LEVEL 2 FINGER PICKING FOR HOTEL CALIFORNIA FOR UKULELE BEGINNERS. In Key of C

This is a basic guide video for beginners who want to start learning how to finger pick on their ukulele.
Here we use the picking pattern Thumb (T), Index finger (I) and Middle finger (M) then back to Index finger (I) in that order over the song Hotel California.
T will play the 3rd string (C), I will play 2nd string (E), M will play 1st (A) and I will play 2nd (E) then you start the pattern again. The tempo is approximately 75 bpm.
TIPS:
1. Get familiar with the pattern at a slower comfortable speed before you start playing along with the video then gradually speed up until you can comfortably play along with the video.
2. Start with your thumb.
3. Count in lots of 4 to help you coordinate your fingers with the strings you have to play.
4. Learn the chord shapes and get used to the changes from one chord to the next.
Remember this is only an exercise to help get your fingers ready for more finger picking on other songs.
