Hey guys and welcome to another chinaphone tutorial. So today i will show you how to install TWRP recovery on every mtk based chinaphone !
what you need:
- Requires Root
- Install adb driver
- Enable USB debugging
- Disable UAC
- Disable driver signature
- Compatibility with KitKat
- No need ro.secure=0 to run

Thanks for this very educational (and entertaining) tutorial. I learned a lot from it. May I give you a tip? Because of the high resolution of your screen of this video the details on your screens are not very well readible. It took me an external monitor set on full screen to read the descriptions of the download links correctly. (Yes I nead glasses and I,m already wearing them :-) Meaby for your next tutorial you can set your monitors resolution a litte lower when recording. Remember the default RUclips screen is a lot smaller than your screen and details can easily get lost.
But for now I thank you again for your efforts and time spend on this nice production.

@@americanpie3638 yeah I did, that was 2 years ago, I had a non-brand phone which didn't have any TWRP built for it so couldn't root it. :)

You won't need a custom recovery with Chainefire's new creation "Flashfire" ;)
The App installs custom ROMs without the need of a custom recovery or a computer ;)

Didn't work on my Prestigio Multipad Wize 3057 3G, recovery stops working altogether when I flash it over, it just hangs on the powered by android screen. Must be a compatibility issue.

ich habe ein problem mit meinem china phone. ich habe es gerootet so wie in deinem letzten video beschrieben hat alles super geklappt. danach wollte ich mit app deleter einige für mich nicht notwendig system apps wie twitter löschen. ich habe aber leider noch einige andere system apps gelöscht, daraus kam heraus, dass die schnellzugrifsleiste oben weg ist und mein homebild immer schwarz ist, dazu kommt play store geht nicht mehr. neuinstalliert hab ich es schon jedoch fehlen immer noch alle deinstallierten daten und somit weiß ich nicht wie ich das problem lösen soll. bitte um hilfe.

probably the image oft The recovery will be to big and kill your NV-ram area. i would suggest before You try make an full MTK droid tools backup and also backup nvram. then try twrp. if you cant do falls anymore and imei is corrupted You would Need to try to restore it or flash back backup

or you can do it using computer with adb

Flash .zip packages, backup the whole system (data, kernel, etc) without a computer and have a Plan B if your smartphone doesn't boot anymore ;)

Hello. Thanks for your tutorial but i have a problem: i installed TWRP with your guide on my blackview ultra (MTK 5682) but the installer never asked me if my recovery is flipped so i could never say "yes" and now i have the recovery, the screen (or just the menu) is correct but the touchscreen is inverted 180 degrees. it is unusable like this and flashing it another time didn't solve the problem. also when i try to get into recovery (by pressing power + volume up) i get three options: 1. revocery 2. fastboot 3.boot and it says that volume down-button means OK but i can't select anything with it. it's like it's not working (allthough when booted it does!)...any ideas on that?when i power it up with power + volume down it enters a complete chinese menu...please help me!

Your SoC is dang new. You'll better wait for official OTA from your manufacter since you cannot install custom ROM or recovery on it.

My lenovo a806 sucks. I can't root it, no matter what I do. From Kingroot to Framaroot. Nothing bloody works!!!

But I did manage to solve it using a ROM that can be flashed using SP Flash Tool. So basically my phone is ok now after rooting & replacing the annoying Teleservice problem. Only now have overheating when I play games.
