The way you would go about doing this is you would base your decisions off of the knowledge you had at your disposal at the time. @@someonestupid6385 It's important to also consider that communism worked so well for Russia because of where it was at industrially at the time. A communist USA would see even more political isolation and economic stagnation due to how entrenched the capitalism was back then while Russia, whichever direction it went, would see slower economic growth but also wary cooperation with the UK and France against the rising Germany. I would love to see this because the scenario seems to be a politically isolated behemoth of a US vs a huge but worn down and fragile coalition of Democracies and Monarchies.

Europe: *becomes communist* Switzerland: "And this is where I make my stand! In the mighty eyes of the lord I shall show no fear! I will not abandon my post!"
A couple small caviats: - Communist EU politics would in all likelihood be very chaotic. A sociaoist france would already be a strange beast with the conflict in power between the party and the CGT, and Britain entering would also bring ideas of Keynsianism. On top of that, adding in other forces like the KPD and all of their factions, the CPI and all of their factions, including mussolini, and all of the different communist and national communist movements across former Hapsburg territory. European politics would be at a crossroads between coping with and ending factionalism, which would firmly decide whether this new state would be a more federalist one or a twin to the Soviets. Theres also the issue of the economic model, as you cant just assume theyll follow the Soviet planning model, as Europe is far more industrialized than the USSR, especially by the 1920s. Even if European politics would vecome a one party anti-factionalist Bolshevik style state, theur economics would undoubtedly be different, likely with more emphasis on labor unions (subservient to the state or not) being the backbone of the industrial economy. - Secondly, I don't entitely understand why the USSR would not have intervened in the european war. Britain and France declaring revolution ends up validating internationalist thought, which would entail more effort on the part of the USSR to intervene. How would the ensuing peace work if the USSR entered the picture?
Same with the Middle Classes in France and Britain, Strong Middle Classes being the reason Communist only Emerges in Semi-Industrialized/Non-Industrialized Nations or through conquest
I think it's somewhat unlikely. If only because I don't see a reason as to why France, and Britain, would suddenly declare war on THE USA, of all places, while also in the middle of a civil war.
I don't think there is a so big romanian population in transylvania. The North side of the region was inhabited by a group of people cold "szèkelys" who was really stubborn and aggressive. I don't think they would likely accept that they have stronger bonds to a nation, who's people came to transylvania a lot after them, even if they came in large numbers.
(2nd scenario) Even though it's the most likely option, the idea of the US fighting for the king of England specifically, and not the English as a whole, is insane. I could see America just copy-paste our government system onto the UK and France afterward. It wouldn't last more than a few years in England before another monarchy would be created (English tradition and blah blah), but I can see it lasting to present day in France and the rest of the UK.
The USA would ally with the UK King because it is the most easy figurehead you can rally the UK around and plus his government is still the parliamentary elected one.
If I understand this correctly, you got American not wanting war by having Britain surprise attack their ships to cripple the USN in one go? We saw with another island based nation that that leads to the opposite results
Honestly I think the civil wars in france and Britain would be quite a bit more drawn out, there would definitely be ways to form a coalition supporting a revolution at least in Britain, considering places like south wales and east London were electing radical leftists even in 1945. You could even say that most of the mining towns and industrial cities would be more favourable to revolution if ww1 didn’t go as it did in our tl
I prefer the first scenario, not because it would be a better world(it would not) but because if we go with "well a revolution wouldnt have succeeded in France and Britain" then we would have to discard the rest of the premise since logically it wouldnt have been accepted So if we take that the agreements made in the previous video stick, including the revolutions, I think the 1° is the logical outcome as the US was already too war weary and it had just fought Germany, so fighting both Britain & France after that as well as Russia feels like it'd be too much for the public to tolerate
We should also note that since Marxism at this point of time tended towards anti-imperialism, we could possibly see at least an accelerated decolonisation, with the former colonies possibly becoming Communist puppet states (even if the cause of the revolution was that France and Britain didn't get mandates)
I think, with the conclusion of the scenario in this video, the Asia region will become more interesting, especially for the British and French colonies in South and Southeast Asia. as in our timeline, most of colonies break off from their colonial overlord, due their overlord cannot sustain the heavy damage of the war fought before. and with this timeline, I think there's possibility that either Indochina will free on their own state (Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos) that eventually influence by either Thai, or the Japanese. British colonies will become more interesting, especially with the Raj and Malaya, that can break up or just release by the British from their colonial status as independent state, and have possibility to become more united and cohesive nation rather than break up into multiple nation determine by ethnic line, and will form the commonwealth organization/association that are similar with the one that we have in this modern world. I think you should go have more discussion of the region of south east and south Asia as they are interesting and impactful to the world history as well and the East and West Asia region. Love your video tho.
the de-facto freedom of movement between the federation, serbo-bulgaria, romania, and poland, as well as de-facto freedom of trade (due to overlapping federal law as well as treaties between federal crowns) seems very interesting to me... could be the foundation of an eastern european union :o other nations would likely end up joining as well, due to their struggling economies (looking at france and the uk... probably everyone in europe as well, honestly.) i wonder who would end up being the greatest economic power and who would end up "leading"?
I find the anti communist win scenario almost perfectly ballaces and managed. Germany ist humiliated and still keeps a moderatly large militery and is set up for majore economic boom once the shadow of ww1 fades. The habsburg empire is almost perfect with how its set up. They can crush every single enemy of them isolated and if they ream up. The twin german nation kann help. Italy isn't humiliated and with all the majore new territory like tunisia and dalmatia is set up to survive the economic collapse and most likely doesn't fall to fascists. The twin german nations can curb soviet expansion and beat tgem back. The revolution in the entante has bean crushed and even if they fall to revanschist regimes like always the twin german nations can stop them. I feal like in this new world that the twin germans will almost be like the police of europe and keep order in it.
This video might be awesome, but do you know what else would be awesome? A "what if everything went perfect for Norway scenario" (Please make a what if everything went perfect for Norway scenario)
Norway was not even an independent country untill 19th century so you would have to start this with it being during the medieval ages when the Norway was still a major power
Chiang Kai Shek was actually friendly with the Soviets until Stalin for some reason until Mao's long march since the KMT was accepting German arms while fighting the Imperial army of Japan.
The second one by a mile, I think - with pilsucki as the most influential person in poland - he would push for uniting poland with galicia, I could also see polish and western relations sour a lot beacuse poland was promised an independent state with sea Access which they didn't get
I think maybe the Habsburgs would "sell" Galicia for support against the Nationalists revolutions and maybe some trade stuff. Maybe only northern Galicia where German majority regions are rare. The rest could then join up with the Slovakians. Also I don't think the Czechs would get their own crown, but rather be Germanised over the next few decades.
@@finnmuller9079 the entire region of Galica (exept lyiv) had huge ukrainian minorotiy, Poland had historic ties with the region and without Independent ukrainian state the region would be given to Poland instead of slovakia in this scenatio beacuse I highly doubt slovakians would want to have do many ukrainians, Poland had already many ukrainians who - exept a few crashes irl - very much liked being in Poland and we - in contrast to popular believe - were treating them like poles, czechs I highly doupt would get completly germanized, it isn't easy to assimilate completly different culture and language, I could easily see Czech nationality survive another couple hungred years
@gerwaltspodnovigradu5508 well I agree. It is fiction in the end and I just created my own Austria-Hungary ending. If I were the Austrian Government I'd disperse the Czechs in the empire and mostly resettle those lands with ethnic germans and minorities in the empire (greatly dispersed ofc) so they would have to convert their culture (yes this is ethnic "cleansing" and yes this is a crime against Humanity but this is fiction and I'm the evil guy around.) The Ukrainian and polish population in Galicia isn't really interesting to AH as it only caused unrest (unrealistic I know, but I like my big bad evil AH). The Empire would hang onto the entire Karparts tho as they are a great natural border. Maybe a population exchange with Polands germanised people and settlers in Posen would happen. I would also see ethnic cleansing in Majority Romanian lands and or trying to create a separate transylvanian Identity in "southern Transylvania" (I know this ain't a real thing, but think of the hoi4 province). That is my AH ending.
@@finnmuller9079 that was the biggest problem for Austria hungary, if they only tried to clear out one minority every other would start revolting, that's why they didn't do it
@gerwaltspodnovigradu5508 I know, I know. But as this happens in a time after AH basically was dead and now is revived I see those regions under heavy military occupation. Maybe the "cleansing" is even Supported by the north germans and Poles (who would gain most of Galicia). I also see this AH, North Germany and Poland in a close relationship as they were the ones defeating the communists in this timeline while also partially fighting for the same side in WW1. Italy on the other hand took lands of AH so I wouldn't see them as as close.

What app did you use for editing the map and where did you find the map?
I still find it funny how this just became Kaiserreich when though it was originally about Versailles.
Any timeline with the West turning communist during the inter war ends up like kaiserreich
Hey I have a question. What is the application you use to edit these maps and what do you use to get maps that you edit
Communist ending:a United soviet world
Revolution put down ending:capitalism
Conclusion they both end up in more war from religion and language
What my mom thinks will happen after I miss 1 day of school:
Super video
the new remaster looking fire, maybe I'll go play the original and dlcs.
Isn't it hilarious that it is the US f-ing around in the middle east all over again causing this! XD
The Maimed fighting the blind in 1920.
This video might be awesome, but do you know what else would be awesome? A "what if everything went perfect for Norway scenario"
(Please make a what if everything went perfect for Norway scenario)
Norway was not even an independent country untill 19th century so you would have to start this with it being during the medieval ages when the Norway was still a major power
I would rather want to see Sweden
norWAY!
So basically what if Norway won the Battle of Stamford bridge
Here’s an idea: completely Balkanized Europe over ethnic lines.
Now that I rewatched this, I feel like we all forgot that Britain declared war on the us at some point
During the conference I mean
Chiang Kai Shek was actually friendly with the Soviets until Stalin for some reason until Mao's long march since the KMT was accepting German arms while fighting the Imperial army of Japan.
Please do something like this again but as a live stream
This should really be a HOI4 mod.
What happened to your perfect axis video plan?
The only WW2 scenario where Italy is not the sore underbelly of Europe.
I liked this scenario
Who has the holy land?
What would WWII look like?
I WAS JUST WATCHING IT 🤯
Having just watched the previous video, I am wondering how long Britain and France can survive a war with America, given they are completely broke.
Nice
Look at kaiserreich mod for hoi4
good job bros
Finally scenario where Austria-Hungary is involved
Can you do “What if everything went perfect for Romania”?
Would love to have friend to do this kind of alt history map😂
Hey, at least austrian painter doesn't get the wrong idea and make the world go back to shit for 6 years, so better than versailles anyway.
what happened to southgerman kingdoms?
What if Kaiser Wilhelm II asked for the help of the Belgian Military in return for getting the rest of French Benelux instead of an ultimatum?
hi
# 5:20 you forgot Italy's border on (Istria I think)
I hope my hoi4 gameplay will be normal today. The hoi4 gameplay:
