Thanks for the nice video. I cleaned a roll of 8mm today using this method but in the scan there are what look like droplets on the surface of the film. Do you ever see this? Will the film dry out on the roll after cleaning?
Então amigo obrigado já pesquisei no ebay eles não mandam esse produto para o Brasil eles não importam o que posso fazer nesse caso aqui no Brasil não vendem produtos para limpeza de filmes em película
Hey Phil, will Filmrenew or Vitafilm work with VHS? I'm still battling with a couple of tapes so I'm exhausting all possible solution before giving up on them.
I prefer dirty movies 🍿 guess it’s preference 😂 Good upload though, very interesting stuff. Is that all dirt? It seemed like maybe a chemical effect with the celluloid.

Love your channel - very informative! I only use the Wolverine setup, but it's not bad. I would REALLY love to be able to do 16mm!!!
Awesome, thank you!

Unsure of what that is without seeing it.
Hello, thanks for this. Question: what model monitors are you using to review the film and what are the advantages of that particular monitor? Thanks!
Various Sony monitors. Use for underscan so you can see the entire frame.

No idea. Never used, worth a shot if you’re on your last leg with it
Is this safe to do if the film has magnetic audio?
Sure. Just go easy
Where do you get your FILMRENEW?
Urbanski
I have 16mm film projector, 1955 model photophone, i have also cleaned the same way, but i haven't used any chemical,

Urbanski film in Orland Park, IL is who makes it and sells it.
Good information Thanks
Great!
did you record the film using 16mm?
like DVD>16mm?
Nope
@@gotmemories is there a way to record a video from DVD to 16mm film?
Yes, play a dvd in a tv and shoot a 16mm camera at the tv. Not pretty but doable
This was very helpful. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
How did you record 8mm films?
If you check out the 8mm film transfer equipment playlist in the channel there’s videos on the process.

Collection of 16mm STAG FILMS from 40’s-50’s
Very Tame by Today’s stuff😹
😂😂😂
Your customer couldn't do that? That's a pretty lame customer IMO.
Comes with the territory!
Most customers know very little about caring for media. Also, Film Renew is expensive. No customer is doing that...
