- The long awaited Lego Star Wars the Battle of Utapau is finally here! This is the biggest movie that i have ever made (so far) and am proud of it. My first movie with CGI in it. This video took me all summer to make. Watch all of the way to the end :)

Man, what a classic this stop motion is. Used to watch it all the time as a kid, still love it :D
Yeah all of these stop motions from the 2010s and 2000s are so nostalgic.

Same here. I was like 10 when I watched this and I’m nearly 20
2007-2011 were the best times for Lego stop motion. You had people like pizzamovies, fancy pants, Taylor place productions, JoeJoeChris014, fliplit. People like that really made the Lego stop motion community. Most of them are gone, their videos claimed by Coppyright.

Toad 1000 Nostalgia blinds us, A new generation will come soon. They're young now. We sometimes like the simple animation style rather then the 24 FPS animations the big guys use.

Cinema ‘Splode Films the Jedi have indeed returned, I have made a part 6 of the 501st legion on my channel and a part 7 will be done very soon and more episodes will be on there way to finish what Pizzamovies started

I watched this 10 years ago and I'm still impressed with the quality of the video. This must have taken 25-50+ hours to set up, take pictures, move figures and then to edit and animate.
Maybe morethan 50 jours to make 100h i think 😆
@@ericsbricks6199 as an animator myself, this wouldn’t have taken 100 hours. For the time this was made it would have taken 30-60 hours to create

That was awesome! I lived how you recreated the scene were the airborne clone is tending to another, and 1 clone got gunned down, and another one came flying in. I also liked how you made the scene when the trooper ran up to the crab droid and shot its head! Very nice!
The Phase 2 clones with a black head and a helmet with a hole to see the head behind it were my favourite ☺️

Ki-Adi-Mundi had white clones with a red clone commander (with chain gun), Anakin had blue clones the whole way through, where as Obi Wan had orange clones led by Commander Cody.
I liked that the clone said yay we did it

I agree with you but at least give him credit for making the bodies on the phase II troops look like the 212th battalion troops.
Well, I personally would reccomend making some sort of infiltration movie if you want to be a brickfilmer.
Also, clever camera work disguises all. Only have about 5 normal clones, but through clever camera usage I can make it seem like an army.
Wow I didn’t remember seeing this until I saw grievous with skeleton legs. Memories....

@legoSWproductions Thanks for your opinion :) My little brother said almost the same thing. From 0:20 to 0:29, from 3:00 to 3:13 and a couple other short scenes were made at the beginning of the summer and i took a break after that to learn how to animate better. almost the rest of it was made at the end of the summer and my animation had drasticly improved by then.
