I were sat watching this in a big concert room at local club on big screen ON MY OWN..Had few beers and shouted n scream for peter all the way..I knew he'd win this one day..Was nice to watch him in these highlights all over again..Right must start work...HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL..May 2021 see an end to corona☺🍺

Looking back, the whole tournament was testimony to how Peter Wright's struggles under pressure had led him to where he could produce his best darts under pressure! Most of those matches could have easily gone the other way and were in serious doubt even in the final leg with the final being a rare exception. I really enjoyed Peter winning this tournament. He played some stunning darts. Sideline: Luke Humphries has lost a lot of weight!
I haven't been so happy for someone winning the world championship since Andy Fordham won at lakeside, massive fan of snakebite but even I thought he was destined to be a nearly man
I crapped my pants during the match against Malicdem. Why does he have to make it so close everytime and only shows his world class in the last few legs? Anyways, congratulations to Mr Wright. He really deseverd that 🐍🎉🏆
