One of the most important pieces of information in this video is to spam Chain Lighting. I followed several guides while leveling and they both stressed to not run out of mana while casting CL. Consequently, I severely handicapped my dps and struggled in H5 until I just started spamming CL and my dps doubled. Thanks for the guide.
i have been playing something similar to this, run andarials for the help, the poising dps and the life on hit fixes your mana and ops the other affix slots. Im going to try to add in some crackling energy bombs and run the affix that gives you a change to summon lightning spears off of cracking energy and see how that goes. the down side is that i have to take off starless or talrasha to open a ring slot for the mana aspect needed. both give massive dps bumps
Wouldn't Andariel's visage be better for the life on hit with starlight? That combo with starless skies would basically give you infinite mana plus the bonus damage from poison Nova.
its a different build which opens you to one shots from everything because it’s much more squishy. also you need to switch to vulnerable and fists of fate to scale andariel damage. then you need to replace boots to fix armor cap. Its very different

It isn't. But Ragegamingvideos has the best Esadora's Cameo build around. It's ABSURDLY hard to gear, but if you can do it - more power to it. I did try Esadora's and it was fun...but not powerful. At least to me. Goldfarminguide has the best necklace by FAR that I've seen. Blows Esadora's Cameo out of the water.
Great build! I'm switching to this from lightning spear. Have you considered Andariel's instead of Harlequin? Life on hit with Starlight will give a lot of mana.

Having a tough time deciding between using the Andy’s that I have to use with chain lightning or salvage it for my 4th spark and get shako and run frozen orb/lightning spear not sure what to do lol. Any suggestions would greatly help if you had to make the choice. I’m trying to get into tier 7 hordes to farm and be able to solo tormented bosses for better drops.
If you want to use Andy's I'd suggest making a rogue. I have Andy rogue and a frozen orb/lightning spear sorc and they both do T8 and tormented bosses with just decent gear.

@@billyrickett8392 You could level a rogue in the hordes and get another spark from the season quests that way. If you ask around and have someone power level you through the capstone dungeons and a few tier 3 that you can survive in to level, won't take but a couple hours.
Trying to figure out where you're getting that CD reduction on hit? I run CL/Andariel's right now and I see other builds get those CD reduction on, like, crit, but I'm not sure where you guys are getting that at.
For me personally the orb build does the most damage and farm ability on T8. I'm using your tankish/orb build. I'm able to farm 1000+ aether on T8 and have no fear of dying. I made some tweaks to my gear and literally nothing can spawn on a T8. 95% of the things are dead before they hit the ground. Thanks for the guides.
@@joewoodjoewood I'm at 115 life on hit but can't keep up 5-8 chain lightnings like he's doing against the council. I even tried adding 5 ranks of warmth to no avail. I can maintain 3-5, any more and they all break from lack of mana. Not sure what I'm doing wrong
@@Searching4Reason resource cost reduction is not important for this build. Max resource and resource generation is. Resource cost reduction does not reduce the drain of axial conduit.
@@GoldfarmingGuide its not that easy to find 2GA items with decents stats let alone a few of them. You need to be extremely lucky. All it gives is impairment reduction and life per second GA
INT is king for this build. I run Staff of Liam Neeson on this with at least at least max on INT. Thats starts you at like 580 Int on the Staff. Big difference with damage.
that is one of the worst things I ever heard :D You basically sacrifize about 150% of your damage by playing a "random" staff just to gain ~30% damage for the extra int ;) INT is basically king for no build. Int is your very weakest damage modifier being far less important than for example crit damage or legendary aspects with damage multipliers. Going from ~1500 to 2000 int basically gives you like 33%[x] damage. Putting a storm swell on a 2 handed staff gives you 60%[x] already. That being said your regular staff with your storm swell also can have 400 int on it, so Playing Lam Esen literally for just the int is a very very very bad decision

Can i ask why ranking CL is necessary when the actual damage is coming from the axial condult pants and not CL itself? Its the same reason why you dont level up lightning spear for a lightning spear build since the damage is coming from the aspect.

This is a diablo 4 issue in general - its the same reason why you dont rank up wind shear on a wind shear build, blizzard on an ice spike build and lightning spear on a lightning spear build, the skill itself doesnt contribute or scale the aspect or effect which was why i was wondering why youd need to rank CL at all and just slap on skill points elsewhere.
its a big damage and survivabilty loss if you play it with crit dmg. plus you will miss armor cap. Also with andy you have to scale vuln damage instead if crit and then play without esus to fix armor, so it’s a very different build
well this build is just not good .. even with perfect gear u cant spam your main skill..spamming chain lightning is bad cuz they dont get their full dmg of if they explode early .. lighning spear is much earier to put together with better dmg and all u really need is unique amulet .. i started chain ligtning and build was just too frustrating .. if they add horde 9 and 10 dont think this can even clear it efficently.. also andariel is way better here

You need the end game items to get that much gold, but you keep saying just do end game stuff to get the gold....you needed a 4 man group with all pro players....why do you think solo players can just do it?
it is absolutely nothing in current meta. its selling 35 malignant hearts or 20 exquisite blood, 20 duriel eggs 100 living steel, etc. So its really not more than 2 hours of farming, or the loot if a single helltide
You can swap the shako with andariels and use doombringer for the wand instead for the damage reduction if needed. You will lose cdr, yes, but you will never run out of mana,

Just swapped to this and its pretty amazing! I had to switch the shimmering ice armor though since I don't have enough CD reduction yet.

I just recently started using the Staff of Lam Esen. My Resource Reduction is 70%, not fully upgraded yet, and sadly, no GA's on it either.

that's around 5-7 horde runs on tier 8.
500M is really nothing thes days. Sell any 2GA item with decent stats is 2-3B already

I was chain lightning and respec to firball. But at t7+ it feels little weaker. I think i go this build tomorrow :).

Why not use andariel for the life on hit perk?

just sell summoning mats. you dont need any group whatsoever. Farming 1 hour of helltide is currently rougly 1B gold...
