    Hello, thanks for the content, always fun to see those premodern games. Nice game.
    Just a little tip (ok, not that little of a tip, lol).
    If Goblin player had cast those spells in the right order he could have killed the R/G player.
    Main phase:
    Cast Burning Wish, get Goblin War Strike from sideboard, use Goblin War Strike and hit opponent for 5 damage. Opponent is now on 7 life. Goblin player still has 3 mana open after that.
    Go to combat phase.
    Beginning of Combat:
    He has two 1/1 goblin tokens, a 2/2 Siege Gang Commander, a 1/2 Goblin Tinkerer, and a 1/1 Skirk Prospector;
    Declare Attackers Step:
    Goblin player attacks with them all;
    Declare Blockers Step:
    R/G player blocks Siege Gang Commander with his Llanowar Elf;
    Combat Damage Step:
    Llanowar elf dies by blocking the siege gang, opponent takes 4 damage and goes to 3 life.
    End of Combat Step:
    After combat, you still have 3 mana open, you can use that mana to use the siege gang ability, sac a goblin token and deal 2 damage to the R/G player, now he is at 2 life, use the other mana plus the prospector ability, sacing another token to generate another mana, use the siege gang ability once again with that open mana, sac the tinkerer to deal 2 more damage and kill the R/G player.
    Seeing lethal damage in the middle of the match is not that easy, but maybe my post can help you in the future.
    👍

      Hey Paulo, appreciate the kind words and the comment but I'm not sure if this is for me (the commentator), or Dennis the player? At 12:47 I mention that Dennis can get the War Strike and stated how odd it was that he sac'd the Siege Gang to it's self. Definitely not an optimal line of play for sure.

      It was for Dennis!

    Wish goblins is a cool deck. Just wanna point out Final Fortune is an instant, so its not fetchable with Burning Wish. I wish it was though that would be amazing!

      I show the deck lists at the beginning of the video and talk through any noticeable differences than stock lists. Unfortunately I don't have access to written deck lists.

      You're right! I was mixing it up with Last Chance (which isn't even in the format). That makes this SB inclusion a little more puzzling.

      Not the first time I've made that mistake, won't be the last! Names are NOT my strong suit.

    What is the rule for burning wishin premodern? I can only get a card from my SB?

    • @Heavy_Play
      @Heavy_Play  3 месяца назад

      Yes, wish cards in constructed formats can only grab cards from sideboards. Oftentimes with additional conditions on the types of cards.
