He only stormed out of the dugout because the Yankees got a warning for no reason. It's not until AFTER the ump gave a warning that Girardi stormed out of the dugout. If the Ump wouldn't have given the Yankees a warning, Girardi wouldn't have stormed out of the dugout like that.

Said back in 03 how nearly 3/4s of the league were doing it, and they all blasted him for saying he was "breaking the code of the brotherhood" and "out to make money on a book", but he was right, because it all got exposed some time later, and then some. Funny thing about A-Rod, is that he was caught before in 09, but the latest case with him, it was never truly proven. He never actually did have a positive test for that, which is really fucked up when ya think about it. I mean, um, whatever happened to EVIDENCE in the Justice system? I get that baseball has its own CBA and all that, but still...some of his gripes were legitimate, but the yankees, holy shit, they were totally in on that whole thing too. They were basically trying to void A-Rod's contract and keep him disabled throughout 2013, and then hit the jackpot when he was caught with the whole Bosch scandal. Someone found out he was juicing again, and when word got back to the Yankees, they ratted him out. And here's how you know they were trying to screw him out of the contract. Mike Francesa was speaking to A-Rod's doctor that summer, and he said he was ready to go and play. The next day, the Yankees come out and say "that wasn't A-rod's doctor on Francesa's show" ...Lol...I mean, so what, Mike got a fake doctor on his show to say that, and would risk ruining his 20+ career as a sports analyst and radio show host? Just unreal, and the Yankees were no angels in any of that mess, as was MLB and Selig. They were all conspiring to bring A-Rod down big time, but A-Rod is a dumbshit too for doing that again. He doesn't need any of that stuff with the talent he has, and he is proving that his year. As someone who has used exogenous hormones and roids before,, i can easily spot when they are being used, and i am more than familiar with what each one does, cycles, post-cycling, and all the techniques being used. It is very possible that he was able to pass the tests due to only taking 1-2mg of Testosterone before a game, as this barely would increase a man's overall levels. There is really no way a test is going to reveal that, unless he was taking like 500+mg of it. The whole thing with Bosch on 60mins saying how he had him peeing and using the cup midstream is pure bs though. If something can show, it will show, plain n simple, doesn't matter where you pee in the cup. Again, it was the dosage he was taking, being so minimal , why he didnt get caught. Arod is a dumbfuck though for taking GH and Insulin, which is extremely dangerous and not needed unless you're a pro BB'er. I mean, taking that stuff for baseball is just downright dumb. Messing with insulin so you can pound down more food and process glucose faster (thereby gaining more size in the process) is dangerous stuff. Soon as you put that in your body, your blood sugar drops, so you need to eat massively before, during and after, else you could have a damn seizure and wind up in a wheelchair. He was also taking Pregnenolone, which is a precursor for Testosterone, and actually can help beef up brain function and overall alertness, hence why Bosch had him on that one too. In 09, he was taking Premabolan, which was one of Arnold's choice roids back in the day lol. That's meant to put some size on you. All that bs that MLB was saying though, and Selig on 60mins, about death threats on Bosch, these people he hung with, all this shit about Bosch's co-worker selling MLB and the FBI the documents for 150k, is the biggest load of shit ever. I mean, the Feds coulda just easily traced the guy, or found out who he was via Bosch or his records, and got them that way...yet he just calls and demands the FBI pay 150k...yea ok lol. Good for A-Rod! He's way more of a class act than all of that Boston trash. And this is coming from a Dodgers fan. I don't like A-Rod but I hate the Red Sox even more, for beaming him.
Lol how? A man that cheats and wont just face the truth. Thats not class at all. That is just sad and dissapointing for the and for a Pro thats just unprofessional to cheat. He got everything he deserves cause hes a cheater.
@@HOU1996 Single player takes steroids when they were rampant throughout baseball and gets a heavy penalty VS an entire Team cheating with technology that we may only know the surface levels of and gets off virtually scot free. Hmm I wonder why...
The raw emotion on his face after the home run tells you all you need to know about him. At his core he’s a ball player who wore his heart on his sleeve. Massive respect coming from a life long Sox fan
That was one of the most satisfying things I've ever witness watching baseball and being a A-Rod fan . Remember watching this with my ex Marking the fuck out after he homered
One of the greatest responses I've ever seen. I always liked Dempster but I disagreed with his actions here, and was excited when Alex got to face him a few more times to outshine him.
I remember listening to the game on my phone, and you can hear crowd chants more clearly over radio. It's "you're a cheater." As a matter of fact, my profile pic you see there next to my RUclips name was the picture I took after listening to the game. :D
It's amazing how hypocritical Red Sox fans are. Like to ignore all the facts about there own guys. I recommend they do some research and learn about that steroid outbreak back in 2009 in the clubhouse.
So now we learned that cheaters "deserve" to be beamed by 92 Mph ball that could injure a man or worse. Not only that but make sure that you applaud it being done, stay classy Boston. Only thing worse is the fans
Yea people are dumb. It's still cheating though. The irony of this video is that the Red Sox have 2 World Series titles in the last 11 years thanks to players who used steroids.
To everyone that thinks the A-rod is one of a few mlb players that take steroids is delusional. You know there was a book of a former pitcher admitting that most of the players he played with was doping right... All of my heroes took them (Arnold,Stallone,Bonds). I don't support juicing but I can understand why they took them.
I remember this like it was yesterday. This game took place the night before my first day in high school. I was so glad to see him hit that homerun to those classless fans
Ridiculous how the umpire was so quick to warn both sides, and eject Girardi, when the Yankees didn't do anything. Obviously, he recognized something was going down, but at least either eject Dempster right away or let them retaliate before issuing warnings.
I still love A-Rod. If I were to have anybody in the world be my hitting coach, A-Rod would be the first person to come to mind. Ive been a fan of his since the Seattle days, and I'll always be in his corner.
A-Rod is One of the Greatest player in the MLB (probably the best), peds don't give talent nor skills looking forward to see him on the ball field and dominate.
As a Yankee fan I'm going to say that I respect Arod and despise the Red Sox but really? Arod is far from the best and isn't much better than anyone in the minors
Mike Nathan it's no secret that PEDs help you heal faster, help you in the gym. but that's not skill. that the physical side. the way I see it, he wants and works hard every day at his craft and if he wants to take stuff to make himself even stronger to justify his contract, then let him.
ARod was a TOTAL PROFESSIONAL in this situation. He easily could have charged Dempster, but he kept his cool. And look WHAT THE FUCK HE ENDED UP DOING! ONE OF THE ULTIMATE "FUCK YOUs" in baseball history!!!!
I'm a Red Sox fan, and I certainly didn't feel bad for A-Rod getting plunked, but Girardi had every right to berate that ump. Dempster was clearly throwing at A-Rod on purpose, and by the rules, he should have been tossed. Although, to be honest, Dempster was pitching so poorly at the time that the ump may have thought he would have been rewarding the Red Sox if he'd thrown Dempster out.
Yea rewarding them by throwing out the SP in the first inning and forcing them to use up their awful bullpen...sure. Hopefully you've got a bit wiser over these last 3 years since your comment.
Are fucking stupid Ortiz has never took steroids he doesn't need steroids like fucking a-roid arid couldn't hit homeruns so he fucking injected himself Ortiz stayed lure and is still one of the greatest to play the game
Explain to me why Ortiz at one point is a bum with the Twins, then just gets jacked and becomes one of the best. Also, he is too old, his body should be broken down by now. But no, the roids keep it going. (BTW im a Yankee fan and i still hate A-roid)
+cool beeanz I'm with you on the pappi shit.. but AROD has been my favorite player since highschool and other than SANCHEZ there is no must see at bat any more.. 2009 baby.. 5 out of the 6 hr he hit were in the 7th inning or later to tie or go ahead.. not even Mickey FUCKING mantle did that!!
cool beeanz Because different coaching, better supporting cast, and becoming more aware of baseball as he gets older? There are a number of reasons, you pick one that fits your narrative though lmao.
Yes! I love this. I love A Rod always have since he was a mariner. I love the people that the fans love to hate. I've grown up on him. Look the dude ain't runnin for congress nor president. He's a ball player he's imperfect just like you and me. #TeamArod
I hate A-Rod and I hope I never see him in the MLB again after his suspension, but I loved when this happened. Even if he's a cheating bastard, if you want to prove something, strike him out, don't plunk him. Pure karma. Hate Girardi too, but kudos to him for going after the umpire, Dempster deserved to be tossed for that kind of punk move.
Degenerate999 . A-rod crashed my car, Girardi replaced all of my food with tofu. In all seriousness, A-Rod's a cheater, and while I go innocent until proven guilty, I'd say dropping his case against his suspension is as close to an admission of guilt as we'd get without him outright admitting it. As for Girardi, my team's a division rival of the Yankees, so I'm obligated to hate whoever manages the pinstripes. (No it's not the damn Sox, hate them just as much) I'm sure he's a swell guy, but as long as he manages the Yankees, I will hate him. Only Yankee I don't hate is Ichiro, because Ichiro is awesome. Mo was cool too.
gibusgamer93 Do you actually hate them though ? Like, if you saw them in reality, would you wanna spit on them or something ? I don't understand the hate by association.
Lol baseball logic: -Get thrown at 4 times and the pitcher stays in the game -Manager argues because even Stevie Wonder could see how intentional that was and he gets tossed. Can't tell who's more ridiculous MLB or NFL officiating...
Yankees fans seem to forget who's used more Boston=Paxton Crawford. New York=Roger Clemens, Alex Rodriguez, Jose Canseco, Jason Giambi, Gary Sheffield, Brian Bruney, Andy Pettite, Aaron Boone, Kevin Brown, David Justice, Chuck Knoblauch, Jason Grimsley, Francisco Cervelli, Bartolo Colon, Jesus Montero, Fernando Martinez, Kerry Wood, Ricky Bones, Bobby Estalella, Randy Velarde, Glenallen Hill, Josias Manzanillo, Hal Morris, Dan Naulty, Denny Neagle, Mike Stanton, Ron Villone, Rondell White, Todd Williams, Sergio Mitre, Wilson Delgado, Felix Heredia, Matt Lawton, Raul Mondesi, Jerry Hairston, Darren Holmes.
its a part of the game, always has been. Im fine with it as long as they stay at the numbers and don't go head hunting. Its policing their own sport, plus ARod is a huge douche so he can cry me a river.
Alex Rodríguez manejo esta situación como todo un caballero con mucha madurez, porque otro se le va encima al pitcher y lo agarra a batazos limpios y con toda la razón del mundo.
im not a Yankees fan or Red Socks (im a KC Royals fan!) but that for some reason pisses me off. I don't get why he would beam him by a pitch. I don't like A rod but i wouldn't throw a 90mph fastball at em.
***** sadly intentional hitting can be part of the game, but it's wrong in all cases and immature. Not defending him because he did cheat, but this was not necessary.
He is still one of the best hitters of all time. Regardless. I was at that game, and I don't know why people would cheer when he got hit. I still like what he did, but it was very satisfying when he hit that home run. I don't like the Yankees but I was very happy for him.
Bullshit. How do you give a warning to both benches, but more importantly the NY bench, and not throw out Dempster despite brushing ARod back and later hitting him in one at bat?
Joe Girardi’s best moment as a manager. When no one would back Arod, Girardi had his back 110%.
Him storming out of the dugout after the pitch to Gardner in 2014 and yelling in Laz Diaz’s face is a close 2nd.
Mets fan here. Loved Girard as a Yankees manager, and If i had a second team, it would be the yankees
I miss Joe.
He still might have stormed out of the dugout. He liked to fire up his team.

Good for A-Rod! He's way more of a class act than all of that Boston trash. And this is coming from a Dodgers fan. I don't like A-Rod but I hate the Red Sox even more, for beaming him.
LOL class act... oh god..
A-Rod really isn't a class act. But he is a billion times classier than the Red Sox. Never said he was a class act.
Lol how? A man that cheats and wont just face the truth. Thats not class at all. That is just sad and dissapointing for the and for a Pro thats just unprofessional to cheat. He got everything he deserves cause hes a cheater.
Are you a Red Sox fan by any chance?
Yeah I am and yes I know that our team had a problem BACK like what 4-5 years ago. Not last season.
As a Red Sox and patriots fan. I loved the way Alex answers with a big homerun .
No you're not
PED or not A rod is good, can't take that away
PEDs don't guarantee 696 home runs. A-Rod is one of the all time greats.
@@tylerw3023 no PEDs certainly makes it less of a guarantee 😂
Love how everyone is defending A ROID but want to hate on the astros forever lmao the double standard
Hey now, we turn a blind eye when its our team and players. Thats how its always been and will always be. 😄
@@HOU1996 Single player takes steroids when they were rampant throughout baseball and gets a heavy penalty VS an entire Team cheating with technology that we may only know the surface levels of and gets off virtually scot free.
Hmm I wonder why...
A-Rod smacking a HR in a hostile Fenway Park with Denzel Washington admiring. I miss those days.
The raw emotion on his face after the home run tells you all you need to know about him. At his core he’s a ball player who wore his heart on his sleeve. Massive respect coming from a life long Sox fan
This guy had so much god given talent
no idea why the ump didnt eject Dempster there, very clear that it was intentional
lordpacer yea he also admitted it recently but tbh it was so obvious
People will follow whatever fits the narrative. A-rod was the villain at the time and the ump just let it happen.
And you stay classy, Boston.
+Ian Cusick exactly
The Hawk He's not a typical biased idiot Boston fan
Ian Cusick Man a sane Patriots fan. Now I've seen it all 😁👏
The last season A-Rod played he still ranked #1 most powerful swing in the MLB.
Stares Dempster down rounding 2nd, slow mugs Papi's homeplate celly, loved it at the time, love it just as much now.
This might actually be the greatest moment in baseball history.
That was one of the most satisfying things I've ever witness watching baseball and being a A-Rod fan . Remember watching this with my ex Marking the fuck out after he homered
You still marking out?
This was A-Rod's greatest moment
Arods homerun was a great moment. Dempster had his chance to send a message. Took him four tries.
One of the greatest responses I've ever seen. I always liked Dempster but I disagreed with his actions here, and was excited when Alex got to face him a few more times to outshine him.
Love A-Rods reaction after the home run, had to feel great.
0:52 "Fuck Rodriguez!" But even as a fan of Dempster (HUGE Cubs fan) he should've been tossed for hitting A Rod and throwing another pitch near
They're actually saying "you're a cheater"
MichaelJonahTV Ok; I heard and still hear "F*ck Rodriguez"
I remember listening to the game on my phone, and you can hear crowd chants more clearly over radio. It's "you're a cheater." As a matter of fact, my profile pic you see there next to my RUclips name was the picture I took after listening to the game. :D
It's amazing how hypocritical Red Sox fans are. Like to ignore all the facts about there own guys. I recommend they do some research and learn about that steroid outbreak back in 2009 in the clubhouse.
***** did ortiz get fired you smug fuck?
mike damelio players don't get fired ya dumb shit. They get cut/released...typical Roid Sux idiot fan.
So now we learned that cheaters "deserve" to be beamed by 92 Mph ball that could injure a man or worse. Not only that but make sure that you applaud it being done, stay classy Boston. Only thing worse is the fans
That's why I say #bostonweak
+Carlos M. Pizarro I completely agree
I'm a Giants fan but your comment seems legit
+Carlos M. Pizarro YEPYEPYEPYEPYEP.
They're a shit stain in the sports world
100% Satisfaction when A-Rod hit that bomb🔥💯💪🏻
People think taking steroids means you're evil or something.....
True, yet Alex didn't admit it. He supposably took PEDS 3 times.
Yea people are dumb. It's still cheating though. The irony of this video is that the Red Sox have 2 World Series titles in the last 11 years thanks to players who used steroids.
TexasYoshii he admitted it bro
infamousian123 Oh yeah. Forgotz :p

He handled himself with class.
Pure class in not attacking the pitcher but the ball by the Pitcher as he never lost his focus.
Great job ARod. You were one of the best hitters of all time. Nobody can take that away from you.
Never been an A-Rod fan, but that's the HR I've enjoyed the most from him.
Always the classy Red Cox fans.
a roid was a massive douche.
*Stankee fans, who threw balls/bottles on the field because A-Roid was caught cheating in the 2004 ALCS.
Are you the prisdent
Because Yankees fans are so much more classy, right?
@@airplanegod and Red Sox fans being racist?
I remember this like it was yesterday. This game took place the night before my first day in high school. I was so glad to see him hit that homerun to those classless fans
I’m not a fan of a rod or the Yankees, but that was the most epic moment in baseball
AROD AROD AROD!!!!!!!!! the best
Ryan Gries if you don't think he isn't one of the best ever you're just plain ignorant or blind.
Then why did he take them?
Mike Nathan
it's no secret that PEDs help you heal faster, help you in the gym. but that's not skill. that the physical side. the way I see it, he wants and works hard every day at his craft and if he wants to take stuff to make himself even stronger to justify his contract, then let him.
When Arod hit that home run later in that game, I lost my voice from screaming for about a week. The best revenge.
Miss games like this, honestly
I love the guy with the PED XING sign. Meanwhile I'm guessing that his favorite player is David Ortiz. Go Yankees!
Ortiz never tested positive for PEDs
+John M Prove that
+John M he did once and he say that he didn't know
Alan Poirier Consider that stolen big pedi bahaha lol.😂😁
Joey Mac maybe Manny Ramirez was his favorite
The second greatest baseball player ever!!! Behind Barry Bonds and he done things that Barry did and didn’t do!!!!
I watched this game live. After he got plunked, I said "he's gonna hit a bomb today". And lo and behold, I was right.
Ryan Dempster? More like Ryan Dumpster amiright
A-GOD
More like A-HOLE
Do people know that he didn't even take steroids with the Yankees? He took them in 2003 when he was still with Texas.
formerlyak "I'm thumbing you down so hard I've just struck oil"
Bro you are trying to hard.
joker37281 Wrong..Arod took them with the Texas rangers in 2003 and in the 2009 world series...
joker37281 Even then, he's still a cheater.
joker37281 L
This happened right when he returned from his PED suspension. He did take PEDs and steroids while on the Yankees but thats not exactly relevant.
Ortiz took Roids
The video is about A Rod. And you're a liar.
A-rod ,What a player ✌️👍
Pure karma. Hate Girardi too, but kudos to him for going after the umpire, Dempster deserved to be tossed for that kind of punk move.
he and bary bonds should go in that hall of shame if they make one for the created.
cheated i meant
Why exactly do you hate girardi? What exactly did he do to you?
... What did arod do to you for that matter.
Lol baseball logic:
-Get thrown at 4 times and the pitcher stays in the game
-Manager argues because even Stevie Wonder could see how intentional that was and he gets tossed.
Can't tell who's more ridiculous MLB or NFL officiating...
Stay classy boston.
we are classy here in Minnesota :D
that's true. lol *****
Let's go mets
Do y’all understand how awesome this actually is
Love how A-Rod did the David Ortiz celebration at home plate to say fuck you hahaha.
Had that been me, after that homer you would have seen the most intentionally obscene bat-flip of all time!
if i was a rod, i woulda thrown that bat into the stands
Joe Giraridi was in the right here. Dempster shouldve been gone and warnings to each bench. Live and learn
Red Sox fans like to forget that Manny Ramirez and David Ortiz were both on the Mitchell Report.
That doesn't mean they ever did anything
***** then I guess that means the same for a rod and everyone else
Yankees fans seem to forget who's used more
Boston=Paxton Crawford.
New York=Roger Clemens, Alex Rodriguez, Jose Canseco, Jason Giambi, Gary Sheffield, Brian Bruney, Andy Pettite, Aaron Boone, Kevin Brown, David Justice, Chuck Knoblauch, Jason Grimsley, Francisco Cervelli, Bartolo Colon, Jesus Montero, Fernando Martinez, Kerry Wood, Ricky Bones, Bobby Estalella, Randy Velarde, Glenallen Hill, Josias Manzanillo, Hal Morris, Dan Naulty, Denny Neagle, Mike Stanton, Ron Villone, Rondell White, Todd Williams, Sergio Mitre, Wilson Delgado, Felix Heredia, Matt Lawton, Raul Mondesi, Jerry Hairston, Darren Holmes.
And again you decide not to mention Ortiz, Manny or even Arroyo.
Actually Bronson Arroyo flat out said he took PED's. And ortiz and manny were on the Mitchell Report because of a failed 2003 drug test.
My boy AROD is on a tear right now. With or without steroids he is one of the greatest players ever.
Life long Yankee fan here, if Jeter wasn't so selfish and let A Rod play SS (A Rod was a MUCH better SS), Yankees when at least 2 more WS titles....
oh the fans at fenway forgot that Manny, Roger, Papi, all trained at the same "gym" as A-Rod.
probably the only time I rooted for A-Rod
This was my favorite Arod moment!!
Still one of my favorite baseball moments ever
A-Rod and Ryan Howard are going to dominate in 2015. Mark my words!
Expect Ryan Howard To Return To His 2006 Self
Lucas DaBoss From a Phillies fan, not gonna happen. hes on the decline
If I was a rod I would have just started walking around the bases on that HR
No player should get thrown at no matter what. Dempster should have got suspended.
He got a 5 game suspension, but he wasn't in the pitching rotation to start in close to 5 games, so it didn't matter.
My bad for not remembering the suspension, but that is pretty ridiculous he didn't miss one start.
its a part of the game, always has been. Im fine with it as long as they stay at the numbers and don't go head hunting. Its policing their own sport, plus ARod is a huge douche so he can cry me a river.
I never did like Ryan “Dumpster” when he was with the Cubs. Being with the Red Sox doesn’t make it any better.
Fights are so much better to watch with the fans in the background
Alex Rodríguez manejo esta situación como todo un caballero con mucha madurez, porque otro se le va encima al pitcher y lo agarra a batazos limpios y con toda la razón del mundo.
im not a Yankees fan or Red Socks (im a KC Royals fan!) but that for some reason pisses me off. I don't get why he would beam him by a pitch. I don't like A rod but i wouldn't throw a 90mph fastball at em.
well said, nobody deserves to get hit like that
***** sadly intentional hitting can be part of the game, but it's wrong in all cases and immature. Not defending him because he did cheat, but this was not necessary.
I love how Red Sox fans just seem to forget about Ortiz and Ramirez
Girardi runs out, ump's response - "Yeah it was obviously on purpose. Not tossing him though, A-Rod deserved it."
