Got my repalcement pads 8.00 today installed them and the washer is quiet as a mouse, like new. Thanks for the very helpful video and solution. Saved me buying a new washer. Thanks much!
Good morning, I have a digital whirlpool washer that works great on small and medium loads but spins the water round on large and super size loads. When you have time could you me idea of what that could be.
I love how you explain how to and repeat movements so we can get a clear understanding. You are very thorough and the watch outs are great. Excellent and thank you!
@Washer Dryer Money.. I cannot thank you enough for posting this video. You are bar none, the BEST RUclipsr I have ever listened to, in explaining the entire process, and showing the process, so that the average guy can get the job done right, the first time, without breaking something or messing it up. I was able to fix my girl friends Admiral washing machine (that she bought used) that had been banging around, with every single spin cycle since we got it to her house and set it up. After watching many videos, that led me down the wrong road, yours hit it out of the park. I found the pads that needed to be replaced. I ended up replacing the three suspension springs as well, since there was a little too much wobble (I thought) in the tub when pushing it from side to side. Those springs took some doing, but I got them replaced, at the some time that I had the machine apart for the tabs, which were badly worn. I just did a huge load of wash, but had to go outside for a while, and when I came back in the machine had not moved one iota. So I filled it again with water just to rinse the big load again. Watched it, and NO death wobble at all. Thank you VERY MUCH for this video.

This is a great how-to video! This was exactly what was wrong with my washer and pretty easy to fix thanks to you. If this didn't fix the shaking problem I was just going to go out and buy a new washer. Man, you saved me $800.00! Thank You! I will subscribe!
Thanks for subscribing. You definitely don’t want to buy a new washer the new ones are such junk compared to these machines. I know that they are frustrating when they break down but the new ones break down so often.
Thanks for the help. After changing out the springs and getting just slight improvement, I was preparing to replace the old girl. I checked out your video, replaced the extremely worn pads, and she works beautifully. 👍
👏👏👏 The pads are not the problem for me, but this video was a complete necessity for me. I would not have been able to find the clips and get the washer apart without this. I also would have have great ,great trouble getting the shroud back on. Thank you!

Great video. This is what RUclips should be used for. So many videos are just junk, showing somebody who doesn't know what they are doing and get lucky fixing something. Side story. We needed our washer and couldn't wait for stuff from ebay. I went to 4 appliance stores. Two did not have part in stock, but could order. I told them to save the trouble, "I can order it on my own". One said he's never heard of that part and didn't want to take the time to even check on it for me. The final one said in 30 years of appliance repair, he's never replaced that part. Then he tried to sell me a new washer to replace my 13 year old one. Then I pressed him, "listen, all I want is the part, do you have it or not?" He sold me the part, but said I was wasting my money. I replaced all 3 and the washer is steady as a rock. Thanks again.
Lol. That’s the problem with appliance repair guys they all think they’re experts. I’ve replaced so many of these. Track drive washers only shake for a handful of reasons and most of them end up being those plastic pieces or there’s actually one more sad that’s deeper in the machine but I will say I’ve only had to replace those that are super deep in the machine once. And it was on my personal machine that I had already replaced the easier to get to three plastic pieces.
My guy! I did this exact fix following your video (replaced the 4 springs in the bottom too). It went from shaking my house down like an earthquake to you barley notice it spinning. Honestly stunned how a few small parts can save my houses foundation and drywall seperating
THANK YOU !!!!!!! Excellent video.......almost went to buy a new cheap $600 washer.... then watched video.....all 3 wear pads gone except for those little nubs that were still in the holes..............thanks again!!!
Great call on these snubber pads! Our machine Wa s jumping all around and there the springs were all in place. I'm glad I happened to see your video as this solved our problem.
Excellent. I just repaired mine today. This video saved me plenty of head scratching and worry. It's running now, shaking is 20% perhaps of what it was.
By far you are good compared to all the other videos. Just one question my washer is amaña is missing one pad . Do you think that’s why it rattles to much. And second question the part number for the pads are all the same part number. Thank you.
Thank you so much! Another video suggested to disassemble the whole tub to replace those, the way you do it is MUCH simpler! I did it all alone by inserting a stick in the gap to keep it open while I'm changing the pad. Also to push the pad into place, I let the tip of my 3 feet crow bar sit on it and just used my weight on the bar to force it in, worked well! I had previously changed the 3 springs, the leveling spring behind the washer and the long one behind the motor, without much results. Changing the wear pads made a huge difference, I would never have thought that such a small visible wear was responsible for such bad vibrations.
Glad it helped. I have changed mine twice. They last several years but they wear out over time. There's also three more pads that are deeper in that machine That will wear out after you replace those pads a few times.
@@WasherDryerMoneyWhere are the other three? I am not familiar with them. I have changed the ones you show. In ga t I have one now that need them. It sound smoothly with no clothes in it but really shakes badly with clothes in it. The tub does not seem to really shake much at all when pushed down and released. I had not thought of the scrub pads.
Great instructional video. I was very hesitant to try and fix my washing machine since I have never attempted such endeavour before. It is way over my comfort level. I followed the instructions and ordered the parts, than step by step following the video and once done, held my breath and started up the washing machine. It worked, no wobble and no noise. It’s hard to believe that such little strip of plastic could make that kind of annoyance go away. Thanks
This is a good video and I definitely need to replace these parts, but maybe you can help with one more detail. Other sources point to the suspension springs, but don't indicate how to check to see if they're worn out or stretched. Is there a procedure for inspecting the springs? Do they fail before they actually break?
I ended up replacing springs and pads. It was significantly quieter, but still a bit wobbly. Time will tell if the improvement is long term or temporary. A month in, it's still quieter, I think it makes a little more noise than it did initially. It's also possible that it's being loaded less carefully and heavier...
Thank you for this. I learn so much from you. I am a fix it guy and tackle most everything. I make my own parts too. Wood, glass, plastic & metal. I am always in awe how much junk there is in our products today. Why is everything so cheap and fragile ? I hate it all. Cars soon will be drive in and get another. No fixes availabel. Its going to be a Walle Movie world !
Dude, thank you! I took the washer apart to clean it and thought I could calm the vibrations by putting on some feet (apparently the former homeowner didn't care to do it). Problem was it started shaking worse! I changed the springs and it came with these pads but I didn't think they'd make a big difference so I just changed the springs. Third time in the machine now and it's much better! It still vibrates a good bit but it doesn't walk towards me anymore so I count that as a win!
Ive had this issue before but it was because i loaded the machine wrong, man it will definitely get your attention when it starts jumping, i have a Kenmore 70 series that quit working 2 weeks ago,i took a look inside that tub and decided to restore it,the inside of yours looks better than mine did, lol,i have access to a sandblaster and a steam cleaner, anything i could sandblast and steam clean i did and repainted everything and bought a bunch of new parts, it looks really nice,i need to put it back together but i have a major case of laziness, i keep saying "next hour ill start" ha ha ha ha
Just a hint: I wish you would have held up to the camera the old pad & the new one so we could see how much worn the old ones were. Great show!👍 Very detailed & explained! I'll refer to your video when i install mine! Thanks as well for the zip-tie on the hose advice!
Thank you!!! I have an older Kenmore I just bought off a FB marketplace ad that is having the shaking/ walking issue- cannot wait to try this and see if it fixes it!
thank you soooooooooooo much, I have advanced MS and can't buy a new machine, But I was a tech and I'm good with my hands, well, now, only my right hand.
@@WasherDryerMoney It went well. Replaced the tension spring in the rear, put it back together so my wife could finish the clothes, no more banging. Plan on replacing the pads asap.
Well I guess that's my problem or at least part of it . I watched this video so I pulled it down as you suggested and put some grease on all of the pads . I assembled the machine and it was better so yea I order the pads and get it a try thanks
I have taken a recent interest in old appliances, namely washers and dryers. I have been watching as many RUclips videos as I can. I am not sure that i want to get into the game as far as you have but i haven't ruled it out yet. I have an older Almond Whirlpool set that my wife and I inherited from her parents. The washer went out on me 2 years ago and i just moved our washer into it's place. Last month, that washer went out on me and so i scrambled to find an inexpensive used washer. The older fella I purchased the washer from kinda duped me by rigging up the timer switch with a metal shim. Once we washed a comforter, it fell back and wasn't working. Long story short, the plastic tabs where it is screwed into the back of the panel had broken and he shimmed it with a long piece of metal. I have figured out a way to make it work. *knocks on wood* Well now I have my Whirlpool completely apart and I am in the process of doing a complete cleaning and refurbishing of the machine. My question is, is it worth it to be so thorough when people aren't going to see the insides anyways? I am very detail oriented, so when I see these used machines at flea markets etc., they are usually dirty and I always think to myself that they would probably get the price they are asking if they would take a little time to clean up the appliance. Anyways, I am waiting for a return call from a fella that has been recommended to me by a local parts shop. I would like to find someone to kind of shadow for a little while. I catch on fast. I am the type that learns quicker by having someone helpful to work with me. Any advice you have would be appreciated!
The Shane you're probably talk about is a direct-drive washer and they are a dream to work on. The new type of washer are what repair guys call pause/play because the gray button with a pause play symbol on it. These machines are horrible but are the most common machines out right now and as a refurbished sure you have got to learn how to fix them. As far as dryer go learn how to fix dryers with the filters that come out the top of the machine. These are extremely common and easy to work on. I use Rust-Oleum Appliance spray paint it's cheap and it looks amazing. One can can use my paint several machines. when it comes to making the most money on refurbished appliances there are three things you can do to add value. 1. Make them look great "clean and touch up paint" 2. Offer a free 30-day warranty. People will pay extra to know they are getting a good working machine. 3. Offer delivery. It's shocking how many people have no way of picking up a washer or dryer. They're either too old or do not have access to a truck. I charge $45 for delivery or free delivery if they have a broken washer or dryer to trade in.
well done video! going into the core of the diagnose and repair. great tips on what to look for and how to maneuver underneath the machine. One of the online parts stores had a video cracking the whole tub down to address the pads....ya no thanks.
@@WasherDryerMoney Can i get your professional opinion? I had to replace the tub support and drive tube. The original Kenmore tub support had two seals stacked on top of each other to make the seal and the replacement whirlpool tub support came supplied with only one to make the seal on top of the support. ive looked around various websites and it seems that its the update configuration. Will one seal for the top of the tub support be enough? I feel the paired set up will out perform just a single gasket.
Great instructive video! Thanks! Sure better than removing the whole drum and tub assembly! Question, my pads appear to be fine but maybe they need to be crowned? Mine are still pretty thick but might be flat and the washer is noisy on spin cycle.
I’ve replaced the suspension rods. Twice. Worked ok for a while. I tried the liquid nails fix. Worked ok for a while longer. Then I came up with a working solution. Pool noodles! Use the smaller diameter ones. Secure one in the middle of each side of the washer from the top down. They will fit a little snug if you have the right size. Duct tape worked well. Then put the lid back on and give it a shot. Initially an imbalanced load may vibrate a few times, but the noodles buffer the shock and the load will stabilize and spin just fine. Works with towels, sheets, clothes no blankets. Fully loaded loads. Problem solved for the cost of 4 pool needles, duct tape and about 30 minutes of your time. 😎
Interesting. One thing to check if your washer starts vibrating after you have replace the suspension rods is if the drum looks off centered while it slowly turns. There is a plastic piece that is very difficult to replace that’s underneath the inner drum. This will cause the suspension rods to quickly go bad. Cool idea with the pool noodles.
Great video with lots of good information! Do you not normally change the springs unless they are broken and how often have you seen the balance ring cause vibration & shaking on washers like these? Thank you!
Thank you very much for the info, couldn’t figure it out. Gotta a question would happen to know why the sensing light keeps flashing, won’t let use wash clothes. Any help would be appreciated.
Very helpful video, almost the same washer as my Roper. I got mine back together now it leaks so l think l didn't get the fill housing back in the right place. the little ears are partially broken off where they go thru the back sheet metal. Still shakes a little, the wear pads looked fine. any suggestions?
Hopefully there is not a crack where those plastic ears are on the drum. That’s very common for these type of washers to crack there. When these type of machines are still shaky, it could be that the platform it’s sitting on is not positioned right. You’ll see it slides between two plates and those plates need to be sat right. The leak could also be coming from the tub seal you could probably find a good video on how to replace that. good luck.
rickyrobbie, did you replace the pins in the skate plate? My plate slides around. Is it not supposed to do that? My pads appear to be fine but maybe not. Hard to tell without removing them.
This was a very well done video. I know it will be more challenging, but could this repair be done from the bottom? I am asking because last year I had to replace the springs and took the cabinet apart. In 20 minutes I was done..... then it took me two weeks to get the cabinet back together. It was by far the most difficult part of a DIY repair I have ever done and I have been doing them for 50 years. You could have added so much more information such as: "Folks- this is where the springs should be located" (one of mine broke) "While you have the cabinet opened, give the machine a good once over and check for any other damaged parts. The places to zero in are....." "While you have the cabinet opened, give the machine a good wipe down and cleaning" Not to be forgotten- give credit to the camera person or you would not have a video.
Sadly I do think you have to take the cabinet off to get to these parts. You may be able to do it but it will definitely be difficult. One thing to check while you have the cabinet also is the pressure hose that goes near the bottom of the washer. I always like to put a zip tie on it because if it comes off it will overflow the washer. I’m going to make a video soon on making the ultimate unbreakable washer. This will include that fix and how to beef up the lid switch so it never breaks. There’s also a heavy duty version of the clutch for this machine.
Well, I did take the cabinet apart and discovered that my pads were in perfect condition. Unfortunately, I did have a broken spring. I replaced the spring, put the zip tie on the hose that you suggested. Everything else was in good order. The cabinet went back together on the first try!! It seems that the bones of my 26-year-old washer are still in good condition!!
I just replaced the balance ring on mine, and it helped a lot, but there still a little vibration. This is probably my next step. Thanks for a great video.
@@WasherDryerMoney Thanks. I can get the 3 tub springs, the counter balance spring and the plastic pieces... all as a kit from Amazon for about 20 bucks. If I'm going to dig in that deep again, (my laundry room is really small), I may as well replace the whole shebang, so I won't have to deal with any of it down the road, at least for several years, I'd hope. I'll order the kit tomorrow.
Hi I'm trying to fix my maytag washer that won't spin, I replaced the clutch which kinda helped but it sometimes still won't spin unless I open the lid and give the tub a push I don't spin it I jst push the agitator back an forward a bit then it does spin. I can't figure out whats wrong and would greatly appreciate it if you could give me some ideas of what it might be thanks
Very good video, but I would warn people against cutting the dome tube, as the water level in the machine can very easily be changed by changing the volume of the empty tube.
My mom have the same washing machine it's leaking water I wanted replace the water pump but I don't know the part number it's also shaking I found a broken spring too also can you help me with the water pump part number???
Question the first pad you installed was made in China , was the cheap quality and I saw you had used sand paper. What about the second one and third one where those made from? Looks really nice snap in nicely. Please let us know where to get the first quality pads.
Sounds like a radical cam you might find on a nitro methane top fuel dragster too me. I'm going to try and do the same thing to mine and see what she can do. Maybe start with some oversized springs and bigger shocks some 220volts. You know hop her up a bit pressurize the water in , bigger faster drain hose
Great video! My 30 y/o washer is a GE WWA 8600 type, still works well, but is starting to slide around when on spin. I'm not sure if it uses the Whirlpool/Kenmore style wear pads. I spent a few hours online trying to research what dampening system it has, and am still not sure. I know I could handle the pad switch out shown in the video, but I'm not sure that's what I'll find inside. The Appliance Pt Pro link did have a model similar to mine, but couldn't tell from the schematics and no wear pads were listed under parts for that model. Still, I did learn a lot from your video.
Thank you for this video. I'll get a kit on Amazon and see if it fixes my issue. I just hope I don't need to dissasemble the whole thing to get to those 3 other suspension pads. My gearcase is also leaking oil and on top of that the machine has sprung a small water leak I suspect might be that fill tube or perhaps the main seal. Aaah the joys of being poor and handy!
@@WasherDryerMoney Thanks I'll look it up, but it seamed really dry. I pressure tested the system for leaks from the drain hose and its not leaking. (car meachanic here) I'll keep investigating, but I wonder if the fact of it being unbalanced/pads worn or broken makes water splash over the tub or something. I'll keep you posted if you want!
@@okkrom if it’s not leaking from the water pump, it could be the main seal for the drum. If the machine shakes too much, it can make the seal fail because it puts added pressure on the seal itself around the shaft runs through the center into the agitator. Take the metal case from around the drum and see where the water is coming from. Should be pretty easy to tell if it’s running around the motor and transmission it will be the main seal.
@@WasherDryerMoney Well, Taking it apart was a though fight! Since I didnt have the special wrench, I used a small vice to clamp the retainer nut and got it off with blows from a hammer. Fought with the porcelain tub, was almost welded to the shaft. Took the whole thing apart and found a lot of rust on the main shaft and the brake shaft is stuck inside the main shaft. Upper seal is visibly damaged. I think inner bearings are gone too. I think I won't pursue the adventure. Instead I'll embark on a new one! = Just found a MVWC200BW Maytag Centennial for free, owner says spin cycle wont engage. I figure it should be a pretty easy fix, hoping for the shift actuator, maybe lid switch. I figure those maytags have a troubleshooting mode and its a problem I can troubleshoot for free with a multimeter before I buy any parts. Thanks for your help!
My machine has been dancing for months and I was psyched to fix it after watching this video last week. I ordered a kit from Amazon that included the pads and four springs. A few days ago I heard a pop and now the tub is crooked. This morning, I took it apart and found that all of the springs were intact. The counterbalance spring had pulled through the metal of the chassis. Now what? Totally bummed!
Your comment was 3 years ago, but maybe this will help someone else. On another video a commenter had the same problem. Re-drilled the hole nearby on part of the frame that was still solid, and bought themselves a few more years.
I check my old whirpool washing machine and is exactly like yours but the problem is not the same look as if is inside ,i think is the clutch every time finish spinning the washer stop and move violently. .
I entered Old whirlpool, and got my machine! Noticed my tabs on the lower frame were bent. I had problems with this before. My pads are good. Could the shaft be bent from a serious overload?
I changed the suspension rods on my amane washer and it's still shaking bad the new suspension didn't make a difference. What else can it be. Its a pause /play amana
Do you have any videos of whripool top load washer the newer one s . about not draining. ? I was working on one to Day Checked the pump .do know what to look for .it's up my video today's video 👍 thanks
Those type of washers are a nightmare. Even when you get them running perfectly a lot of times they’ll just start a whole new problem. I’m getting a lot better at them but I will tell you 90% of the problems is the suspension rods and they shift actuator. Not draining I don’t see very often. There is a diagnostics mode that you can put the machine into and it will give you a good guess of what it thinks is wrong. Check out “Ben’s appliances in junks" video on diagnostics mode on that type of washer.
Great video!! Mine is shaking just like yours was. Checked skate plate and it appears to be aligned. Did a visual check on all 3 springs plus larger balance spring in back and they're all connected. This is about the last possibility to blame the shaking on! Do you agree? Tomorrow I'll pick pads at parts store. Sure hope they solve the problem
Yeah it would be my go-to move if a direct drive washer is shaking. You can get these pads on Amazon super cheap don't let a part store overcharge you if they're expensive.
I have an estate washer shaking and banging like crazy. I replaced all the springs and the pads ordered on Amazon. Put it all back together still out of balance what else could be the problem everything looked aligned as well the triangular metal piece was in place like it was supposed to be.. help me please.

Maybe worth a 4th time to replace the suspension pads: ruclips.net/video/mf-5k40Jmko/видео.html
Mines held together with zip ties now. Big money
Excellent video, I have found what I need to fix mine, well I hope I can do it. Thanks bro!!
We never finish learning different things thank you great video
Ive had this issue before but it was because i loaded the machine wrong, man it will definitely get your attention when it starts jumping, i have a Kenmore 70 series that quit working 2 weeks ago,i took a look inside that tub and decided to restore it,the inside of yours looks better than mine did, lol,i have access to a sandblaster and a steam cleaner, anything i could sandblast and steam clean i did and repainted everything and bought a bunch of new parts, it looks really nice,i need to put it back together but i have a major case of laziness, i keep saying "next hour ill start" ha ha ha ha
It's definitely best to keep the old machines going. The new ones are complete junk.
I can’t thank you enough. You saved me tons of money and al lot headache. Best regards from Brazil 🇧🇷
Glad to help
Great video. Watched it all the way through, even though I don't own that model of washer!
I appreciate that. Thanks
Great instructional video!
Thank you for sharing.
Just a hint: I wish you would have held up to the camera the old pad & the new one so we could see how much worn the old ones were. Great show!👍 Very detailed & explained! I'll refer to your video when i install mine! Thanks as well for the zip-tie on the hose advice!
Nothing like watching a video like this after you’ve just bought a new washer. Thanks RUclips algorithm.
Lol
Thank you!!! I have an older Kenmore I just bought off a FB marketplace ad that is having the shaking/ walking issue- cannot wait to try this and see if it fixes it!
thank you soooooooooooo much, I have advanced MS and can't buy a new machine, But I was a tech and I'm good with my hands, well, now, only my right hand.
Glad to help.
I replaced those bumpers 10 years ago, but I completely forgot how. Thanks for the video
Glad to help
Best video I've seen about taking apart a top load washer. I'll be taking mine apart this weekend, thanks.
Thanks. Good luck taking apart the machine
@@WasherDryerMoney It went well. Replaced the tension spring in the rear, put it back together so my wife could finish the clothes, no more banging. Plan on replacing the pads asap.
They run so much smoother after you replace the pads.
@@WasherDryerMoney Sounds good
Well I guess that's my problem or at least part of it . I watched this video so I pulled it down as you suggested and put some grease on all of the pads . I assembled the machine and it was better so yea I order the pads and get it a try thanks
Great video man!! This deserves 2 thumbs up
Thanks
Well l had to check in and you helped me fix my machine again!
Thank you, More and better info than even the Service and Parts guys.
Glad to help.
Thanks for the understandable instructions. I’m a do it yourself we. Will try.
Thanks!
Glad to help.
Great video, you walked me right through it easily... Thanks!!
Glad to help
1. Make them look great "clean and touch up paint"
Yeah you definitely don’t have to go that deep into the machine to replace those pads. Glad this video helped.
What a video, what a wonderful video keep up the good work
Great instructive video! Thanks! Sure better than removing the whole drum and tub assembly! Question, my pads appear to be fine but maybe they need to be crowned? Mine are still pretty thick but might be flat and the washer is noisy on spin cycle.
Great video brother!
@@frankquinta01 thanks
I'd like to see pictures of exactly how the pool noodles need to be placed to correct this issue.
Super video instruction!! Thank!
The leak could also be coming from the tub seal you could probably find a good video on how to replace that.
good luck.
that was nice thanks,,, I was actually looking for supention rods but this was intresting
Glad you liked it!
Great video! While mine isn't the wear pads it definitely helped me. I guess the pins fell out of the skate plate and my drum was all over the place.
rickyrobbie, did you replace the pins in the skate plate? My plate slides around. Is it not supposed to do that? My pads appear to be fine but maybe not. Hard to tell without removing them.
@@kirkglundal4289 the pins turned out to be shipping pins that the previous owners never took out. Have you moved it recently?
I see at 9:42 of your video the spring bracket appears to be pretty close to worn thru.
You could have added so much more information such as:
"Folks- this is where the springs should be located" (one of mine broke)
"While you have the cabinet opened, give the machine a good once over and check for any other damaged parts. The places to zero in are....."
"While you have the cabinet opened, give the machine a good wipe down and cleaning"
Not to be forgotten- give credit to the camera person or you would not have a video.
Excellent video. Great details. Thank you.
Glad to help
I just replaced the balance ring on mine, and it helped a lot, but there still a little vibration. This is probably my next step. Thanks for a great video.
You’ll be shocked how much smoother A machine will run after you replace these little pieces of plastic.
Damn! That was a great video It was straight to the point and very informative. Great job my man
Glad to help
Very helpful hints. Thanks
Thanks for what you've done
Glad to help
Very clear, can you do that with Fisher&paykel , thanks 😊
The most common water leak in these type of machines is the water pump. Usually pretty easy job.
Lord I hope this is as easy as you make it seem. Seen another video where they had to take apart everything 😢😢😢
Got an admiral the one with the pushbutton pause cancel. How is that different from this?
I check my old whirpool washing machine and is exactly like yours but the problem is not the same look as if is inside ,i think is the clutch every time finish spinning the washer stop and move violently. .
Nice video. I could not find the Pads alone, Amazon shows pads and springs as a kit. Do you have a art # just for the Pads?
285744
I like the way you hooked the drain hose what did you use ?
My brother has a carpet cleaning business he gave me extra vacuum hose.
Thanks a lot for your sharing.
Glad to help
I entered Old whirlpool, and got my machine! Noticed my tabs on the lower frame were bent. I had problems with this before. My pads are good. Could the shaft be bent from a serious overload?
Not sure. Hard to say without looking at the machine.
What the name of that parts that you put.can you please need the part or name.thank you very much.appreciate
Does it work for a 5 year old whirlpool washer? The components underneath my washer looks totally different.
My washer is banging against the sides on spin cycle, all springs look ok, could this be a fix for that as well?
I changed the springs but not the pads. Still banging, will change pads and see what happens.
so does the push start button matter? I have a Roper with a push button...
Great video!
Thanks
Great video I'm going to replace mine
Glad to help
I changed the suspension rods on my amane washer and it's still shaking bad the new suspension didn't make a difference. What else can it be. Its a pause /play amana
Great video!!
If those pads look good what wld u look at next? Do those springs go bad?
O i c!! The pads may not appear broke just flat..
Again awesome video helped me out A LOT!
Yeah exactly sometimes those pads will just be slightly worn and make the machine shake.
You can get these pads on Amazon super cheap don't let a part store overcharge you if they're expensive.
y not replace the rusty springs, besides the tabs ,while ur there, or they are life time springs? you think
I have an estate washer shaking and banging like crazy. I replaced all the springs and the pads ordered on Amazon. Put it all back together still out of balance what else could be the problem everything looked aligned as well the triangular metal piece was in place like it was supposed to be.. help me please.
I love the Trump/ China reference! 😂
Lol
yeah, I found it funny too, but Ironic, since Many of trump's products are made in China. But I'm not here to start anything, just citing the facts.
It's funny and ironic that almost all of America's products are made in China, not just Trumps.
I checked my pads and they will still on there and looked in good condition. I did notice a band or belt or gasket around the transmission
New holes are always better lol 😂
I never get simple machines like this ugh 😩😫 lol 😆
The drum in my washing machine is slamming against the panels now. I’m assuming maybe the springs must be blown out.
