I love that this episode showed that even in healthy relationships couples still picker and fight but strong healthy relationships will flourish through the dark days. I wish precious episodes would have showed off and built up to how Millie has an insecurity of being enough.
Probably my only critique as well besides only few minutes of Barbie Wire. Because Millie never was a character I expected to be insecure and would love to see why or more
My theory on why Barbie hates Blitzø is because of his attempts on helping her. I’m guessing their mom died in their teenage years, Blitzø got abandonment issues while Barbie got into a really depressed stage which led her to so drugs. She never told Blitzø and once he found out he decided to send her to rehabs out of fear of losing her too. This maybe the reason why Blitzø is hated by Barbie.
I like how Moxxie and Millie actually had conflict with one another for this ep instead of being portrayed as the "perfect couple" It made it more interesting to me. Also loved seeing more personality from Millie's character.
Well, there was that time Millie was getting fed up with Moxxie's shenanigans when they visited LA to look for Stolas' daughter. Of course, I'm not sure if that exactly counts, as it was more of a gag than an actual conflict.
In episode 3 of Season 1 Verosika said "Rehab is for sad, loser, washups. So your sister says hi" when insulting Blitz. I genuinely can't believe they set this up that early! Sometimes I'm so impressed by the amount this story, characters, and world seem to be mapped out! Also, the fact that Blitz is having less and less people willing to be around him is sad. I think this episode really makes what he asked Luna in Queen Bee hit even more.
If I remember correctly, Happy Birthday! 🎉 It was not only great to see Millie get so much more screen time, but also interesting that we get the first real quarrel we've seen between her and Moxie and see them work through it. It a healthy way. Plus, we finally got to meet Barbie Wire, which means, yep, that's more depression for Blitzø.
i LOVE barbie's design SO much. shes so pretty, i cant wait to see more of her. this episode was awesome! moxxie and millie also look FIRE in drag and tomboy style.
I think Blitz was worried that Barbie wasn't in rehab any more. It felt like he's scared she'll relapse more than anything else. I kind of got the feeling he was concerned for her and she tended to push him away. I got serious "trying to help the addict in the family" vibes from Blitz the whole episode.
I overall loved this episode, showing Blitzø's relationship with Barbie, Millie having an episode focused on her, and showing that the M&M's can argue and come out of it just as close if not closer. Animation and plot are amazing and the songs slap, great episode.
I love how whenever they need human disguises, Moxxie and Millie default to crossdressing. You really should watch with the closed captions on. They hide jokes and comments in them.
Barbie's gem is also definitely an Asmodean Crystal. The magic has the same crystalline effect as the dude from Lust used. Aside from portal creation, it seems it's what the succubi (including Verosika's crew) use to disguise themselves. Or it's just Barbie that needed it to transform (we already see that hellhounds and the Ars Goetia can do it on their own, so maybe the succubi only need the crystals for portals). But yeah, we see that an imp can use one, so that only adds to that 'Stolas is securing a crystal for Blitz' theory. Also, Blitz's comment about heroin makes me wonder how much do Earth drugs even affect imps. It's nice to finally see the rehab mentioned in episode 3. Makes sense it's in Sloth.
I love Barbie’s design, but I can’t help but feel pity for Blitzø. He’s estranged with his family now. 😢 At least he still has Loona. She’s such a good daughter.
Well, I feel so sorry for Moxxie. This was the most embarassing episode for him so far. But on the plus side, his relationship with his wife remained wholesome by the end of the episode. As for Millie, I am glad that her having more screen time compared to other episodes is really nice to see.
I like seeing that having a healthy relationship doesn’t mean that there will never be bickering and arguments. Sometimes, couples fight and that’s okay. It’s about how you handle it that matters. And not only that, but glad to finally see Barb. We don’t know what happened yet, but knowing how Blitz has a past of burning bridges and all of a sudden he wants to fix things between them, her feelings are very valid and it’s understandable why she doesn’t trust him or want anything to do with him. Stolas actually wants to be there for Blitz but he pushes him away and won’t even go see him. Hopefully, things will work out in the end because M&M are the perfect parallels.
Blitzo's situation really sucks. Like, you can see why people would want to push him away but he clearly wants to try and help right past wrongs. I imagine he either fucked up so bad or fucked up so many times that people just don't want to give him the chance to hurt him again
When an evil human dies and goes to hell, their souls take physical forms, becoming sinners demons, their physical forms are a reflection of how they were in lives, their bestial behaviors and the way they died. If moxxie's client died in the water, it makes sense that his stomach would reflect that.
The fact that humans in this series can see past Moxxie's femboy disguise but can’t see past Millie's tomboy disguise is one of the funniest parts of the episode.
Barbie was probably scarred on purpose to make cool marks on her skin. She has them on the circus poster, so it was probably for her act, whereas Blitz is unmarked, meaning he was probably hurt in an accident, likely the same accident that hurt Fizzarolli.
Yeah, a big issue Moxie has that was heavy talked about in season 1 is that he has a massive issue with self esteem. He has so mucn riding on how other's see him and getting validation from others and now we see how that's an issue in his relationship.
Is anyone else starting to get really concerned about Blitzø’s mental state? Like his own sister rejected him, he crossed himself out of every photo in his apartment, kind of seems like Stolas might be giving up on him, and Ozzie’s definitely hurt him a lot.
3:43 Its actually not ironic, its intentional. Vivzie has mentioned before that the design of the sinners has elements of their death as a part of them. Such as Lyle Lipton from last season; he was crushed by a piano, so his teeth are piano keys.
I hate how people only feel bad for Blitz, and completely ignore the fact that he must've done something to make everyone else mad. Sure maybe he apologised once or twice but like, judging on how he acts most of the time I'm not surprised nobody took them
There’s not much to go on with the subplot involving Blitz’s estranged sister Barbie. She clearly hates him with a vengeance, but that’s about it. There’s got to be more to their story than what we’ve been hearing from these characters alone.
I literally said the same thing when the shark showed up! I literally hate that idea! Like I'm not going in a lake now! Nuh uh! No way! I choose life! I don't even like looking at those stupid realistic toy sharks!
On one hand this episode was really good at showing that even tho moxie and millie fight they can work through it in a healthy manner and on the other MORE BLITZO DEPRESSION WHY
14:03 OK, WTF is the deal with moxxie and sharks?! First it was The Harvest Moon Festival, then it was Exes & Oohs (his ex BF was a shark demon) and now this?? Guess we should change moxxie’s name to shark-bait from now on. 😅😂
I'm just guessing here, but consider this: Episode 1 of Season 2 was a flashback to Stolas' childhood, with a little bit of how he and Blitz met. So far, this season has leaned heavily onto Blitz's relationships, childhood, and children; even Western Energy where Blitz let Moxxie and Millie go save Stolas while he handled his daughter. I'm unsure if this is me reaching, or if this has more weight... but we know for certain a later episode this season will expand upon Fizz. I have a theory that that, along with this interaction with Barb, as well as a few other crumbs laid - and some to be laid out - will all culminate in a finale that shows us a flashback to Blitz's younger years; back to the catalytic event that destroyed his sense of self-worth, as well as his friendships/relationships. I think something happened in the family circus to ultimately ruin *everything.* Whatever drove Barbie from Blitz, also drove away Fizz; something so bad that Fizz told Blitz that he'd die alone. One thing that could lead to this, and I genuinely home I'm wrong, is Blitz - accidentally or intentionally - killing his father. This would force Barb and Fizz onto the streets with no jobs, and if it was something as catastrophic as a fire - as foreshadowed in Looloo Land, - it could have even badly injured Fizz, possibly leading to his partial roboticization. Barb, potentially an unemployed and homeless teenager, might have turned to drugs as an escape, leading to her addiction. Lastly an act of patricide, whether intended or not, would send Blitz down a rabbit hole of self-loathing. But more than that, it would solidify something in him; that he was a killer. So why not roll with that? He'd already ended one life; what's a few more? A few hundred more? This is just a theory, but... Yeesh, I hope I'm wrong, for Blitz's sake.
Seeing Moxxie unraveling in that song proves that his dad hurt him so much that he is desperate for any kind of validation for his skills or talents since his dad never gave him any of that. Not that it excuses his crappy attitude towards Millie but still.
@MorganTerry it’s nice to see you are doing well. Also this episode is really interesting in general because the main focus s Was Moxie and Milly and the dark side of their relationship and the second was Blitz meeting his estranged sister Barbie Wire and i think the main reason why blitz sister doesn’t him in her life
Blitzø trying to actually mend a relationship, maybe he was trying to offer Barbie Wire a job at I.M.P especially seeing Stolas hurt it might be causing Blitzø to self-reflect and change
My guess on what happened: Blitzo messed up on one of his performances and caused something bad to happen to the entire circus (probably a fight of some sort hence the scars/injuries on their bodies). Met Loona after looking to adopt (Not sure if it was after or during his Circus years when he adopted her). Wound up in jail for causing whatever happened where he met Moxxie. Then left and started IMP. Barbie Wire felt it was his fault for getting her injured enough to get sent to Rehab. Left and found a job protecting the human seen in this episode. Fizzarolli (not sure if I'm spelling that correctly) ended up meeting Asmodeus after what happened to him at the circus. (Probably where he got the robotic parts of his body from).
I loved Barbie’s human disguise! It reminds me of Velvette a little! I’m so curious to see Blitzo’s. Maybe if Stolas gives him an Asmodean crystal, he’ll have one? This entire episode was CRAZY! I felt like so much was going on but it was so good!! I really really liked the end song when Barbie, Blitzo and Moxxie were fighting Edit: It’s not on there officially, but someone did record Cotton Candy from Ayy Lmao’s RUclips clip and uploaded it! The quality is clear. It’s at the bottom of a Hazbin/Helluva playlist
the white marks that Barbie has on her body, they are scars, but from the shapes they have, it seems that they were made on purpose, maybe she made them herself or it was someone else.
Not gonna lie, i genuinely thought Blitzo was gonna visit Stolas at first and was disappointed. As for Moxxie and Millie's plot, it was ok, glad Millie got the spotlight for a change. Barb's intersection of the plots felt weird, but i'll take it. As for the explanation behind the Asmodean Crystals, it all starts make more sense to me 😅. Ngl, i'll jumped to assumptions based on the name, with Asmodeus' connection to lust, figured it was a demonic roofie. As if Stolas were to go "Love me, i command you!" But i'm glad that's not the case. As for Millie and Moxxie in the end...No, not in front of Danny Phantom Jr.!
I have a theory that blitz caused something that did major damage to the circus or worse, he accidentally got his mother killed, and he was disowned by his family and was forced to leave It’s just a theory of mine and I actually hope it’s not true but if it is then I’m gonna cry
It sadly makes sense for Blitzø to think he might die alone. His mother is... we don't know but she might be dead. His father is a jerk. His sister hates him. His best friend (Fizzarolli) also doesn't like him now for a reason we still have to learn about, and Blitzø was forced to perform at Looloo land with a robotic copy of Fizz for a while, as if he wasn't good enough to be with the real one. So yeah basically a lot of people hate him, but he does have Stolas, Loona, Millie and Moxxie now, even if things aren't perfect yet.
I loved hearing your laugher throughout this episode; it's such great laughter X3 Yeah, this episode did focus on a more realistic and darker part of Moxxie and Millie's relationship and the sibling relationship between Barbie and Blitz, but this was also a funny episode
Just a note on your comment on the clints stomach with the water effect, when sinners die their death is shown in their afterlife form, so to speak, for example like at season 1 episode 4 cherub, the clints business partner has piano keys as teeth because he died by a piano falling on his head. Even their personality is shown through their afterlife form (as shown by the robotic structure of the business partner, showing he had little to no empathy towards the poor he experimented on) same can be said about Angel Dust and Alastair (From Hazbin Hotel)
That client at the beginning being an aquatic demon makes a lot of sense. I remember ages ago hearing that a lot of sinners' demon forms are meant to be ironic and reflect either how they died or their sins. Kinda like a form of punishment that reminds you why you're in hell for eternity.
So the white is indeed scarring, but Barbie’s scars are mostly self inflicted or act inflicted cut lines, some showing suicide attempts, some showing fighting, some showing drug use… and the head showing her cutting lines to cross off the brand (not yet sure if family, ruler, or something else) also some ritual scarring to make the others more “fashionable”
Everyone kept telling me that imps can't have human disguises, well this episode prove them wrong! I was right! Blitz should have seen the signs that the reason why Barbie didn't call or write to Blitz because she didn't want to see him nor speak to him. Moxxie should have just listen to Millie and kill the target when they got there. They would have ended in a day. At least Moxxie learn his lesson and set things right with her. It was funny what these two did on stage at the end. While Moxxie set things right with Millie; however, with Blitz, he was unable to set things right with his sister, Barbie Wire sadly.
I won’t even lie, I was expecting Blitz to have done something bad to Barbie and he was trying to apologize. But this episode just sounds like Barbie is being a stuck-up brat and he was just trying to be a good brother.
In the beginning you said it was ironic that the client died via drowning and had a water abdomen. It's not irony, it's been confirmed that the bodies sinners have in Hell directly correlate to how they died. Alastor from Hazbin has deer antlers because he was shot after being mistaken for a deer, for example. Angel Dust takes the form of a spider because he died due to his family being part of the mob, and a 'web' of conspiracy.
3:43 i could be wrong, but i think sinners have elements in their design in relation to how they died. like, i think Alistor was mistaken for a deer and was shot by a hunter, thus having antlers
14:10 On pretty unrelated note: sorry to dissapoint but from what little marine biology I studied - a shark COULD very much survive in a "non-salt water" at least for some time, fish that live in saltwater can survive in fresh water for a while (they would get really sick after couple hours or days) but fish living in fresh water would die almost immidietly after contact with saltwater because they cannot filter it (sorry my tism has activated XD)
I’m not sure if you know this, but Vivian has said that sinners’(humans who die and go to hell) character designs are based on how they died and how they lived, it applies to the sinners in Hazbin hotel as well like how Angel Dust O.D.’d (Vivian already confirmed this) so his name changed to a drug.
(6:14) I'm starting to think that was intentional on Brandon Rogers' part. He likely knew about The Owl House like the rest of us fans, so he projected that line aloud.
It seems like Blitzo wants to fix his past relationships. Before he begins new ones. He is seen with Fizzarolli in a teaser on Twitter. In the next episode. Also imps can get intentional scaring.
Hey Morgan, you know, sinners in Hazbin/Helluva take a form based on factors like their personality, their sins, and the way they died. So this guy who died drowning having the water torso isn't ironic, it makes sense.
Barbie's marks are a kind of tattoo; they're brands. Imagine if, instead of stabbing yourself with ink, you cut yourself intentionally and repeatedly to make scars. I had a college friend whose friend was into branding. It was freaky, but I'm sure that's what Barb's doing.
4:32 Not ironic but it would be funny if it were. Sinners' appearances are influenced by how they died so he doesn't happen to look like that, it's very much because he drowned
My theory is the reason why Blitz is hated by most of his family because he unintentionally set his family circus on fire and maybe something happened his possibly sick Mom, reason I said sick was that young blitz says "Of course I wanna help moma". It wasn’t merely what young Blitz said but how he said it that intrigued me, he didn't wanna steal but want his to die either (I don't know where find a crossed out "O").
You should’ve had the captions on, it made the whole experience that much richer 😦😱😰😳

Because Millie never was a character I expected to be insecure and would love to see why or more
And I liked exactly that, because it's not that uncommon that people who seem like they have it all together are insecure like this.
I see this exact comment on every video related to this episode-
Maybe we'll get more on that in the same episode Sallie May comes back. She's going to be in a future episode, so maybe we'll get a flashback.
@@ambriasaunders1869 ooh, I certaintly hope so! I heard Chazz will be back in flashbacks too so really hoping to see Millie's side of things
Moxxie and Millie’s knack in crossdressing are what some of us likes to call, “The Team Rocket Method.”
“Quick we need disguises, the only solution is crossdressing!”
I like how Moxxie and Millie actually had conflict with one another for this ep instead of being portrayed as the "perfect couple" It made it more interesting to me. Also loved seeing more personality from Millie's character.

I love the Invader Zim reference when "Moxxine" said it's natural, just like Zim saying his green skin was a "Condition."
I love the little drawing on the board of loona murdering the goat doctor that was at the vet.
I think imp scars can either be from accidents like Blitz’s or cosmetic like Moxxie’s freckles or Barbie’s “tats”.
Someone guessed Barbie’s could also be self harm scars /lh
I still love that even if Moxxie is a total theater kid, it doesn't mean he can act for shit
Blitzo's situation really sucks. Like, you can see why people would want to push him away but he clearly wants to try and help right past wrongs. I imagine he either fucked up so bad or fucked up so many times that people just don't want to give him the chance to hurt him again

The fact that humans in this series can see past Moxxie's femboy disguise but can’t see past Millie's tomboy disguise is one of the funniest parts of the episode.

The part with Blitz and his sister broke my heart 😭
It's actually not ironic. Depending on how you died or how you were in life affects how you look in Hell
I have a theory that blitz caused something that did major damage to the circus or worse, he accidentally got his mother killed, and he was disowned by his family and was forced to leave
It’s just a theory of mine and I actually hope it’s not true but if it is then I’m gonna cry
I laughed so hard at Millie going "I like sports and fuckin bitches!" 😂😂😂
If the cotton candy refering to drugs...
What were you doing in the intro...
I’m glad I wasn’t the only one praying he was there to see Stolas
I thought he was going to see Stolas too and I was so excited too 😂
I won’t even lie, I was expecting Blitz to have done something bad to Barbie and he was trying to apologize.
Those white marks on barbie are absolutely scars, scars on imps are white blitz's seem to be burns barbies seem to be knife cuts.
The first time anyone has seen a Rolodex in ten years XD
I WAS JUST LOOKING FOR A REACTION VIDEO FOR THIS EPISODE!!
20:23 Something tells me it won't be that way in the future exactly.
I thought I'm the only one, that Blitz was gonna seeing Stolitz
3:43 i could be wrong, but i think sinners have elements in their design in relation to how they died. like, i think Alistor was mistaken for a deer and was shot by a hunter, thus having antlers
There scars on her body but with imps the ones with cool design are done on purpose for a tattoo but the ones with splotches are done by accident
Goddd I want to see Blitz, Barbie and Fizz’s backstories so baddd.
I’m not sure if you know this, but Vivian has said that sinners’(humans who die and go to hell) character designs are based on how they died and how they lived, it applies to the sinners in Hazbin hotel as well like how Angel Dust O.D.’d (Vivian already confirmed this) so his name changed to a drug.
watching anime and reading manga is so exhilarating...
She is Laughing too hard 😂❤
Your not the only one who thought it was a ring pop lol
Ooh. No premiere this time. YES!
Also, this episode was AMAZING!
4:32 Not ironic but it would be funny if it were. Sinners' appearances are influenced by how they died so he doesn't happen to look like that, it's very much because he drowned
18:41 Wonder if Auntie Barb will reappear.
Also, finally got a Millerd episode!
At 2:17 the nurse reminded me of that blue character from garden of banban😅😅😂
You *really* need to turn the closed captioning on after The Target gets taken out. 😂
6:27 To quote Striker… “Why is it always a sex thing!”
ALREADY?? OH YEAH
Love the new hair colour terry looks amazing =D
10:17: I love how you paused on Millie's song and didn't know. 😆
Barbie is already my favorite character
My theory is the reason why Blitz is hated by most of his family because he unintentionally set his family circus on fire and maybe something happened his possibly sick Mom, reason I said sick was that young blitz says "Of course I wanna help moma". It wasn’t merely what young Blitz said but how he said it that intrigued me, he didn't wanna steal but want his to die either (I don't know where find a crossed out "O").
2:01: That's what I thought too! 😭
I get it I was in gay panic mode this entire episode for Milly 🤣I feel it’s illegal for a cartoon demon to look that good. 😂❤
I’m curious about what happened between Blitz and Barbie, hopefully we get a backstory in a future episode
