The violinist in dark forest YES! Love her! It’s a little soul destroying for all those talents musicians being mostly ignored though. 😖 All looks fab, I’m hoping to make it to the park this month! 🙌
06:46 spinjam (air raid) looks surprisingly good with the lighting that alton towers changed from green to red and blue on the arrows at the top of the ride!!
i'm still unsure about the fairground rides i've not been since they added them but they are definitely lacking in flat rides so i guess these are better than an empty spot, i'm going in june so will try them out!
I loved this! Especially the violinist and the mia duo for wickerman! I know some people think it's a bit crap but I think it's just a nice touch to celebrate and bring the vibes to the rides! It's their first time doing something like this and it's a bloody good start!

Festival of Thrills looks RIGHT up my street. What better than Coasters and live music? I'd happily spend a few hours of my day outside Wickerman checking out all the folk/rock bands. Awesome additional event for the park and I can't wait to see it in a few weeks.

Loved the 80s rock act and the gothic strings were a really pleasant surprise. This is a really cool thing the parks doing, it's a really unique event that I haven't seen anywhere else in the UK really. Really hope they bring it back year, maybe with some different acts. I feel like some heavy metal would work quite well for the nemesis act if they were gonna rotate some acta out.

Great video, the stages and music create a very nice atmosphere with the coasters running as well. I do think that Towers Street could be themed quite a bit. Themed bunting and a good photo opportunity would be nice. Great video.!

Oh wow, seeing the Wraith in Dark Forest again is a blast from the past! I'm still friends with someone on FB that pretended to be one during Th13teens's construction... I think my 16 year-old self thought it was a genuine stunt from the park, when really it was probably just an enthusiast having everyone on :P Come to think about it I still follow the two 'filmmakers' from the Smiler teasers as well 😅
This was great, loved the music down in X-sector and some of the songs played on the Violin in dark forest was great too but they were all really good. Would love to go down and check this out.

Good on Alton Towers for doing such a great job with events. This looks great! It will be an even better festival over busy periods like the Easter weekend, and some sunshine and warm days will top it off. Our Tayto Park could take a leaf out of the Merlin book, for sure.
Always feel bad for bands that are there to put on a show and no one stops to appreciate it. I know in essence, people don’t go to theme parks to watch live bands but I still wish they had a bit more of a crowd 😞
I’m my opinion it would be cool if they got all the costumes and did one big show on the big stage or do some scare maze with all the themed rides having there own sections where the costumes are in there to
I really enjoyed these 4 themed areas with the amaizing talented musicians dancers and the 13 girl, i really admire and embrace these moments that really does enhance the park also attracts the tourists to build up an atmosphere for live entertainment throughout the Day which is great including the 80’s era as well. what a great combination of music from pop, dance, rave, especially rock as I’m a huge rock heavy metal fan, I did enjoy the other musicians but blimey that violinist she was Flippin amazing wasn’t she, their all amazing talented musicians, I must admit I loved your Groovy dance moves dancing engaging with the entertainers that was my highlight, do you think there could be more information about the dark forest as am pretty sure everyone is intrigued about the forest, my sister’s friends are curious as there’s miniscule inside info.
Can’t wait I’m going on Friday one again like I said these merlin passes are very useful, but what will acctually happen during this event? Will there be some new theming for each thrill ride?

Seems like a nice additional event for the calendar, my only nitpick is those aeroplane seats on the Galactica stage, they were a choice lol
