I like that Millie’s lack of character development throughout the series thus far is connected to the exploration of her in this episode. To us, she is amazingly skilled at combat, she soloed 50 guys in Crim’s mansion, but she’s from Wrath. And by Wrath standards, she doesn’t think she’s that special, because her skillset seems to be the Wrath standard, rather than being viewed as particularly special. So when her skills are actually showered with praise and adoration, she doesn’t even understand why in her song.
21:40 this bit when she says she feels like shes important, someone to be proud of, is a reference back to harvest moon festival where its heavily implied that Millie's family have always been a little judgemental and down-putting of her, such as comparing her with sallie may and being sarcastic about her working "freelance" and getting on her case about striker getting the better of her before moxxie stepped in to stand up to them for her. Its also why she tears up and wipes them away at that point because shes been after the kind of attention the campers have been giving her for all her life i think and thats one of the reasons i think she left the farm to go try living a life of her own away from them.
Also I think she doesn’t have the best relationship with her mother. She was the one who kinda sorta criticized her job for working “freelance” as she put it and then flat out blamed Millie for letting Striker get to her. So I think her mom gives her more of a hard time than her dad does because she’s obviously a “daddy’s little girl”.
My assumption as far as the disguises is that it requires a level of magic that they don't possess that potentially luna does. When stolas put on his disguise, blitzø asked for one but stolas said "without my grimoire my powers are limited in the human world." I assume luna has something allowing her to disguise herself but it's not strong enough to share and she wouldn't anyways because it's not her character and they don't possess that power by themselves
my assumption is that they can be bought, since loona expected them to have disguises like her. and frankly blitz doesnt seem the type to spend money on something as 'unimportant' as human disguises. i mean if they required a level of magic or spellwork specific to higher beings or in the grimoire, they wouldn't be Accessible to the majority of hellborn

This is another proof that Blitz accepted the deal for Stolas, he has other accessible ways to go to Earth but he CHOSE Stolas, not the book but Stolas, just like their first night together.

I also think it's a bit of a stretch to say Moxxie wanted to be the best at the job, More so that he wanted to actually prove that he can DO the job at all.
@poggy2904 So Millie can not feel hurt by Moxxie because he has trauma? Also, she literally tried to help to get popular and instead of killing the target she respect his choice of doing for finding him.
I thought this was a really fun episode and of course it was so exciting to be introduced to Barbie! But of course, no one likes to see a seemingly perfect couple have such tension and disagreement. My wife hated this episode mostly due to how Moxxie was behaving. And I totally understand that. But I think we can all relate to both Moxxie and Millie wanting to be recognized for their talents. It’s definitely not my favorite episode but I don’t think it is a terrible one!
Barb crossed out her forehead mark to symblically reject her association with Blitz (her only remaining family, who also has that mark). And the next episode "Oops" will explain it all...
I’m not so sure it’s to symbolize breaking from the circus. She’s got aesthetic scars, and the poster of her and Blitzø has all the scars, including the X over her circus crest.
@@FlybyStardancer Dark thought, what if she burnt the x on purpose? (White spots are scars on imps) Or could be a burn injury from the fire, but it seems too "straight" for that.
@@sqxbarto9229white marks are just scars in general, not only burns, so it’s probably that she cut the scar in with a knife, seeing as you can’t really control fire like that. Either way she most definetly did it on purpose, seeing as she has scars clearly done on purpose all over.
This is one of the moments I appreciate that I don’t engage with fandom normally before watching something bc i dislike a sort of herd response that changes peoples perspective on things, and I think everyone’s entitled to their own uninfluenced thoughts! I loved this episode and im JUST finding out it’s majority vote hated by the comments lmao 😭 like, Millie singing! The first time these two had a real argument in the show!! They’re always portrayed as the favorite power couple (which they are! And I love them the most for this!) but showing that even the most “perfect couple” still has moments of misalignments, disagreements, frustration that comes with someone’s POV not being understood and communicational conflict that comes with relations whether romantic or platonic rly made me happy to see, and seemed more realistic to how we are with our interactions with others. And that “you got the power” songs lyrics were literally hilarious 💀 definitely not a flashy episode, but that doesn’t make it a bad episode!
I honestly think a lot of the hate for this ep just comes from the previous one, the complete Stolas/Stolitz cliffhanger, especially with the hospital fake-out at the start. That's how I felt watching it, at least. Hearing him discuss it though and reading the comments here (and honestly probably having the new Stolitz eps 😅) has made me appreciate it a lot more. It is SO important to the narrative of this season to see them not be a perfect couple 24/7 and to see how they resolve their issues: communication. On first watch, seeing Moxxie behave like this felt out of character to me but I see now how it all fits
I gotta say, I love the way this episode uses Millie and Moxxie. It's so cool to see their dynamic as something other then loving and supportive. Seeing Millie actually get angry at someone other then the people she needs to/wants to kill. The conflict between her and Moxxie might be a bit forced/rushed but it's still really awesome to see it play out.
So glad that Millie got to shine in this episode! However, this is one of the least liked episodes of Helluva Boss. I personally don't hate it though and I think it's important to show that healthy relationships still have conflict occasionally. Can't wait to see more Millie-centric stuff in the future!
The fake/ real thing is deffo something i didn't pick up on. The thing i was picking up on I wonder if I might be right or not about is that Millie was naturally basically the perfect man and Moxxie's masculinity is constantly being undermined by Millie's family, Blitzo, Stryker etc
if I'm not mistaken they mentioned in the Hollywood episode that forming a human disguise is a kind of spell that has to be learned/memorised it's where the whole "okay then. What's *his* phone number?" joke came from
It’s implied that Verosika gave Barbie that crystal because they both knew each other in rehab and their hate of Blitzo. Also I can’t stop laughing at the gang being cat and Moxxie’s girl voice.
Western energy Unhappy campers and oops all take place during the same week. I reckon Unhappy campers takes place a day or two after Western energy hence why Loona is probably sleeping. Shots/jabs can make you feel really tired and feeling fatigue. This was probably my least favourite episode so far but despite that i still really enjoyed it regardless.
fun fact did you see the two lines under his eyes in the corner. im thinking ever since stolas got taken and injured that blitz was probably losing sleep because of it
11:08 😂😂😂 I can't bro that was the most perfect wheeze man I really love this episode it grew so so much on me. The humor in this one is hilarious😂 and the fact that one guy pulled the asmodeam crystal out his ass and has it as a butt plug- I don't know whether it's disturbing or really genius😂😭 oh my god you're right with the ATLA paralells !!😳
Always great to see your reactions and hear out your thoughts afterwards. Personally for me this was definitely the most uncomfortable episode so far, mostly due to that argument scene between M&M, although it was necessary for viewers to see them in such situation. Next episode's gonna be a favourite of mine from this first half of season 2, so definitely will look forward to hearing your thoughts about it afterward even more
I really enjoy your commentary throughout the episodes and at the end of them! You bring up ideas and theories I've never thought of and it makes me love the series even more 😊 Amazing as always!
My guess on why Loona hasn’t had any lines from episodes 3-5 is that her voice actor Erica Lindbeck’s boyfriend was battling colon cancer and he sadly passed away because of it, so I think she needed time to be there for him and then mourn his passing. But I have seen people think that there was drama between Erica and Viv, which is obviously not true! I think the former is the most likely reason.
Your reactions to this series are my favorite part of Fridays! This is actually one of my favorite episodes and I'm always a little sad it's vocally disliked by so much of the fandom. Loved your analysis.
I think the real reason is because they don't need it, "legally" imps have no business on earth. Hellhounds have probably some kind of job that requires it, or they are just lucky, I don't know.
I hope in your future helluva boss reaction you maybe have to open the subtitle for more entertainment because the CC makes the show more funny as hell😂
The symbol on blitz and barbies heads are basically brands from working in the circus. Barbie has crossed it out because the circus is where all the bad stuff in her life came from.
I think you’re a little off about why exactly Blitz wanted to see Barbie, I think the implication with the interactions with the nurse is that he has actually regularly tried to sneak in and see Barbie in spite of her not wanting to see him, like every several months I imagine he tries to see her and how she’s doing, and this was just the most recent time where he then finds out she checked out. I don’t think it was spurred on by anything else because it’s something he already has been doing for a long time
This WAS my least favourite episode but upon rewatching I think it just seems much worse because it's sandwiched between Western Energy and OOPS, two objectively better episodes by miles and both of which carry heavier emotional stakes. I think Cherubs is truly the worst episode in the show, this one still isn't great but I think it's not as bad as people want to make it out to be.
I agree I think Cherub is my least favorite episode overall but there hasn’t been an episode I haven’t liked! But something always has to be at the bottom of the list but that doesn’t automatically make it bad!
@@Omn1Media 1000% agree! Cherubs might be my least favourite episode but it still makes me laugh like crazy ("let me perish!" is just cemented into my vernacular now). Overall this show hardly every misses imo
THIS IS JUST ME!!!: But, i hate cringe it just feels bad, not funny bad, so the whole moxxie with the kids is ROUGH! however the rest of the episode, how well millie fits in and then introduction of barbie wire is awesome, so it boils down to an awesome episode with terrible cringe 😅
This episode feels really bad when you see it from Moxxie's perspective, He's pretty much been a damsel in distress the entire series, Even against his own father, He was pretty much disabled instantly the second he threatened him and ended up having to get rescued by Millie again. And now even when he's finally gotten the chance to prove himself, He still doesn't actually get to do anything. (I also think it's a weird choice to have Millie with these insecurities, When really they're what you'd expect from Moxxie considering he's been the punching bag the entire series, I'm all for Millie getting more development and backstory, I think it just feels a bit too similar to what was already setup with Moxxie imo, Especially after all we learn in Exes and ooh's, His trauma just feels a bit more.. severe 💀) The storyline definitely would have benefited from maybe having had a Millie centric episode beforehand too
"I want to know what happened at the circus, and what happened with his sister, and Fizz etc." oh you poor child, none of us wanted to know once we found out. (I know you already have seen it, but I'm playing catch up) ~
But the thing you said about the human disguises I don't think Imps can usually conjure themselves some because in S2 Ep2 „Seeing Stars“ Blitz did ask Stolas whether or not he could conjure them some but he said no because he'd need his grimoire for this. So I think it has to do with Barbie using the crystal's power
Anytime I see Moxxie acting like a kid(in this case portraying a teenage girl) i can't help but bust out laughing! He did oversell a little bit when he was talking to the 3 girls especially when he brought up the period bit and with the tube top shirt he had on cause no teenage or pre-teen girl would wear that(any parent or guardian would make sure of that) but he was rocking those nails! I did love seeing Barbie Wire, I love her design and I hope we see before season 2 ends or when season 3 begins that she and Blitz try to make amends like- I don't want to spoil anything but it is in the next episode- and I wonder if we will see Buckoo(blitz and barbie's dad) in the new episodes coming out soon.
This is Helluva Bosses "The great Divide" for me. Blitzy & Barbie is interesstring, but the entire M&M Plotline is just... they couldn't have made it less interessting for me if they tried.
sadly we still have yet to know officially why the I.M.P. team lack human disguises, but given that it seems to be magical a common theory/headcanon is that disguises are soethign expensive you can buy (thought the fact loona has one and expresses surprise at the team lacking some may make this idea quesitonable)
I know I’ve said it before, but I legit do not know how some of y’all are holding off the reactions to once a week lol. I don’t have that much patience when it comes to VivziePop 😂❤
My first time watching this episode, the second-hand embarrassment I felt for Moxxie was _intense,_ and I really disliked the episode for that, because I was practically cringing the whole way through. 😅 That said, with multiple rewatches through the helpful filter of reaction channels, I’ve come to cringe a lot less and appreciate more of the humor and the character development they worked in here, especially for M&M’s relationship. I’ve come around to actually liking the episode, to a degree, although it’s still tied with CHERUB as one of the overall weaker episodes of the series, for me. The next couple episodes are absolute _BANGERS,_ though, and I can’t wait to see your reactions to those!!! 😁
I think you're the first person I've seen that actually kind of enjoyed this episode. Rewatching it though, it's honestly not as horrible of an episode as i first thought
I think this is an episode that grows on you after a bit. I remember I was rewatching this show for my friend who’s never seen it and when we got to this I was just audibly annoyed. But after rewatching it I realized it’s not that bad as I remember. Sure it ain’t like my favorite in the series, and I gotta be in a mood and I can’t rewatch it as much as others. But I feel like lotta ppl like to say it’s like “out of character” or annoying. (Which too each their own ofc not invalidating anyone’s opinion) but I personally believe Moxxie has always had that and it’s just been sorta lingering. Moxxie has a lot of insecurities, which fair, his dad is a psychopath and even people who he care about or are his friends are constantly making jokes at his expense which probably doesn’t help. But he really just let those insecurities take over and he was just kinda a dck I don’t think this takes away from his character at all. I just think it adds to his character development more and it gives more Millie content. All couples fight even the healthy ones like M&M
I like all of the helluva boss episodes but to me this is the least memorable one, I still like the character development between moxie and Millie though, I also like the side plot with blitz and Barbie. ( 2:46 also I’m pretty sure that’s a drawing Brandon Roger’s did)
Some people say that Millie is kinda bland. For me that's just weird, I think she is the best girl in the show (wouldn't mind an episode centered on her though. That short with her and Sallie May was great). And (a bit unrelated) Stolas is the best boi. But I love Blitzø, Moxxie and Loona as well. They are all great.
This episode has always been my least favorite by a lot. I love Moxxie, but just find him so cringey in this episode and get second hand embarrassment watching it. However, you made it way more enjoyable by tying it back to ATLA, one of my all time favorite series. ❤
this episode was a rough one for me unfortunately it really made me cringe. Overused word but it's the only episode in the entire series that made me feel this way.

And in truth seekers one of Blitz's biggest annoyances is that Moxxie ''Doesn't ever shut up about Millie and never has time to hang out''
Blitz and Loona shit on Moxxie literally every episode and treat Millie perfectly fine, I guess it just feels weird after having Moxxie's backstory expanded to still have him as a punching bag.
Agreed!
Barb crossed out her forehead mark to symblically reject her association with Blitz (her only remaining family, who also has that mark). And the next episode "Oops" will explain it all...
Are they born with those crests? :o
@@Omn1Media I don't think so, it seems to be a tattoo, all Cash's circus performers have one, like a brand mark?
Moxxie and his shark problem
That, the barbie plot, the two Millie songs are the only things I actually liked
OMG YES THANK YOU
I honestly think a lot of the hate for this ep just comes from the previous one, the complete Stolas/Stolitz cliffhanger, especially with the hospital fake-out at the start.
'Camp Ivannakummore' is the most Austin Powers joke XD
I gotta say, I love the way this episode uses Millie and Moxxie. It's so cool to see their dynamic as something other then loving and supportive. Seeing Millie actually get angry at someone other then the people she needs to/wants to kill. The conflict between her and Moxxie might be a bit forced/rushed but it's still really awesome to see it play out.
You have to watch ‘Just Look My Way’ it’s a Stolas song that was released separately and it’s so beautiful
Don’t worry, I will be! ^^
@@Omn1Media Yay! It’s one of my favorites! I’m absolutely loving the content btw! Keep up the good work!!
So glad that Millie got to shine in this episode! However, this is one of the least liked episodes of Helluva Boss. I personally don't hate it though and I think it's important to show that healthy relationships still have conflict occasionally. Can't wait to see more Millie-centric stuff in the future!
You are simply my favorite reactor to Vivzie content. It's a genuinely fun time to watch you see all these plot points and situations. So thanks.
The fake/ real thing is deffo something i didn't pick up on. The thing i was picking up on I wonder if I might be right or not about is that Millie was naturally basically the perfect man and Moxxie's masculinity is constantly being undermined by Millie's family, Blitzo, Stryker etc
It’s so hard to discourse about this episode because the people who hate it and the people who like it are seeing completely different things.
if I'm not mistaken they mentioned in the Hollywood episode that forming a human disguise is a kind of spell that has to be learned/memorised
it's where the whole "okay then. What's *his* phone number?" joke came from
The following episodes enter the top of the best episodes of the series
Agree ep 6 and 7 are peak Helluva
32:48 - I really like the little drawing of Loona stabbing the goat doctor in the vet episode.
This was probably not their best episode, but every series will have a few of those. But it did make me laugh a few times
I like the episode I thought it was good
It’s implied that Verosika gave Barbie that crystal because they both knew each other in rehab and their hate of Blitzo. Also I can’t stop laughing at the gang being cat and Moxxie’s girl voice.
Western energy
Unhappy campers and oops all take place during the same week.
I reckon Unhappy campers takes place a day or two after Western energy hence why Loona is probably sleeping. Shots/jabs can make you feel really tired and feeling fatigue.
This was probably my least favourite episode so far but despite that i still really enjoyed it regardless.
32:59 I love how there’s usually some sort of recap of the last episode on the whiteboard.
fun fact did you see the two lines under his eyes in the corner. im thinking ever since stolas got taken and injured that blitz was probably losing sleep because of it
11:08 😂😂😂 I can't bro that was the most perfect wheeze
man I really love this episode it grew so so much on me. The humor in this one is hilarious😂 and the fact that one guy pulled the asmodeam crystal out his ass and has it as a butt plug- I don't know whether it's disturbing or really genius😂😭
oh my god you're right with the ATLA paralells !!😳
Next weeks episode is definitely one of my favourites in this season.
The last two episodes are freaking Peak!!!
Knowing moxxie's childhood, this was his first ever camp ...awww
Always great to see your reactions and hear out your thoughts afterwards. Personally for me this was definitely the most uncomfortable episode so far, mostly due to that argument scene between M&M, although it was necessary for viewers to see them in such situation.
Next episode's gonna be a favourite of mine from this first half of season 2, so definitely will look forward to hearing your thoughts about it afterward even more
Absolutely love listening to your breakdowns and afterthoughts for the episodes! 💕 Can’t wait to see further reactions
Barbie saying the flirtation, always make me laugh when i hear it.
Also, Blitz saying "No Call, no note" reminded me of Mrs Weasley scolding the Weasley twins and Ron.
3:06 pretty sure that creature looked like the Creature from the black lagoon kind of makes wonder how he ended up in Hell
6:23 it's Funny to see Moxxie dressed in Drag while he thinks he is a teenage girl LOL
im pretty sure it was confirmed that Brandon Rogers (Blitz's VA) drew it as a joke for Vivzie, but she put it in the show
I really enjoy your commentary throughout the episodes and at the end of them! You bring up ideas and theories I've never thought of and it makes me love the series even more 😊 Amazing as always!
Barbie crossed out the family crest on her forehead because she doesn't want to be in the same family as Blitz.
Don't forget Verosika and her succubus gang also have human disguises.
I think Imps have to get clearance to get a human disguise.
Your reactions to this series are my favorite part of Fridays! This is actually one of my favorite episodes and I'm always a little sad it's vocally disliked by so much of the fandom. Loved your analysis.
as a coming fan of Helluva Boss I'd didn't know Blitz had a Sister that went to rehab
My guess for the human disguises or lack of is probably cause they're not smart enough to know any magic like Luna and Stolas
Re listen to the song at the end, I didnt catch the lyrics the first time around either. The song is about syphilis lmao
I go away for a week and you’ve uploaded SO MUCH helluva content oh my golly wowza YIPPEEE
It was so cringy that i went to the 4th dimension
The short they recently did was WAY better than this episode's attempt of doing a "Mille episode"
Make sure to check out that vid as well if you haven’t!
This was more of a blitzo episode
I’m SOOOOOO excited for the next two episodes!!!
So with the whole Hollywood thing, just an FYI those weren't awards. That was merchandise from people peddling their stuff on the street.
Dude, I adore your vids of reactions on Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel X3 keep going! Can't wait what you think about another ep of Helluva Boss
Not me getting home and waiting for the new helluva boss reaction to drop twt
This may be the Funniest episode of Helluva Boss
This is Helluva Bosses "The great Divide" for me.
Blitzy & Barbie is interesstring, but the entire M&M Plotline is just... they couldn't have made it less interessting for me if they tried.
Haha I’m starting to see that’s a common through! 😂
If I had a quarter for every time you've said "awwww" on your channel I'd be rich.
It’s my fave episode but I love moxxie and Millie ❤❤ I’m looking forward to the next two reactions tho !!! Loving your reactions x
Loonas VA sadly lost her Fiance to... cancer is believe, which is the reason why she wasn't that active during the last few Episodes.
sadly we still have yet to know officially why the I.M.P. team lack human disguises, but given that it seems to be magical a common theory/headcanon is that disguises are soethign expensive you can buy (thought the fact loona has one and expresses surprise at the team lacking some may make this idea quesitonable)
Be careful. The next two episodes WILL hit where it hurts!
The secondhand embarrassment I had for Moxie this episode on first watch was like being flayed alive
Ok he actually made this episode not suck
I know I’ve said it before, but I legit do not know how some of y’all are holding off the reactions to once a week lol. I don’t have that much patience when it comes to VivziePop 😂❤
They don’t have human disguises. I think Loonas VA suffered a close loss and is needing time to grieve.
My first time watching this episode, the second-hand embarrassment I felt for Moxxie was _intense,_ and I really disliked the episode for that, because I was practically cringing the whole way through. 😅
That said, with multiple rewatches through the helpful filter of reaction channels, I’ve come to cringe a lot less and appreciate more of the humor and the character development they worked in here, especially for M&M’s relationship.
I’ve come around to actually liking the episode, to a degree, although it’s still tied with CHERUB as one of the overall weaker episodes of the series, for me.
The next couple episodes are absolute _BANGERS,_ though, and I can’t wait to see your reactions to those!!! 😁
Why did I never notice that imp pulled the portal ring came out of his bussy
I think you're the first person I've seen that actually kind of enjoyed this episode. Rewatching it though, it's honestly not as horrible of an episode as i first thought
Loona's VA's finance tragically passed away, and she took personal time away
The no human disguises deal is a skill gap issue. You have to be able to cast and maintain the spell and Blitz and M&M can't.
Imps can only get human desges from spells or admodus crystals
In chat comment in millierd vid say "im not okay" is that a kid that get hit by mllie 😂
But he really just let those insecurities take over and he was just kinda a dck
I don’t think this takes away from his character at all. I just think it adds to his character development more and it gives more Millie content. All couples fight even the healthy ones like M&M
I like all of the helluva boss episodes but to me this is the least memorable one, I still like the character development between moxie and Millie though, I also like the side plot with blitz and Barbie. ( 2:46 also I’m pretty sure that’s a drawing Brandon Roger’s did)
I'm pretty sure its implied they can't afford human desquises.
Hi Omni! After next episode You should definitely react to Stolases; Just look my way music video. Very emotional and amazing song ❤️
We love moxxie even more after these, if u don't then u didn't love for start, u love the idea u had of him, anyway fighting ❤
this episode is equal to the Cherubs for me 💀
Some people say that Millie is kinda bland. For me that's just weird, I think she is the best girl in the show (wouldn't mind an episode centered on her though. That short with her and Sallie May was great). And (a bit unrelated) Stolas is the best boi. But I love Blitzø, Moxxie and Loona as well. They are all great.
A lot of shows do plots liek thsi avatar isn’t the first to do stuff like this it’s just classic cartoon archs
That's not what I was talking about lol
Ah the brutality of teenage girls (and teens in general). The writers of Hellavua Boss got it right 🤌
Mox fucked up immadiatley. You cant dump your whole character immadiatley.
This episode has always been my least favorite by a lot. I love Moxxie, but just find him so cringey in this episode and get second hand embarrassment watching it. However, you made it way more enjoyable by tying it back to ATLA, one of my all time favorite series. ❤
My leas favorite but at least we saw barbie!
Day 24 of petitioning you to watch Murderdrones
My favorite episode!
Oh heck not again but here we go
this episode was a rough one for me unfortunately it really made me cringe. Overused word but it's the only episode in the entire series that made me feel this way.
