      @@arthur_ttttIn the World Series, A-Rod finished 5-for-20, hitting .250 with one home run and six RBI. Really far from crap, but go ahead keep hating.

    ARod was an absolute MONSTER in that playoff championship run. Once he woke up, everything changed for the Yankees. They became that much more devastating, and were damn near impossible to beat.

    • @Yoy28
      @Yoy28  2 года назад +7

      Thats exactly it. Those first couple of games against the twins allowed him to relax, which then carried over to the rest of the lineup. It made them even scarier than they already were.

    • @runningwithcat6195
      @runningwithcat6195 Год назад +4

      @@axlestarr4393 Matsui carried us in the World Series, but we wouldn't have gotten there without A-Rod.
      Matsui scored one run and 3 RBIs with .670 OPS in the ALCS.
      A-Rod scored six runs and 6 RBIs with 3 home runs and 1.519 OPS in the ALCS. He single-handedly carried our offense the entire series and was involved in more than 1/3 of our entire runs scored.
      The 2009 ALCS was extremely close... 3 games were decided by one run, and 5 games were decided by within three runs.
