I've watched a few similar videos but like this one the best. The speaker addressed the issues, one by one, clearly without any unnecessary words. He was to the point, there was no 'umming and you know, like'. He spoke well and just gave us the facts, one after another. Great presentation; thank you very much.
Thanks for the video and suggested fixes. Had excessive vibrations and honestly was considering new washer/dryer. So in the video some of the suggestions were beyond my abilities to do so I picked the simplest one to do which was leveling. Did't know that the rear supports were self leveling, check the fron there were ok, picked up the rear of the washer and the levelers immediately fell down and when I put the washer down, everything was level. Tried a load of work jeans and very little vibration during the rinse cycle......so thanks to a simple fix per your suggestion saved me a bunch of money.....thanks!!!!!!!!
Great information. We all appreciate the free knowledge and thoroughness and will be supporting that by purchasing our parts through your site as well as referring this channel. Thanks again!
Would it be possible for you to include more videos that show washing machines doing different things? Walking across the floor or like you pressed on the middle of the tub see if it bounced back excetera hope that makes sense
I've replaced about everything imaginable on my bravos and it still walks in spin cycle. I was excited to hear you talk about a balancing ring replacement. Gosh dang it all! My model doesn't have one. Parts place wants 350 for a new basket. Ridiculous!
I've checked out your video, however when you spoke about the rods & strap "if you press down on the basket, it should have 1 good bounce" my machine is doing this as it's suppose to. So what then should I check?
Reason #9 of 8: corroded/cracked drum mounting hub. To replace: Detach the top lid and pop the door switch off. Pull up the agitator (site need to be unscrewed). You will need a brush to clean and inspect the hub. Wiggle the drum, check for crack. The retaining nut is left-threaded, aluminum and 1-11/16in. Will need to order a special wrench (or spare nut if you are drilling/chiseling it. Still need the wrench to tighten. Happy Fixing!
Hi Thank you for your great detailed information and so informative with Quick precise answers across multiple platforms of manufacturers. So on that note my question for you for my washering machine: Whirlpool MOD LSQ9560PW2 SER CS1311919 You mentioned that the bouncer ring has liquid in it to help with counter balance. How much liquid does it have in it, if you have a ever so simply, quick and easy repair on the tub balance ring. Then to just add the right amount of fluid back into it and seal it at that point. I'm assuming it's just water and maybe an additive. How much Fluid is required to put back in it? But if that is a question you're unable to answer can you answer this question then? How much does a fully sealed new one Or non damage one weigh and then I can figure it out from there. I have a : Whirlpool MOD LSQ9560PW2 SER CS1311919 I like to thank you in advance Answer and a long list the knowledge that you have already provided with throughout your channel and content. @Raylan Trace Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm trying it out atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Great video. I believe all these parts are fine on my machine. Mine will vibrate and move occasionally when doing cotton towels that some how occasionally get off center and when it goes to spin if goes into a self destruct (my term) mode where it vibrates so violently it moves the machine. Again only happen when doing towels and only on occasion. I feel like this would happen regardless on any machine, I devised a clever way of solving this I tied a string to the back of the unit into the plug, so that when it vibrates in this mode It will automatically pull the plug out of the wall, I can then re-balance and everything works great. This is no big deal because it doesn’t happen very often but it’s a good safety device. I’m quite surprised that the manufactures don’t have some kind of sensing technology to turn machines off when they get into this situation, mine will literally move across the floor and continue running happy as a clam if left like this. Now the string will turn it off in the first 10 seconds.
Would bad suspension rods cause the washer to leak from underneath? A repairman just said that’s why mine leaked because the water sloshed over the tub… is he correct? I’m so afraid of water leaks since washer is on second floor!
Hello I have a roper washing machine that was shaking very bad and so I checked level and it is also checked load and no matter what I do it still shakes, I ordered the replacement suspension rods kit and installed but it still shakes what could be the problem now ? Thanks
I have a whirlpool cabrio WTW6340WW0 Whirlpool Washer that vibrates really bad during low speed spin cycle. I have replaced the suspension rods, leveled the washer, pulled the drum, no noise coming from drum shaft or play from shaft, checked motor bolt for tightness .it seems like its missing more suspension parts on the bottom drum. any thoughts on what else I can check.
Thanks for making this video so clear and easy to understand! Videos like these give me the confidence to check out this stuff rather than shell out $$$ to some smelly old man who won’t even fix it right and tracks dirt into my house.
So true, I had some old appliance guy come out to my house today to look at my washer that is out of balance. He poked around for 10 minutes, took nothing apart, and said, I think one of the tub mounts is bent and you need to buy a new machine. Then gave me a bill for $105. Utterly useless waste of space
@@logdon17 had 2 repair guys come out for an under warranty Speed Queen AFNE9BSP113TW01 front loader that violently shakes during the beginning of the spin cycle and actually fell down from the pedestal causing damage to the washer and cabinet it fell into. First guy just visually inspected unit and called his boss but nothing was removed to check like this video shows. Second repair guy came out (had to wait 2 1/2 weeks to get him out after first guy couldn’t find out the reason for the shaking) who was the lead technician and the guy the first repair guy called. He did even less than the first guy and tried to blame it on the pedestal saying since it’s not an official Speed Queen pedestal that Speed Queen would likely not honor a warranty replacement. I had him take it off the pedestal onto the tile floor and ran the 10 minute spin cycle. 2 minutes into it is when it starts shaking and even on the level tile floor it moves a good 3-4 inches. Then he said well maybe getting a rubber mat and rubber pads for the feet (it already has rubber feet). He was supposed to contact Speed Queen back on May 10th and I’ve been hounding them for an answer and then they told me the technician needs to return as they have to be there on the premises where the washing machine is to call Speed Queen. Problem is the guy isn’t scheduled to come back until June 9th (a full month after he was there), and he should have known on May 10th that he should have called Speed Queen at that time instead of wasting another months time. In another incident feature the same exact washer in another property, the same thing happened yesterday May 23rd, where I found the washer face down on the floor after it walked off and fell off the pedestal, cracking a cabinet door. What are the odds 2 of the same model washing machines have the same problem within a month of each other and these washers were bought around the same time 4 years ago.
are these new top load washers supposed to vibrate and shake during the spin cycle at all, because we just went through returning two samsung washers doing this and then settled on a GE and it's doing the same thing smh
Working on exactly that model. You have the rod suspensions. The long ones. Shock absorbers are for front load. You can google your model # and look at parts diagrams to see what you need.

If you have replaced the suspension rods, W10780045, and you are still having the same issue you will need to double check the installation. Make sure they are all seated properly. Check the leveling legs for damage, make sure the unit is not overloaded, and make sure it's level. If you have any more issues or questions, you can call us at 1-877-477-7278.
