This thing seems fantastic. There's one thing missing and it's a common thing with these chargers. Power button. It gets annoying to plug and unplug the cable all the time.
Man I was like one second away from pulling the trigger on the P 30 but now I might be changing my mind this is really cool I like I could use my power supply to charge my large batteries or I could just plug it into the wall to charge my smaller crawler batteries
@@BuddyRC I actually just put the power supply on the email list so I can pick one up when you get them back in stock. What is the retail on this charger in case I missed it? Clicked on the link and it said it was $999 just wondering is that a typo or is that correct
@@BuddyRC One thing with the charge current on each channel when you have it plugged in the wall in the settings can you actually dedicate wattage per channel like could you split it up to where it’s dedicating 100 W per channel?
The wattage split is something we are asking the factory about. For the retail price they haven't told us yet so the $999 is just a placeholder until we find out.
@@BuddyRC awesome the process thing was kind of what I figured LOL thanks for the reply and the information I signed up to be emailed for that product as well when those come back in stock I’ll definitely take those up and do a review I own the I SDT fd200 discharge unit and I really like it
Ok question here, I've been watching videos for the past few days... which charger is the best for home and field usage (intend to use a car battery 24f 18v for 40 bucks at Uhault).. can you charge your lipo batteries with a k2 or a p30 from alligator plug 18v car battery? I was going for the isdt d2 until I started digging into ac / DC chargers, wow so useful !!!
Is there a means to balance the amperage between the two channels? E.g. in your charging test you were getting 7A on ch1, 1.6A on ch2, is there a setting to more evenly distribute the available wattage, to say approx 4A on each channel? If not that's a bit disappointing.
This is honestly something I'm not sure about. We have reached out to the factory directly and am waiting for a response. (Since it's the weekend I wouldn't expect to hear anything for a few days)
Thanks! I had my eye on this charger but I don't think it'll suit my needs. I charge high amperage 6S batteries and wanted to upgrade to a dual charger to save time, but the power in AC mode of this charger is too limited and the price is too high given that there are chargers which are capable of double the AC power at a lower cost.
Thanks man! If it's not too much trouble, I'd still like to hear a follow up re power distribution on the K2 should ISDT ever respond to you... It would be great if you could distribute the power 50/50 between channels rather than maxing out one channel and leaving the second channel with the crumbs, so to speak.
Hi. I want to understand something about this charger. If I give it AC input supply voltage then I will get Max. charging power 200W per port and if I give it DC input supply voltage then Max. charging power 500W per port?
ISDT and their naming for products is getting wonky nice to see they broke this one out into a new sorta subline. as they had the D2 before but now have D1 which is newer than the D2? also the Q series 2.0 can be a little confusing in the naming but love all the new features coming, and the Digital power supply feature is super cool on all these and very helpful in many ways. I do have one question does the K2 offer Bluetooth App support like the P30? ISDT site has limited info on the k2 and did not see it mentioned in the video at all for the K2. the K2 seems to be a mash-up of the D1 and D2 mixed in with P30 really liking it and hope the price is right to complete with the feature-rich Hota d6 + and Ultra power 6 Plus offerings.
How many amps can it charge on both channels simultaniously on AC? It's not even on their website. It just says 200w. I wanna be 100% sure before i buy that it's capable of 2x 12amp on 2s like the D2
The AC side is the same as the D2 however can go up to 20 amps on each side with the limitation of 200w across the charger. So at 100w per side on a 2s you'll be able to get 13.5 amps (lowering as it reaches full charge)
This is exactly what I needed! Charging on ac at home, dc in the field. Perfect 👌
Thanks for the review. just got me a k2 and their parralel charger PC-4860s.

It has start/ stop functionality. :)
I ended up buying the K2 and... I love it. I use it via DC and love being able to charge 2 x 6S batteries at a high amperage.
Nice content Bro. Very helpful
Glad to hear that

My exact thoughts. The flexibility makes this thing stand out

Awesome charger... just got it!
What are the available task features for nimh batteries? TIA
Thank you for nice review! K2 can charge/discharge 1-6s battery without balance port? Only via xt60?
Hello. The K2 charger don't display the operation in running as indicated by the D2 charger

Doing some research, if you start a dual task (as opposed to initiating the charge one channel at a time) it will ramp up both channels evenly.
Can you set different charge preset profiles in memory?
Hi buddyrc can you connect the K2 to computer and see if they released firmware update for the fans and the noise?
Fan noise is obviously normal

Yes you get more watts out of the DC Power

been looking for charger for ebuggy racing just wonder what amps it would do 4s 6500
Most of our chargers will charge that battery but the speed in which it can do that is what changes.
What connector does it use for the DC port?
XT60
When back in stock ???
NOW :)

What are the available task features for NIMH batteries?
Same for all batteries.
@@BuddyRC does it have cycle feature for nimh, Delta peak sensitivity adjustment and trickle current?
@@BuddyRC for nimh
can you discharge it as well ??
Yes
Good for a beginner?
Most definitely. It's what I recommend due to the fact you can add a power supply later to gain more out of the charger
What is in the box
charger + screen protector + power cable
Russian language support in the menu?
