    Yes she's correct. If you are moving plants by post within the uk you will need to supply a plant passport with each plant.

      Ok. I'm surprised. I've bought so many plants which have arrived without any mention whatsoever of a passport. Not even a sticker. Some have arrived bareroot. I will look into this though as I've mentioned and possibl even do a video on it 😂

    Hi Mark good videos please can you comment - i have done the same as you - washed my plants to dry store them - after washing i find a few off-shoots with roots (some big - some small) i have separated these and put into slight damp compost in new pots and now the leaves have died down - I ask is it best to leave them in the new pots or lift them from the pots and dry store

      Hi Paul. It is a good question and I'm not sure there is an exact correct answer. Mine are all in soil. Even the little offshoots. And i will not water them. But I'm also learning. It might be an idea for you to do 50 50? What do you think?

    You do know you heed a plant passport to sell plants through the post.

      Internally in the UNITED KINGDOM? Are you sure?

      @@rachelcolborn7818 i shall have a look into this. I'm not convinced you are correct. I will find out. People are selling plants all over the place. And I've never heard of a passport.

    • @rachelcolborn7818
      @rachelcolborn7818 2 года назад

      @@MarksHouseandGardenUK yes its well known that you need one but there is a lot of people selling without them illegally. It's a risk you take but has a large fine with it if you get caught. The passports are mainly to stop diseases spreading. Hopecyhat helps buy yes, do look it up. Any good plant seller with have one and back me up.

      @@rachelcolborn7818 well you do surprise me. Because I've bought dozens of plants this year from commercial nurseries and plants people and none have come with passports. As i say. I'll look into it tomorrow. Thanks for the tip off.
