    I recently changed from using air chisel horizontal set-up like that. Now, I am using an empty stator block vertically from a microwave transformer.
    The sturdy weight and shape is just right. I put it in a stainless tray and can fly through the good media boards with a chisel and a something to knock the back. (I tend to have another chisel right near and use the back 😂 dont need full hammer weight.)
    The small crystal oscilators and nice components like connectors with good pins are easy to control by sticking them inside the stator gap and dumping into hand after.
    And the mlccs just land mostly in tray.
    Easy to pick through bgas and chips quickly as I go.
    For full size boards, I use two stators.

      Seems handy and tricky setup ... The main issue with all chisels depopulating methods is the right components landing into the tray....

      @PickyPlans yeah I have sorted barrels of types to depopulate.
      These now are free of aluminum capacitors. There is mostly only some junk connectors to pull out.
      Anything with a couple flatpacks or bga.
      I used the air chisel for 2 barrels of power boards.
      Made a plexiglass "trash recepticle" shape to put over a barrel to send it all flying into one mix. Nightmare to sort 😂

      I'm really not after this silver but can easily be stripped using concentrated sulfuric acid with the addition of a few ml nitric acid then precipitated using HCl and water dilution.

    Add some pure silica sand to your flux it will save your crucible a bit and will absorb the sulfides. You can't use only borax. You may also need flux thinners.

    Nice gold, gold is gold, good to have some... but 1,2 from 25 kg... well... nor exactly rich naterial... I have similar material at hand, not so much, so no huge expectation now... thanks

      Thanks mate.
      Make sure to test them before the scaled up run , Majority of modern DIP IC chips only contain aluminum bonding wires. I was lucky that there was also gold plating on the interior side of legs where the bonding wires attached to. Milling action also caused gold plated pieces to pass through the screen.... So it made the job much easier.
      Typically DIP IC chips with 14-16 pins /legs usually yield between 0 - 0.17 grams per kg. 0.1 g is conventional.
      Luckily my boards were old enough (15 years old) , and yielded the highest expected amount.

    With this method, by my opinion you started loosing gold from the first procedure, almost to the last one.
    If you have seen under a microscope how microparts of gold are easily picked up by the water surface tension (cohesion) you will never ever try to panning Nano gold particles!
    Try chemically and careful to recover gold from few parts, lets say 10-20 and simply calculate the result and you will convince yourself.
    Best way after scorching (acetylene torch may be best) and smelting it is to use chemicals.
    Anyway, good movies you are doing as whole. Keep going!

      Panning works well for gold bonding wires. I've opened a few packages through the wet ashing process running the whole batch ...that is not too far from .. This method is used industrially to recycle metals except for the gravity concentration part (Panning)

    Nice work, but that's still low yield though that's why i never buy IC also are you lossing the gold during panning since the gold is really small and it float away with the water. Picky i have mouse PCB and the Cencor IC had a gold bonding wire, what's the best method that i can use to recovery the gold from it did the inceneration is work better with this kind of material? One more i found a pickling acid composition that concist of 2 part 40% HF 4 part 65% HNO3 and 0.3 conc 97% H2SO4 but i don't know the exact recipe can you told me what's the best composition based on your experience.

      For sensor yes incinerate ot and treat with nitric acid and Aqua regia respectively. I've never needed to use HF instead of HCl but I think it ratio should be the same as the Aqua regia with HCl and you don't need excess nitric acid

    Whats tge difference between using 100g of borax and using 20 of borax and 20 of ammonium chloride??
    Whats the differencr between ammonium chloride and borax??

      There are different slag ratios (acidic basic, with different melting points) the amounts of borax and other components depend on the material you want to fuse. Ammonium chloride is sometimes used to remove impurities , it's not considered as a part of slag , over decomposition ammonium chloride produces HCl and NH4 gas which react with impurities to remove them.

    Этот метод не самый выгодный для такого материала, немного проще всю выбранную лигатуру из микросхем переработать купелированием на свинец, получить сплав Доре и его переработать как пожелаешь, либо в азотной кислоте либо оксидируя ненужный метал воздухом или кислородом в мегрелевой или цементной ванне. Причём при необходимости свинец можно реанимировать используя уголь.

      @@PickyPlans это ещё невсё, если в купель в которой будет нагретый сплав свинца с золотом продувать воздухом и на нём получится оксидный шлак посторонних металлов - посыпаем щёлочью (КОН) И ВСЕ ОКСИДЫ УДАЛЯТСЯ С ЗОЛОТОГО КОРОЛЬКА. такую очистку щёлочью от примесей можно делать с любым золотым корольком.

    Can i usr the this methode to extract gold from phones ?? Im thinking about crashing the whole phone and grind it and do pyrolisis and washing the concentrates then i will follow the same steps from the video
    Do you think this gonna work??
    Separating phone parts is to hard and tiring

      Yes it works , but you need to do the purging step with oxygen even if you want to treat it with nitric acid.

      1 crushing phones
      2 pyrolisis
      3 grinding
      4 washing ash
      5 melt everything with borax and ammonium chloride and copper as a collector metal
      6 electolites to treat the copper/gold bead and burn out the precepetated

      Make sure to add ashing after pyrolysis and grinding. And also oxidize tin or pretreat it with HCl otherwise you would lose some gold and you have to deal with nasty products in your gold percipitate.
      use borax and soda ash as the flux ammonium chloride is not a good option for this

      @@PickyPlans why i should not usr ammonium chloride for this ?? Whats thf role of ammoniim chloride and soda ash??
      I avoide using hcl to not turn gold into gold chloride ..
      Im thinking about using naoh and citric acid solution in the beggining to get rid of tin and solder ..
      In the other hand i am thinking that using oxygen blowing methode is sufficient to grt rid of tin and all the base metals and turn them into oxides that sticks in borax .
      Do you think that is a good idea?

      8 kg of DIP IC chips equals to about 6000 PCS of ICs each yields about 0.0001 grams gold ( 0.6 grams only from Bonding wires). also by considering thick gold plating on the internal legs of ICs 0.001 g in every 10 pcs- as tested- (so another 0.6 grams per 6000 ICs)
      It yields about 1.2 g.
      Usually In modern Boards it's just aluminum coating and bonding wires.

    Зачем столько лишней работы? Зжигаеш на открытом огне микросхемы до бела, потом мельчиш, магнитом выбираеш весь металл. Потом в электролит от аккумуляторов кладеш и понемногу азотной кислоты пока все не растворится. И дальше в царскую водку. А пепел сразу в царскую водку и все

      кажется хорошим процессом, за исключением одного момента. не думаете ли вы, что добавление золы в электролит аккумулятора (серная кислота) приводит к образованию из золы сульфата кальция (гипса)?

      @@PickyPlans нет, давно занимаюсь аффинажем. И магнитный матерьял всегда так растворяю. Берете стеклянный стакан наливаеш электроплит, засыпаеш магнитный матерьял и добовляеш азотной кислоты, начинается растворение и так понемногу добовляеш азотную кислоту пока не перекратится реакция. Остаются только чешуйки золота с незначительное количество металла. Растворяеш это все в царской водке. Потом гасиш озотную кислоту мочевиной и востонавливаеш золото железным купоросом. Дальше сушеш и плавиш

      @@PickyPlans золу ненужно добовлять в электролит. Металл из залы выбираеш магнитом. А золу заливаеш царской водкой сразу. Потом кепятиш и фильтруеш. Потом понемногу сыпяш мочевину будит реакция уничтожение азотной кислоты. После этого насыпаеш пару ложек железного купароса и золото востонавливается. Сейчас наш русский видеоролик найду для примера и пришлю
