Can you imagine these guys running up guys like Booker T, Stevie Ray, the Steiners, Ron Simmons, Butch Reed, Arn, Windham, etc., back in the day? According to some, the worst locker room/backstage incident in wrestling history involved one of allegedly the toughest guys in the business, and he unfortunately died. From a professional standpoint, this is an embarrassment to AEW and lame as basic adult behavior.

From what I understand the kicking the door down part likely isn't true. The Bucks apparently had the head of legal and the head of talent relations with them, when they went to have a word with Punk. Those aren't the kinds of people you take with you, if you are looking for a fight.

The only thing we know as 100% fact is the Tony Khan was not consulted before the confrontation. So if any other high ranking AEW officials went with the EVPs, they should also be fired. Totally unacceptable behavior.

Also CM Punk seems like a person who can not let a dispute go. When he heard Scot Colton's name it was like a trigger. What was already going too far just escalated and he lost it. I get what happened between them was a big deal with legal involvement but if he can't let what Hangman said in a promo (which was part of a story, so not really being said for real, if that makes sence), go over his head or put it behind him and move on that's not a good sign. Especially if he's ment to be and sees himself as a locker room leader. How are younger guys and girls ment to take that and who know when his next grudge will boil up and over. He needs to grow up be an adult and move on with his life. He could help make AEW the best, but his ego looks like it could ruin it all. The best in the world would rise above all that crap and not air their laundry so publicly.

The issue with cabana is that from what punk was saying the evps along with Page been spreading rumors that punk helped to get cabana fired and moved to roh and despite even Tony khan saying punk wasn't involved the media ran with it like it was true. Basically he felt like he was getting slandered and probably saw this as an opportunity to defend himself albeit definitely took it too far and beyond. As he said he hasn't cared about cabana since like 2013 or 2014. Just him constantly getting asked and bothered by it and now the rumors about something handled long ago basically boiled him over.
