  • Chicken lollipop - Drums of heaven: A Spicy and Savory Delight
    Indulge in the flavorful and crispy Chicken Lollipop, marinated to perfection and tossed in a spicy sauce, perfect for a snack or main course.
    Recipe:
    For Marination:
    Chicken Drumsticks: 1 kg
    Soya Sauce: 2 tbsp
    Chilly Sauce: 1 tbsp
    Vinegar: 1 tbsp
    Tomato Sauce: 1 tbsp
    Red Chilli Powder: 1 tsp
    For Coating:
    Maida (All-Purpose Flour): 3 tbsp
    Cornstarch: 2 tbsp
    Egg: 1
    For Sauce:
    Oil: 3 tbsp
    Ginger: 1 tsp
    Garlic: 1 tsp
    Green Chilies: 1 tsp
    Onion: 3 tbsp
    Schezwan Chutney: 2 tbsp
    Vinegar: 1 tbsp
    Soya Sauce: 1 tbsp
    Tomato Sauce: 2 tbsp
    Sugar: 1 tbsp
    Salt: to taste
    Corn Flour Mixture: 2 tbsp (mixed with water)
    Food Color: a pinch (mixed with water)
    Water: 1 cup
    Garnish:
    Coriander Leaves: chopped
    Preparation-
    Marinate 1kg chicken drumsticks in a mixture of soya sauce, chilly sauce, vinegar, tomato sauce, and red chili powder for 30 minutes. Then, coat with a mixture of maida, cornstarch, and egg, and deep-fry until golden brown.
    Savory Sauce-
    Sauté ginger, garlic, green chilies, and onions in oil, then add Schezwan Chutney, vinegar, soya sauce, tomato sauce, sugar, and salt. Thicken with corn flour mixture and food color, and finish with 1 cup water.
    Assembly-
    Toss fried chicken drumsticks in the savory sauce and garnish with coriander leaves.
    Tips-
    Adjust marination time for better flavor.
    Use Schezwan Chutney for an authentic flavor.
    Serve with steamed vegetables or rice.
