That could become really handy if a future update brings more rails and bigger trainyards!
I’ve always wanted train lines on the mega island.
@@topphatt1312 Honestly, would love runaround loops.
Not railyards, just runaround loops at the end of lines so you can run your locomotive around your train.
They should really add more train bogies variations, more realistic train tracks, electric pantographs for electric locos and ability to place your own rail tracks wherever you want.
Don't even build boats anymore. Trains and cranes.
Its good they have added train stuff but hopefully we'll get more axle types at some point which really would be great (and maybe more freighting missions)
I wished that they changed the interactive painting with the buttons, right now you color the backlight, not very usefull bc the actual button stays red. I wished that the buttons changed color. Black buttons would look way better bc red doesn’t always look great.
Better if they used a dim version of additive color for the button off. Then you have rgb choices

I’m so glad the devs reconsiderd and took a more mature approach to updates, sure the heyday of Stormworks with new updates every week was sort of exciting to see, it wasn’t sustainable and personally playing just devolved into playing with the latest feature for a week and then moving on to the next one
I like to make the modere engines a bit realistic, for example to put the use for oil as lubricants on the engines.
I like to hear the sounds of the engines more realistic bij each cilinder you add to them, and also the speed the engine runs, for example in real life you have 3 types of diesel engines, slow speed diesels (40rpm-400rpm) mid speed diesels (100rpm-1200rpm) and high speed diesels (400rpm-2500rpm) this is the 3 examples for industrial or ship diesels.
The last example (high speed diesels) are most common in trucks.
The first example are most common in large sea ships or old inland ships.
The second examples is mostly used in trains and modern inland and in generator drivin ship (electric screw drive (azi pod).
And yet we still only have one option for train wheels.
I just need mechanical physics for making real steam driven train wheels.
We really need moddable windows tbh
Next feature added will be the ability to edit terrain of every tile in the game and the ability to import assets, and then an in game mod loader so modded parts with be easy

How on earth did you get the addon that gave you all the places? I followed your tutorial step by step (other than the part where you magically conjured an addon), assuming that the location you put the signal in was the 1kmx1km ocean, and it didn't work. I have been trying to find something that will tell me how to do this for ages, so please just explain that one part of the video.

I made my own signal today
I almost wish there was an easy way to have possibly 2 different types of switches, so like for the crossovers v not crossover ones being a different design. Oh well, I bearly figured out this with the guide, so we'll see!
Unless I could just make the bottom half of it, so the top half I could manually spawn in, as the main difference I'd design is for a sepamore signal (red for crossovers, yellow for generic direction change)...

Wardrobe as in shirts. Not the equipment outfits. Might see it if you make new chacter or go to starter island's house which has a "wardrobe" to let you change mid game
