- Brandon brings his 2018 Kawasaki Teryx into the shop and we install Super ATV front and rear High clearance a arms and a super atv 2" bracket lift.
Brandon also got 31" BKTs on 16 " Fuel Wheels.
We show you how to install the kits and then show a sneak peak of the performance gains.
Feel free to share, comment and subscribe.
Thanks yall and God Bless
Great video that Teryx just got sweeter that’s one heck of a side x side yea disconnecting that sway bar let you move a lil more instead of being so stiff. It’s amazing how much better you feel when you go to Church. Y’all have a blessed day
Yes sir it performs much better.
And yea man that's where all of us guys involved with LC Powersports came together was at church.. our faith and love for Jesus far exceeds our passion for the Powersports world... and yall know we love our Powersports lol.
Yeah buddy!!!! Mud ready now! Love me some Kawi.. Can't wait to see their sport sxs..
Heck yea man!!! I bet it will be a solid unit
Looking at a 2021 right now, this would really make it look sharp.
Oh yeah man I loved it after I did this to it!
Awesome vid guys! And about time the Speed Demon made a guest appearance! 😂
I'm ready to see more ride videos of this rig.
We are too lol!!
We hope to get some rides soon!!
Looks great
Thanks!
The Blue Rex 💪
Thanks
Great video! I’m planning on doing something like this but wasn’t sure I could do the 2 inch lift and extend the arms.
After riding it, is there a need to change the stock
Shocks and axles??? Anything else that you didn’t include in the video? Greatly appreciate. If it isn’t to much to ask can you share the link to the parts???
Thanks!
Yes you can do the 2 inch lift and the a arms. The ride quality didn't change to much as I loosened the shocks but its not great. Every thing held up great. As far as the parts go you can go to super atv and just get the 2 inch lift and the foward arms. You can use the stock ball joints if they are good but you do have to press them out and press them in the new arms.
Nice Rig 👍 looks awesome! Did you guy's have any problems with axles after using This set up??
No problems at all so far...
I have the same machine. Just ordered the SATV arched A arms front and rear. I do not want to add a bracket lift. Any idea if a 30” SATV intimidator would fit with only A arms? On stock LE 14” rims??? Any help would be great!! Thanks
Im not sure on that one it would probably be close!
Hell yeah brother awesome video!
Thanks man!
I have the same teryx
They are good machines!
did you put a clutch kit in the teryx, if so what kit did you go with.
No clutch kit and so far the Rex is performing great with the stock clutches.
LC Powersports Without a clutch kit could it break the rear end loose in a curve under full acceleration?
Did you use both steering stops for the lift and a arm kit
I actually didn't use any stops and no problems at all.
How did you like the sway bar being disconnected?
Brandon said that he could tell a big difference with the sway bar off.. the front end obviously loosened way up and articulated really well on the trails.
Cool video, I haven’t made it out to Copiah this year, yet. How was it?
It was in really good condition.. but it was opening weekend and super crowded
I’m sure I seen y’all last year
What did it make the total height at? I'm wanting to do something like this but I'm afraid Ill only be able to do the A Arms and not the lift as well because I want to be able to continue to keep it in my garage. Not sure if it will clear or not. Thanks :)
We will get the total hight of it asap!!
I noticed you pulled the motohavoks off the xmr max. Did you not like them?
I did like them for what they are designed for.. but these xt300s are 10" wide and are so much more stable and trail ride extremely well. I'll have a video on this exact topic uploaded tomorrow or Wednesday
After installing the 31 did you have to upgrade/modify the clutch?
We didn't but it would help alot for thick mud!
I recently did the same modification to my Teryx as well but I'm having a hard time adjusting the camber on the front. Any suggestions that may help? And great video also!
We will look into that.. what tires are u running? We had to adjust the toe-in some.
@@LCPowersports I'm running the 32" Moto Havoc tires.
@@steeboone4475 and it's your front camber that's out of adjustment and not your toe-in/out
@@LCPowersports right it's the front end.
@@steeboone4475 hmmm.. superatv didn't make the front threaded adjustable arms.. the only adjustment that can be made up front is the Toe-In/Out by adjusting the length of your steering tie rods.. may need fo take pics of your set up and email superatv and see what they think bout it.
Love the build! How well does it turn the 31s? Did you need a clutch kit?
It could have used one. It did better than I thought it would have.
what about the steering stops and brake line not a very complete how to
Hey Robert. We did not install the steering stops.. (yes they are sent with the kit for a reason) as long as the driver has a little self control, you can run without them. When the bike is in a bind; (mud hole, rut, ect..) just dont turn wheel all the way and put the axel in a unnecessary bind.
Benefits of not installing them, is still having full range steering while trying to position or park inside a shop, getting straight on a trailer, or maneuvering thru tight areas on hard pack trails.
(But yes you run the risk of putting axels in a unnecessary bind) so most should install them; per SATV's recommendations
But on the brake line we are sorry we left that out of the video.. we were both working at the same time and didnt video that part.
But it is simple to do... take the stock hard tubing fitting off and replace with the included line. The T-Union (coupler) will no longer be mounted to chasis.. it will hang loose. The SATVs instructions on their website are very clear and they did a good job explaining what to do..
Again we are sorry for leaving that out.
I new I’d see these questions? But I understand.
Steering stops. I know why you probably didn’t put them on. But you really need to put them on! Just grind the stops down about 1/8” and you’ll be able to turn just fine.
Nice video
Running 32” Mudder In Laws
@@mikeruder336 thanks Mike! That's good info
I know this is probably a stupid question now but would you all possibly still have the oem wheels that came off the teryx? I would be interested in them if there still available and you would possibly sell. Thanks
I don't have them the only thing I have left from it are the stock blue a arms.
@@LCPowersports how much for the a arms

Do you have a part number for your bracket lift
It's on Super Atvs website under the kawaski teryx4 section
Found it had to call Satv
SKU: LK-K-TRX4-2-001-02
$179.95
How would work on steep hill side as far rolling over sideways
Haven't had any problems so far will be adding some wheel spacers soon!
Where's the bike?
How did you get the alignment in the front ?
You can use the string method or use a long straight edge I just matched the front to the back
Could you fit 32 on that set up or is 31 cutting it close?
32s might work but u may start scrubbing some. The 31 skinnys are perfect.
Might could compress your shock springs some and get away with the 32s
@@LCPowersports thank you
I ordered the same same set up you have but want 18 and cant find 31 for 18 rim
@@alexreyna6221 yea that's was Brandon's situation.. he wanted a rim bigger than a 14 and that's why he went with the 31" BKT to get the 16" wheels.
I'll ask him in the morning if he thinks u can squeeze them 32s on it
How much speed and power did he lose
Not to much just alittle lost on take off
