First I was like nice - really? Then the second boat dropped her chute.
How did the second yacht get the halyard to release so quickly? seemed to drop like a stone.
Good quesion. Might have something to do with the two guys working hard on the pedestal winch... some sort of retrieval setup?

@@Sailingclips775 i'm sorry what do you mean by retrieval setup? an additional line besides the sheet?
@@LorenzFriedl look closely at 0:25 and you can see the retrieval line attached to the belly of the kite, pulling it down and onto the foredeck. It allowed for a significantly later drop than the first boat!
