I'm with Booker, whether CM Punk was justified in being angry, what's the point of airing out dirty laundry? Did I need to know that Colt Cabana was sharing a bank account with his mother? He didn't want to solve the problem, he wanted to humiliate all of them and to satisfy his own ego. I'll never understand people like that.

He never thinks he does anything to deserve any type of perceived poor treatment, this goes back to before WWE. He's like the friend that always says "man you'll never believe what happened to me today." If chaos always follows him, then maybe he's the cause of it.

When Roman calls himself the top draw its a work that creates entertaining television. When punk does it as a shoot it hurts the television production due to backstage drama

My issue is that Punk buried the world title in the process. He had just won a title that says he's the best wrestler in the world, but he would rather go out there and talk about backstage drama. Imagine winning an Olympic gold medal and then using your first interview to complain about how much you hate some of your teammates.
Titles don’t matter in aew, every body has one and every three months a new one is introduced while a new ex wwe guy comes in to get it. But you are definitely right.

To be honest, Punk did mention he was lowering himself to Adam Page's level on doing this publicly and it is a disgrace for pro wrestling, he did say that in that scrum. But he knows he had to answer publicly to the same bullshit accusations both Adam and the Bucks did publicly. So... I think here there are only people that hate CM Punk doing the noise always wanted since he came back.
I agree with Booker. Sometimes you don't need to get down to his level, instead get him up to your level. That's maturity and wisdom.

Except the Bucks didn't make any public accusations. Everything they did was on the DL. Punk has always been a hothead. Part of what got him to where he is was his willingness to say whatever the hell is on his mind, but he's old enough that he should have been able to show some restraint.

And I am not the biggest CM punk fan but I do sympathize with him because there have been reports for a while now that the EVP‘s and Adam page have run people off and they do go to Dave Meltzer to give a one sided spin on stories but everyone they’ve done that to wasn’t a star of the level of CM punk. I agree CM punk acted unprofessionally but there is way too many people that are focusing on that and not acknowledging that Adam page went into business for himself first on live TV, and the other three were running to Dave with the rumors. If we’re going to get on Punk for defending himself unprofessionally then people need to get on the other four for starting this unprofessionally.
Not only that but the other three guys are executive vice president of a company. It would be like someone that works in a 9 to 5 job in their office who is just an employee and you have three vice president come and kick your door in looking for a fight. And any other walk of life besides the pro wrestling world that employee would sue the ever living shit out of that company and those EVP’s.
In all reality punk probably should’ve gotten in the locker room with Tony and those three and this should’ve been talked out but also in all reality this is kind of Tony’s fault for letting it ever get this far. If you wanna start a wrestling company up that’s fine but if you’re just going to give guys top positions then you don’t need to make them EVP‘s as well. He’ll forget top positions you don’t need to give any active wrestlers on the roster an EVP position.
If you want some experience help do you want former pro wrestlers or managers or bookers or whatever to help you out that are no longer actively on screen talent that’s fine. You’ve got Mark Henry, you’ve got Arn Anderson, there are other people in the wrestling world like DDP , Ricky Morton , Jake Roberts, Tom Prichard, Ron Simmons, There are so many retired guys out there right now that you could look to for help like that. True you do kind of have to stay with the guys that aren’t under a WWE legends contract but there’s hundreds of those guys out there. The ratings tonight for dynamite will be good because of this but it’s not going to be something that carries over to other shows so that’s the only good thing coming from this. Everything else really makes AEW look extremely bad right now

Kayfabe has been dead since the rise of the internet in the late 90s. WCW/nWo and ECW ushered in a new style which the Attitude Era adopted - controversy and shock value. That has been the formula for successful pro-wrestling TV for over 25 years now. This drama is keeping AEW relevant in a time where WWE is prospering again, its a good thing for AEW, that's why Khan is letting it play out publicly.

Just look at that statement. CM Punk goes looks to diminish the all the hard work of everyone in AEW, especially the EVPs, have done to get AEW to this point. He's literally saying, "It's all me."
Booker T is right to have a problem with that and saying that out loud even if you truly feel that way. You don't need to say it. You're going to push even more people away from you. CM Punk has no self awareness which is why he'll never be a Messiah but a pariah.

The only weird thing I noticed as of dynamite airing is how did Hangman come out of this untouched. I guessing he was smart and not part of the scrum after the media scrum too. Just my thoughts that’s all. I can see both sides since all this happened and my assumption of what was to come is true to that if anything Tony has to punish both sides of the story to set a standard for the future. And I’m sure CM knew how nice Tony was so he could say all that I’m the scrum and not be stopped. Sorry end of my rant. After all of this it def should of been handled differently in hindsight
He lucked out by not being part of the scrum so he left and wasn't around when the ruckus broke out. I know he brought up Hangman and dropped the empty-headed dumbfuck line on him but to me this was aimed at the EVPs using some of the idiots in the media who were present & that's why he went where he went. I don't watch wrestling as much as did as a child. I've watch about 7-10 videos on this matter in the last day or so.... it's great for buisness!! Blur the lines. Give us raw emotion and mold it into a product. Hangman's promo was great and I don't know or give a damn what it was about. Cm punks rant was great, I don't know or care what it was about. Last time I cared about wrestling was when cm punk ranted about the wwe and I thought it was real. When I was a kid, I sorta thought it was real or at least aspects of it and that's when I was hooked. THIS IS AMAZING AND IM HERE FOR IT!!!!!!!!
