I had 20 hrs in the first 15 months that I owned it until I discovered modding. And now I'm at around 2500 or so.

Bro i have tried to change my stats to make my flip tricks and grinds look like yours...i need a lengthy video on how to do this. Your shit looks so good. Like my treflips look wack even with manual catch and no auto correct catch
Skate was so much better than Tony Hawk because as an actual skater, I'd love to do very realistic tricks and sick lines. As a kid Tony hawk was fun because it was about the high scores and crazy dumb tricks to get your combos up. Now skater xl has made everything even more realistic with the mods, but I'm so excited for skate 4. Who knows it they'll revamp the controls

Manual reverts were designed by the devil himself. So hard to do them regardless of how much I've tried
Once you figure them out, they become pretty easy. It took me a while for sure, I'm glad they made them easier to do
I do them pretty consistently. That said, when I do them, I put the controller overlay back on and stare at it because the lines around show you how far you can go before you pop, so it's kinda cheating lol
Does anyone know any tips for skating quarter pipes? Like if I want to do a flip trick into a stall or if I want to just air out a a trick. I play on console so I’m sure that doesn’t help but I just want to skate some transition and not randomly try to stall when I’m trying to just do a flip trick. Thanks guys

After playing console then watching PC I wish the game wasn’t so floaty but it’s still fun

I've given in to the fact after 2 years of playing this game I'll never be able to do manual reverts lol my fingers just cannot do it and I end up just wanting to put my controller through a wall so not worth it haha

I hate the reverts so much in XL because I can't do them haha. Like 1 outta 10 tries if I'm lucky
Cheatcode: Put the Controller Overlay back on and look at it while doing them. The circles around the sticks give you a visial representation how far you can go before you pop.
The devs screwed up hard by not having a soundtrack. And you can't save more than one trick at a time on console. It pretty limited.
I swear, trying to learn this game is probably harder than just learning how to skate IRL.

Even though I knew all of this I hope it helps a lot of ppl because these things really make the console sxl fun and realistic but ppl will complain they want stats while high popping everything

Hey milky, i installed the stats you have in your discord currently, but my gameplay looks waaay different than yours. Any idea why?
He changes his stats up so you're probably never gonna have his stats 100%

It should all be the same, just copy my stats + follow camera settings and it should be spot on. Grab the shoes I was wearing in this video too (link in description) ... the shoe model does kinda matter sometimes for the 'stances' to look good.

Man watching your vids always makes me feel so down that easy day don’t give a shit about making the console version good. I am gunna have to get a good laptop at some point cos I agree that other skate games don’t allow you this level of creativity and are more arcade like. What’s crazy is without mods, the pc version would be the same as the console. I just can’t understand this developer at all

I'm forced to play vanilla XL on my ps4 because the PC i have is so shit for games it crashes no matter what settings for the resolution I have and all. Crashes on portal 2 that's how bad it is. Once I learn what and how to upgrade my pc for gaming I'm getting skater xl right away with the mods. It looks 1000% better
