Enjoyed watching your videos of coho fishing on the Kitimat River. I've been lucky enough to fish the Kitimat since 1978. Has always been an amazing coho river. This spot is still a great place to float roe and beads. It's changed, though. Half the river now flows into the sidechannel on the left. Looking forward to coho beginning soon!

Thank you so much! It's pretty cool to share our experiences living an out-of-the-ordinary lifestyle. It definitely has its challenges as well, but the benefits are worth it!

Great! I thought it was too early for Coho this year, but I found out that the video was shot in the fall of 2021. Congratulations! :)

Looks just about as busy as the Vedder too. Would be nice to fish there.

It's definitely not as busy as the Vedder! Thankfully.

@@AdventuresomeOtters thanks man appreciate it. Any specific hooks I should be throwing.

@mikewilliams2518 For size, we use 1/0 or 2/0, and be sure to use barbless hooks as per the regulations. You're going at a good time to catch Chinook salmon, and you may also get pinks. Check out Bradley's Bait and Tackle in Kitimat. They can show you the best tackle to use, and you can find our Mustelid Tackle floats and spoons there, too!

Haha! We had broken our net on a fish in a previous fishing sesh. Don't worry though, we have replaced it!
