    Fantastic interview. One of the most important guitarists ever. The highest tribute I can play Lage is that the people he cites as influences would be as blown away by his playing as the rest of us.

    Lovely stuff, Gents! Really enjoyed the insights to Lage's composing and recording processes. The Andrew Hill discussion was great-tackling his compositions isn't for the faint of heart, especially on guitar. If you're interested, Nels Cline also did it on his album New Monastery back in 2006.

    It’s kinda wierd to see that two Brazilian artists influenced him somehow, In different stages of his musical path: Sepultura and Milton Nascimento (!!!!)
