  • Thank you for all of your tips during my last video! I learned a lot from all the tips and suggestions everyone provided. Much of it has shifted my gameplay; I won't lie and say everything has been smooth sailing. I have to get used to my gameplay being different and I've found myself struggling with my confidence when I am playing Mercy. I guess it's all about finding a balance and what works. As I continue to play, I am sure things will mellow out and work in my favor! Checkout my other videos for more :)

    Heyyyy! I have some tips if you think they'll help. I'm a GM 3 peak mercy specialist/Main support player.
    1. Try to be more behind walls, and hugging them. You always want to be behind your team, and behind cover. When the enemy team cant see you, you become less of a target. When you hug walls, especially around sombra you can reposition fast to try to weave and kind of play "Ring around the rosey" with a poll to help decrease the amount of dmg you take and give your team more time to react.
    2. When repositioning, try to use GA cancel or slingshot. Make sure to always watch around you, for example behind, since you knew there was a sombra you always want to try to instantly react to a teammate being dove.
    3. You don't really want to heal your tank unless you absolutely have to, blue beaming is always going to be top priority for mercy unless the situation calls otherwise, though always try to blue beam when you can. For example, when they're taking more dmg than your other support can handle. Depending on your other supports pick and the situation you'll need to adjust this.
    4. If you see someone feeding in the middle of the enemy team, don't try to help them unless you have valk up and know its safe enough, your life is more valuable 80% of the time.
    I hope this helps! Its a lot of information to take in, If you want to practice, I suggest doing one thing at a time. Eventually it becomes "second nature." Have a nice day/night!
    I also gave you a sub, I cant wait to see you climb the ranks!

      @@missannxiety I do suggest watching gm, champion/t500 mercy gameplay, if you’re serious about climbing, you simply just need to play at a higher level than you are at now.

    There's only a few tips I can give you since you're already really good:
    1. Don't look at the floor
    2. Don't stay too close to your teammates so you don't get affected by abilities like Ana's nade or Ashe's dynamite. Your beam is 15 meters long, use it
    3. Always pocket the teammate who's ulting or the ult itself (like BOB), except for Junkrat, Hanzo and a few more
    4. Try to play a lot of Mercy and rez parkours. They will help you with your movement and rezing
    5. Watch pro Mercy players since that can help
    Can't wait to see you climb ranks. Good luck

    1. Try to be on the high ground more. Enemies need to reposition to get to you.
    2. Your crosshair is a little low. It limits your line of sight a little bit.
    3. For super jumping, I’ve noticed that pressing space does the same thing and you have more control. It all depends on how fast you can flick your mouse. And if you hit space by accident you control where you go. Super jumping I only use to escape.
    4. That was a great kill. But sort of risky. Mercy’s Barbie blaster works best when finishing off enemies. If you see your DPS has 3 people at 50 hp, just take out that Glock and help them. Low elo mercy’s will lose a 1v1 because the blaster has a delay and low damage (it sucks).
    5. If you’re pushing up with a DPS, they won’t expect you to fall back suddenly. You’ll end up losing that DPS. Take a chance and keep pushing up. Aggressive Mercy plays are risky but yield high rewards. Eventually you’ll learn what works and doesn’t work. Whenever I fall back I call it out so the DPS knows they can follow me, or die.

    2:02 you could 100% use the blaster here instead of just pinging the ana, you could do a few hits and then fly off. It would probably scare the ana further from her team or distract her, it would be even better if you got the kill!
    This foes for any time you see someone out of place, like a sombra, widow, ashe etc. It could help force them off your team or make them fall back. Don't rely on your team to kill if you see someone and they don't respond, mercy does a lot of damage to squishies!

    You didn't really get much value out of your Valk in round one, and you were flying high, but stationary, I would recommend using Valk to ga around like a moth and slingshot yourself to heal your tank in that situation, and use the cover of those walls, especially because you can heal out of sightlines for 3 seconds before it goes down so it's easy to peak and slingshot again if the tank had really been your main priority. There were also times you would heal soldier at nearly full even when he had his healing pot down, and you could have stayed dmg boosting at that point. For round 2, you admitted you followed the soldier and could have died, which is good and I'm glad you recognized that, but that really does go for your team in general, when a teammate overextends, it's their fault if they die, and really there's nothing you can do without risking your life as well as theirs, moira could have thrown him an orb, and he could have used the health pack in there and used his healing pot, but there's no amount of healing that saves stupid. You had a great sigma rez there, and the reason you weren't punished was because you were behind cover and the enemy team didn't know where you were, which is perfect and ideal. In round 2 you also had a great counter Valk against the enemy moira who used coll. All in all you did well, and I would recommend doing some Mercy aim training for moments like in the end when you were 1v1 against the ana.

    I have like 2 tips when your healing or reviving go to the. Closest wall and not too far so you don’t take damge or get booped off the reviving #2 don’t valk unless you need to your ult is important when everyone is low

  • @o.lemon.o
    @o.lemon.o Месяц назад

    my tips would be that mercy is a great starter support, but for higher ranks and the such you should focus on playing some other heroes. mercy is awesome at healing, but the damage output is non existent, making it really hard to climb because you have to rely on your team. with other supports (ex. moira, bap, zen, ana are all great picks) you have more damage output, meaning you can carry games sometimes. ur on the right path, just make sure your hero pool is varied, because sometimes mercy isnt always the right pick!! i suggest watching spilo's coaching videos, they help a lot :))

    • @galaxiewolf9112
      @galaxiewolf9112 Месяц назад +1

      @@o.lemon.o in low ranks, yes mercy can be considered a “hard hero to climb on” but it really depends on how you play it more than the hero your playing. Improving, and fixing your bad habits, the better you play the faster you’ll climb. It is fair that other supports do more damage but technically speaking it doesn’t matter to an extent how much damage or healing you’re doing if you aren’t playing well. It’s better to have a hero pool of 2-3 hero’s at most as a low rank, learn them to mastery, then increase your hero pool by practicing in unranked and such to start until you feel confident enough to play them in comp.

    Lowering dpi is really not needed! play with the dpi you're the most comfortable with ! I have 3000 dpi for 11 sens in game and I can play without any problem

    • @galaxiewolf9112
      @galaxiewolf9112 Месяц назад +1

      @@PIKIWII for the most part that is valid, and do what works for you. But there is an optimal sense/dpi combo for FPS gaming in general (there’s many RUclips videos about it) mostly because it overall impacts your aim, and the smoothness in said aim is lower, it gets explained a lot more in RUclips videos. Granted on mercy it isn’t as important because you aren’t going to be directly aiming at the enemy to Glock them that often, so a higher sense on mercy isn’t that bad. Though you need to have a high enough sense to flick to different targets but not to low that your aiming ability is completely lost, mostly for those crucial moments of pulling the Glock out. Or so you don’t give yourself vertigo every time you play the hero LOL

  • @Sen_Si
    @Sen_Si Месяц назад +1

    The first thing i noted is that, ur playing ground mercy, ur movement seems very stiff too, you have to learn to stay in the air at all times on mercy, like legit flying constantly unless they have someone to take you down in one shot

    • @missannxiety
      @missannxiety  Месяц назад

      You’re right! I’ve been a bit more stiff lately with the changes to my DPI. Before I was always flying around and would get punished for it. 😭 Now I’m trying to figure out how to be in the air and not an easy target while doing it.

    • @galaxiewolf9112
      @galaxiewolf9112 Месяц назад +6

      @@Sen_Si situationally speaking ground mercy works better unless against a team comp with few hitscans (dps, supp, or tank) you do want to be on the ground, and as you get into higher ranks people’s aim get better so especially if they have Hitscans for example Cassidy, you want to be on the ground, or against sombra like in that game, she can simply hack you out of the air and your stuck with no cover.
      Another example is if the enemy is running full dive and hard focusing you, you’ll need to time your guardian angel perfectly to keep dodging them, so not wasting it by flying pointlessly in the air helps. Every GA used should have a purpose. Regardless you’ll always be a very easy target super jumping unless they have like phara/ junkrat, which can’t hit you very easily.
