What's messed up is that singing a cover is actually okay now according to Nintendo. After they removed the Nintendo's Creators Program a while ago, they became much more lenient and now allow you to use footage from games that are released (no leaks) and official images, and as long as you don't use these things to actually sell something (no selling a cover of a Nintendo track), then it's okay as long as you add your own creative input, as opposed to posting videos of cutscenes or music tracks only.
To sum it up, Sony is making a copyright claim over Juno’s fair use, bomb omb battlefield video, because it has the super Mario bros theme, which they don’t and isn’t present in the video and, is once again, allowed to be used in videos according to Nintendo. Thanks RUclips, very cool

Wanna know something crazy? Skawo, one of the guys behind the Newer Super Mario Bros games, was hit by almost the same exact strike by Sony! It was for Part 1 of his Paper Mario TTYD Let’s Play because the music in said game was “owned” by Sony even though Nintendo and Intelligent Systems don’t have any known ties to Sony!
This is the reason why RUclips and its copyright system is terrible nowadays. There’s a bunch of people falsely claiming videos when no matter what it is and regardless of how much time and effort they put in to make the videos popular. I know a few users had to deal with it, including a demo knight main who got falsely claimed by someone exploiting the system for Sea of Thieves. Listen though, this song is really good but I hate that RUclips is shaming people like you while still providing ads to channels that don’t do anything but make worse content. I did alittle digging and at some point Vcpmc_cs were doing false claims on the ducktales moon theme. They said it was the ducktails theme. Misspelled name of the game, it's not the theme song of the show, and other small things that didn't add up.

i couldn’t play through jolly roger bay or dire dire docks in my sm64 series for this exact same reason. i actually wrote out some lyrics for dire dire docks about copyright similar in nature to this and was gonna do a cover to put over the gameplay, but i didn’t think it was worth the effort

This is the reason why RUclips and its copyright system is terrible nowadays. There’s a bunch of people falsely claiming videos when no matter what it is and regardless of how much time and effort they put in to make the videos popular.
I know a few users had to deal with it, including a demo knight main who got falsely claimed by someone exploiting the system for Sea of Thieves.
Listen though, this song is really good but I hate that RUclips is shaming people like you while still providing ads to channels that don’t do anything but make worse content. But hey, we’re all here to help you fight this system, Juno.

I knew for months since I've found your channel that this would happen to one of your videos eventually since RUclips and Sony love to false claim other companies' music that they don't own and it's still upsetting when you've spent countless hours making awesome covers for almost two years.

I did alittle digging and at some point Vcpmc_cs were doing false claims on the ducktales moon theme. They said it was the ducktails theme. Misspelled name of the game, it's not the theme song of the show, and other small things that didn't add up.

If anything, Capcom should be pissed because that is technically their song, as the song's origin is from that old NES game.

i couldn’t play through jolly roger bay or dire dire docks in my sm64 series for this exact same reason. i actually wrote out some lyrics for dire dire docks about copyright similar in nature to this and was gonna do a cover to put over the gameplay, but i didn’t think it was worth the effort
