I've been having bonfires and when the embers are hot and I'm ready to go in I take my potatoes and sweet potatoes and pop them in some foil and throw them on for 20 minutes and I have delicious potatoes for a midnight snack and for a day or two after..... looks so cozy and delish!!! Rufus and his paw reminded me of a cat we had when I was a kid. He injured one of his paws, and was getting lots of sympathy until we realized he wasn't limping on the right paw all the time 🤣

There's a saying in the Midlands when there are rain clouds anywhere in the distance: "It's a bit black over Bill's Mother's' " referring to William Shakespear's mother's home - presumably it's not over that house, that she didn't live in, that all those Brummies are referring to!
I have taken classes to Mary Arden's Tudor farm several times. The house is lovely and there is another house on site that was Mary Arden's but it had been renovated in the Victorian times so not in its original condition x
