rejection, as a sign that Stolas is tired of him and ready to leave him "like he was always going to" or some shit. Like...hopefully not? But that's my fear🙃🙃🙃
I've seen this idea posed on other reactions about Blitz's short text responses: Blitz may be barely literate, so he may not be understanding Stolas's walls of text and leaving him to short, poorly spelled responses. Also, I really do love Stolas sticking around to help Ozzie, while Blitz is able to reconcile with Fizz.
Finally noticed that the reason Blitzo didn’t try to save Fizz was that he literally didn’t see him. Fizz was only in the field of vision of Blitzo’s eye that had been injured. Also noticed that Blitzo had a birthday card for Fizz that Blitzo angrily tossed away when he stormed off.

Thank you SO MUCH for pointing out how what Cash said to Blitz in the Circus about royals follows him even as an adult, it helps understand this episode better, and it probably explains some of the stuff we see in the trailer. Gosh, it's impressive after watching numerous people react to the show, there are always people to point out new things I haven't heard of before! This show is so rich and complex
great video, I wanted to add that in truth seekers, when Blitz has a hallucination, Moxxie points out the fact that he is "not very good with words" so, perhaps, having a long and deep conversation through texts can generate insecurity and even a Shame on Blitz. Maybe it will clarify the behavior of sending short messages a little.
One thing that this show does insanely well is layering. There are so many clues and Easter eggs that it's easy to miss important things. Thank you for such great reactions.
There are a lot of things to say about that episode but my favorite part, by far, is Blitz and Fizz reactions around each other. Blitz is especially defensive and protective when it comes to Fizz, it's just adorable. And it speaks volume about how close they were back then if, after 15 years apart, and all the shit that went on at Loo loo Land and Ozzie's, that they still manage to work so well as a duo. Another thing I love is how Stolas was ready to help Ozzie just because he could. He didn't know Blitz was involve and we know, from Truth Seekers, that he wouldn't hesitate to destroy anyone that try to hurt Blitz x) And, by just being selfless, he manages to get what he wanted, a gift for Blitz to make their relationship more healthy. While Blitz got back his best friend, probably the person who can understand him the most.
Stolas is a pacifist, (I think the Ars Goetia book described him that way too, he is based on), he scared the shit out of the agents but didn't harm them.
The thing about crystals is that they can have different forms. Like Barbie Wire had one in the watch form, the imp guy had other shaped into plug probably cuz he got it illegally since remember that only Ozzy's demons are allowed to use them legally
My thought is that Blitzø's sister blames him for killing their mom, and that his father blames him for damaging their best performer. They're the "they" that kept Blitzø and Fizz from seeing each other after the accident in the beginning, and Blitzø and Fizz just kept it going because each thought the other hated them.

Someone might have pointed this out, but to touch on the...'Utility', of the Oz-crystals, I think that was just the case of that one particular incubus Blitz was shaking down in episode 5, as Barbie also had an Oz-crystal and she seemed to be wearing it on her wrist, if I recall correctly. I'm guessing where one keeps the crystal on their person is down to an individual choice.
After this episode and the next one it's extremely evident why Blitzø hates so much the Robo Fizz, they're sex dolls made with the image of his best friend and crush. Fizz was such a cutie, and Blitzø was protective of him getting rid of creeps, and hated the idea of him being exploited to gain fame....and when Blitzø disappears from his life that's exactly the path Fizz takes. Of course Blitzø would want to burn every robot he crosses paths with.

My fear with the crystal is that Blitz isn't ready to see the gesture as intended, and that he'll perceive it as a rejection, as a sign that Stolas is tired of him and ready to leave him "like he was always going to" or some shit. Like...hopefully not? But that's my fear🙃🙃🙃

I've seen this idea posed on other reactions about Blitz's short text responses: Blitz may be barely literate, so he may not be understanding Stolas's walls of text and leaving him to short, poorly spelled responses.
Also, I really do love Stolas sticking around to help Ozzie, while Blitz is able to reconcile with Fizz.

Finally noticed that the reason Blitzo didn’t try to save Fizz was that he literally didn’t see him. Fizz was only in the field of vision of Blitzo’s eye that had been injured.
Also noticed that Blitzo had a birthday card for Fizz that Blitzo angrily tossed away when he stormed off.

Thank you SO MUCH for pointing out how what Cash said to Blitz in the Circus about royals follows him even as an adult, it helps understand this episode better, and it probably explains some of the stuff we see in the trailer. Gosh, it's impressive after watching numerous people react to the show, there are always people to point out new things I haven't heard of before! This show is so rich and complex
great video, I wanted to add that in truth seekers, when Blitz has a hallucination, Moxxie points out the fact that he is "not very good with words" so, perhaps, having a long and deep conversation through texts can generate insecurity and even a Shame on Blitz. Maybe it will clarify the behavior of sending short messages a little.

There are a lot of things to say about that episode but my favorite part, by far, is Blitz and Fizz reactions around each other. Blitz is especially defensive and protective when it comes to Fizz, it's just adorable. And it speaks volume about how close they were back then if, after 15 years apart, and all the shit that went on at Loo loo Land and Ozzie's, that they still manage to work so well as a duo.
Another thing I love is how Stolas was ready to help Ozzie just because he could. He didn't know Blitz was involve and we know, from Truth Seekers, that he wouldn't hesitate to destroy anyone that try to hurt Blitz x) And, by just being selfless, he manages to get what he wanted, a gift for Blitz to make their relationship more healthy. While Blitz got back his best friend, probably the person who can understand him the most.
Stolas is a pacifist, (I think the Ars Goetia book described him that way too, he is based on), he scared the shit out of the agents but didn't harm them.
Fizz x Ozzie are so, so, *SOOOOOOO CUUUTE* 🥰🥰🥰🥰

The thing about crystals is that they can have different forms. Like Barbie Wire had one in the watch form, the imp guy had other shaped into plug probably cuz he got it illegally since remember that only Ozzy's demons are allowed to use them legally
My thought is that Blitzø's sister blames him for killing their mom, and that his father blames him for damaging their best performer.
They're the "they" that kept Blitzø and Fizz from seeing each other after the accident in the beginning, and Blitzø and Fizz just kept it going because each thought the other hated them.

He had only bad things to say about the Moxxie and Millie at camp episode, because he didn’t understand the point, and he just thinks that Blitz and Fizz never seeing each other is, oops, misunderstanding bad writing blah blah blah.

Someone might have pointed this out, but to touch on the...'Utility', of the Oz-crystals, I think that was just the case of that one particular incubus Blitz was shaking down in episode 5, as Barbie also had an Oz-crystal and she seemed to be wearing it on her wrist, if I recall correctly. I'm guessing where one keeps the crystal on their person is down to an individual choice.

After this episode and the next one it's extremely evident why Blitzø hates so much the Robo Fizz, they're sex dolls made with the image of his best friend and crush. Fizz was such a cutie, and Blitzø was protective of him getting rid of creeps, and hated the idea of him being exploited to gain fame....and when Blitzø disappears from his life that's exactly the path Fizz takes. Of course Blitzø would want to burn every robot he crosses paths with.
Blitzo's envelope also said "For Fizz's eyes only" with a heart. So, even tho Blitzo was jealous, he also seems to have developed a crush on him.
