How to Make Spaghetti- Easy and Delicious Recipe

  • Hello Everyone! Welcome In Deb's Kitchen and In this video I am making my semi homemade spaghetti recipe that anyone can make. It is a favorite in my household and every time I make it for any church events or potlucks, people always ask me for my recipe so here it is! Enjoy and have a blessed day!
    Ingredients
    -2 lb ground beef
    -1 16 oz pkgs. Spaghetti noodles
    -67 oz Prego Spaghetti sauce (must be Prego, any flavor
    -Italian sausage 1 mild package, 1 hot package You may substitute bulk Italian sausage,and use only mild
    -1 tsp each of dry Italian seasoning, basil and oregano
    -1 tsp chili flakes
    -1 tsp dehydrated onion minced, you may substitute fresh diced onion and fresh garlic
    -3 cloves garlic smashed
    Instructions
    -Break up your ground beef and sausage in a frying pan with a masher for potatoes or a heavy spatula. Add all spices, stir. Set stove to Medium high heat and cook you meat until it is well browned, this carmelization adds great flavor to your sauce.
    *If you use both mild and hot and want to be able to tell the difference you can steam your hot links in about one cup of water in a covered saucepan on Medium heat.Turn your sausage once they appear gray, to steamthe other side. What sausage appears totally Gray turn the heat down to low and cook until the liquid evaporates then remove the lid and brown your sausage in the same pan turning constantly until both sides are caramelized. At this point you may cut them up and add them to your spaghetti or you can leave them whole and add more sauce to the pan and serve them separately.
    -Peel and smash garlic cloves and toss in sauce, you may mince if you prefer or leave whole take out once sauce is ready and if you don't want garlic in your dish. Garlic is an essential Italian ingredient . I advise you not to leave this out.
    -Prepare your spaghetti noodles as stated on the box drain and reserve a little pasta water if needed to add to your sausage or noodles. -
    -When your noodles are cooked and drained dump them into your meat mixture and serve immediately.
