    Hi Research Beast. Could you consider in making a video on SEM Analysis. I would apppreciate if it contains higher order factors.

    • @ResearchBeast
      @ResearchBeast  5 лет назад

      Mauricio Santos thank you for your comment. Higher order in the model will have the same way of analyzing. The only difference will be treating Higher order constructs. I recently did a video explaining how to deal with higher order constructs in 5 different ways. Here it is:

    Thank you for this video. I have a question. I'd like to know why don't you use consistent PLS algorithm (PLSc) in this case as all constructs are reflective. Some scholars suggest that normal PLS algorithm is used for the model contains formative constructs. I'd like to know your opinion about this issue.

    • @ResearchBeast
      @ResearchBeast  5 лет назад +3

      Weisheng CHIU thank you for your comment. You are completely correct. This video is a little older and just to explain how to do a basic model assessment.
      I will be uploading another video on PLSc and also hen to use it.

      Thank you so much Faizan. Much appreciated. Does the same rule goes for CR (Composite reliability). It should be .90 as far i know but your paper also have CR above .90. Is it acceptable? I have 3 constructs with CR over.90 Please guide me. Many Thanks

    In using SEM, it requires both the evaluation of the Measurement Model and the Structural Model. But is the evaluation of the measurement model still required or needed, when all the questionnaire items are adopted from previous research?

    Hi, I would like to ask you about the model fit in PLS.
    I am seeing many different sources, and recommendations.
    I failed to understand what should I report exactly?
    NFI is 0.73
    d_ULS : 0.1979
    rms Theta : 0.160
    d_G:0.785
    SMRM is 0.075
    GoF, if I calculate it with the root of (R2 x AVE) is 0.27
    I want to make sure I am on the correct path. Can anyone reassure me about my results please?

    Dear Dr. Faizan... In my model I have two second order constructs. The issue is when I run analysis I failed to establish discriminant validity (HTMT) criterion. The corelation exist between the items of main construct and the items of its second orders. Can you pls suggest solution for this.

    • @ResearchBeast

      You normally have to use two stage method for higher order models. It will help.

    I have data set of different treatments (four treatments) i am trying to do PLS-PM among response variables, but I do not know how to arrange response data set of different treatments in columns. for example temperature response of treatment 1, 2, 3, 4 ... how to arrange it.. Please explain

    • @ResearchBeast
      @ResearchBeast  4 года назад

      You will have to do it using sort function in excel. Or perhaps create a new variable in your dataset called treatments which will have four options, signifying each type of treatment. That’s how you can proceed.

    Doctor, i have around 40 responses to a face to face interview survey.
    I used pls for my model but some constructs failed the convergent validity test ave, cr and alpha.
    Is there any way to avoid this , maybe bcz it is an interview?!!
