No Hamilton or Senna or Schumi was immediately quick, everyone has to put the time, effort, practice, laps in. I do league racing in f1 an even though, I am by no means fast or even any good, I practice and season by season I see myself getting better. Believe me, we have a saying in German which roughly translates to "There has never been a master, who fell from the sky" I'm sure there is some equivalent in english but it basically means what I have just said before. Deladda might have been competetive in f4, f3, etc. even if he presumably has no talent, if he did not start his racing career at the same age other peoples f1 careers are already almost over.

It’s a disgrace that Deledda is going to F2 while Logan Sargent won’t have a seat in F2 this year after losing the championship in the last race, not even due to his own fault.
He is just embarrassing himself why doesn’t he just go and do some GT3 racing or something with an older slower teammate so he looks a bit better at least

People driving same series have been driving 16-18 years experience vs his zero. The fact he has the balls to get in a car and trying is encouragement.

Deledda really earned points in the Euroformula Open in 2019! but it was the winter series... and there were only 10 starters in total. so technically everyone got points even if they retired. The only driver that actually managed so be slower than Deledda was Nicolai Kjaergaard. And billy monger when he retired from race 1. Deledda finished consistently over 1 minute behind the leaders. in a 13 lap race
I personally think there should be more strict licences,so drivers with only money and no talent wont come to f1 or even f2 (cries in Mazepin and Stroll)

And for some reason they still let him start. Idk why because he was the only lapped car in the race 😀
