  • Brendan goes up a remote river in Northern BC with Westcoast Fishing Adventures Ltd. The timing is perfect as they’re able to sight fish for Coho using jigs on spinning gear

Before I really got into salmon fishing, I'd fly to Terrace for work every few months. Watching this makes me wish I had been bitten by the Salmon fishing bug when work was paying for my flights/accommodation up there. Love the content and fantastic editing of these videos guys. So sick. It's truly amazing to see you all so stoked on every bite. Definitely in the cards to leave the Sea to Sky bubble for some Terrace salmon and steelhead fishing. "That's what it's all about."

I love the big water, if I can see fish I don't want to fish but that's just me. There is so much big water in Skeena country I'd never have that problem. Awesome vid, awesome Coho, awesome country.

That's awesome! Thank you for watching and please hit subscribe if you haven't yet to help support the show! Big water is amazing and while I agree with your point about the fun in not being able to see fish it was an incredible experience on this trip to sort of "peel back the curtain" and see what they were doing. Often in rivers you have no idea if you're casting to fish so to see them all together and see how often they chase the jig and then turn away and just watch it all play out was awesome. It was like getting a behind the scenes look at your favorite movie. Glad you enjoyed the show!

@@ReelWestCoast Definitely giving you a sub. I own a nicely maintain 40' wooden salmon troller 'Raven' and have chartered out of Sooke for over 40 years. I think someone showed me a vid of a 50 lb Spring you caught on a spoon and released in Bamfield this summer. I'm pretty sure we have some mutual acquaintances, we were talking about going to Tofino to fish in the Tuna derby last September but never made it up there. If you ever want to do some Sooke content, I'm your guy. It's non-retention until August 1st but May, June and July are excellent and there is nobody on the water. I spent all summer fishing spoons at the Trap Shack, had a pretty good season but nothing over 40 lb this year. Cheers.

your premiere just told me that my Fishing/Tourist Dollars are no longer welcome in Canada. What a shame, I used to love fishing the Skeena/Kitimat/Fraser and out on Vancouver Island. Well, I'm grateful that I was at least able to see Canada while it was still a free country.

Thanks for watching. It was right around the 2nd week of October. It was chilly for sure, but it wasn't too bad. Terrace is worth the trip if you're ever able to make it. Easily one of our favorite spots!
