I hope we get a plane update where they update the atmosphere so planes are a little more realistic lol
This would really be nice. The lift is okay being a bit arcade style, but the drag is like having a 10 meter parachute hanging off the back of your F-22.
Not really possible since it would most likely break all existing planes
They stated they likely will not do this in their Q/A video.

As a submarine builder I think this update is a great idea, wouldn’t it just be nice to silently pass an ancient underwater ruin, or explore a shipwreck?

They could add air, so when you are in submarine you cant stay here for infinity.
I just want more and better terrain for land vehicles, and trains I guess.

Also they planned to implement build creations, but definetely not in a near future, because they updating with new content and fixing bugs for now

the underwater part of ocean has probably been the least appreciated part of the game, and im glad they are updating it!
Yessss finally I always found the underwater landscape somewhat lacking. When you visitied the Jersey and Midlothian Wreck and the Dragon Cave, that was it for underwater exploration
They use to have random rocks and plant life but it just up and vanished one day.
every thing i have built has been to try and get people to explore the ocean deapths more and this update makes me sooooooo happy!

I think that boat/plane recovery missions would be awesome. Such as having to find a sunken boat and taking it somewhere
I can’t wait to see someone build the SeaQuest DSV in the game and explore the deep with it.
Maybe my gigantic SAR and exploration vehicle will be useful now.
Its such a simple thing, but im so happy that my depth sounder will start showing more then a flat bottom.
Awsome with a new biom and glowsticks. But im still waiting for 1x1 props and lighter than air blocks...
I hope they fix the pumps/fluid ports so making a underwater vehicle becomes more logical.
This is going to be good, I’ve just finished a nuclear powered tracked seafloor crawler
I want to see some super deep rescue missions. Deep enough that you can't exit your vehicle because it'll kill crush you, so the only way to complete the mission is to use magnetic docking, one on the rescue vehicle and one on the vehicle to be rescued.

@@justinolsen488 No, I'm ralking about stuff like the glide physics. for example, if you turn the propeller off on a plane, you basically just plumet to the ground
@@justinolsen488 Not to mention, the wing blocks are irritatingly shaped as to not match the the other wedges to make a smooth looking wing, plus they do not allow for fuel in them like real wings do. It would be nice to make custom wings and not have to try to figure out how to squeeze enough wing blocks or control surfaces into the plane to make it fly.
I don't mean replace the wing with them replace the barrier on the top and bottom of the wing. The small ones wing shape doesn't collide with other blocks

Its a bit far-fetched, but i really hope we'll get some new custom doors/ updated fluid simulation. You know, since all that stuff would be more relevant then
hopefully they improve the pumps for deep diving coz rn its basicly imposable to make a small sub due to the weak pumps after like 10 meters depth or add pumps that only work in high pressure

I really like the idea of more underwater missions, but would really like them to fix the sound on the Mac, it was broken by an update many months ago, and makes it sound like your speakers are blown! I don't know why they wont fix this! It used to work!
They should officially add some sort of fishing like with nets and harpoon fishing, and maybe even a harpoon gun for larger creatures like the kraken and megaladon

I still just want my unpowered wheels to spin freely and not act like the brakes are applied -_- it makes 2WD cars pointless.
Oh, and I've complained about this a lot, but turbos still don't work like real turbos since they use engine power and not exhaust pressure. Damnit maybe I should build something other than cars.
It would be reeeeeeeeally cool if they made recovery balloons somehow, to raise things from the ocean floor

Well... I've started playing Stormworks by learning how to build a boat. Then a steam locomitove. Then a plane. Now it's submarine time I guess
They should remove the loot crates floating in the ocean or make them a lot more rarer at least. Currently there is not much incentive to explore islands, shipwrecks, underwater caves or any POIs in general for crates and chests as it is easier to come across them while doing rescue missions or just plain traveling from point A to point B. I damaged my speed boat numerous times by colliding with them darn crates.
After playing Carrier Commander 2 finally I would like to see a little better controller support when out of the workdench. I have a Steam Deck. The game runs fine as far as I've gotten but with there default controller setup nothing is registered.

Honestly all I care about any more from this game is more missions! there is little reason to play the game beyond building.

I own a decent submarine but I need to make a new one... And Idk how can I use vertical propellers to rise...
Use pivots that have power passthrough so you can change the angle of propellers

In the Dev Q&A he mentioned it, but said it would break creations because they would have to rework the physics and they do not want to break everyone's creations....
I would think most players would have creations break to fix the game than have unbroken reations but a broken game...🤷♂️
@@Bendigo1 what a lame cop out. The “physics” really don’t need to be reworked they are too lazy to implement it.
All they need is a compressor block (sucks in air and puts it in tank)
Tank block (stores compressed air) by “compressed” it’s literally just the amount of air by like x2 or x3 or something whatever metric they want.
Finally simply make the compressed air able to replace water instances with air.
If you have 9^3 meters of compressed air it should be able to replace 729 individual blocks of water. If the tank is 729 blocks and it’s full of water just delete the blocks of water slowly and replace them with water. No “physics” needed. Lazy ass devs
If they can’t botch that together then they are truly useless devs. No “breaking physics” needed

They don't even want to add more blocks, like armor blocks "because there would be duplicate parts"....What??? How???? There is a mod that adds tonsof new blocks, even windows, and there is no issue with duplicate parts...😕🤦♂️
@@Klaus_Klavier Honestly, I think they just want to keep it a small team and not add workload, but want to make more fancy thinkgs that they think players want and have asked for but don't want to go back and change things that players have been BEGGING them to change for years, because reasons....

Would love to have a space update so we can make satellites and gps systems. We could then have missons that would require us to help Astronauts repair space stations, add to space stations,transport astronauts to and from. Transport supplies. We could build a defence system that could help stop meteorites from happening on the surface. Build a weather map or satellite laser targeting strikes. We could have alien invasion as a disaster and emp weapons. We could have new workshops that are underground silos or above ground launch station like at nasa. Space could be amazing.
