This game is finally finished, after 5 years of development. Big props to Noah for finishing it, most indie devs would leave their fan-games rot while stuck at a simple small demo
I like the fact that you don't have to collect the Chaos Emeralds as Knuckles, since it's all left to Sonic and Tails. Those special stage rings are instead replaced with rings that are placed in a form of big rings.
@@ajgrier8189 but mania is basically a separate timeline/universe now with classic and modern being separated. What I've seen is that classic sonic originally was from the past, but the events of the time eater somehow changed that. So basically sonic triple trouble does take place after sonic 3 as well as mania. It just that triple trouble happens in the modern timeline while sonic mania happens in the classic timeline (sorry for the paragraph and bad explaining lol, I was bored)
I like how boss Knuckles is disguised Metal Sonic and Knuckles don't get tricked like a fool by Eggman this time right after Sonic and Tails returned M.E. to him.

I'm amazed to see you return to this game for this next upload. What I noticed is that the story of this fan game changes depending on what character you use, which is something I've never seen on all the other fan games you've done a long play or walk through on. I don't know if anyone else agrees with this, but it's more enjoying to see you play as Knuckles than all the other characters, it's something I just realized. Thank you for uploading and returning as Knuckles 🔥💯

Also, can we talk about how Knuckles was the one who used the Master Emerald to send the Chaos Emeralds back into the special stage zones?! That was genuinely clever, and provided a strong reason for his involvement.
i love how fang/nack got betrayed by eggman and knuckles got betrayed as last story and even sonic got tricked by metal sonic but i honestly dunno why fang just runs
I hate water levels usually but they seem to have some of the best music in Sonic games. The Tidal Plant and Atomic Destroyer tracks sound amazing. So much attention to detail in this game.

Tidal Plant on the game gear sounds so freaking amazing, they did a good job, I like how they added some bass. But I think I prefer the GG version cause of nostalgia. Chaos and Triple Trouble both have such great 8 bit music, check that, all the 8 and 16 bit games do. Even Sonic 3D Blast has great music (especially on Saturn!)
This is so well made and I love it! Sonic's Story and Knuckles' as well makes sense. This is so much better than the GameGear version. I'd love to play this one day.
Man, I was thinking that Mecha Knuckles would've been the perfect doppelganger to explain Knuckles' antagonistic role in the story, but I see that Metal Sonic was in the original game so I understand why they retrofitted Metal's shape-shifting abilities for this game. (I still would have replaced Metal Sonic with Mecha Knuckles entirely though. Boss fight and all. It would just make this jam-packed cast and story a little less convoluted)

Nice work guys another completed game to add to the great Sonic fangame history. I've been waiting for GG/SMS remakes for a long time personally, it was obviously a good source of content when you wanted to look outside the 16bit games for inspiration. As an aside I wish we could take more from JSR/JSRF as a series and integrate it with Sonic. As it's basically a dead franchise, its Sega, and its very much 'cool'. JSRF particularly has some of the best vertical platforming and movement.

Kinda disappointed in Knuckles's final boss here just being a Nack Boss Rush. Like, yeah, it makes sense with it happening the same time as Sonic's story, but wouldn't it have been cool if Knuckles went Super instead of Sonic to take on Negative Super Rocket Metal?
I like to say all the time that the phantom Ruby has created this new reality for Sonic the hedgehog triple trouble. It was thought to be knuckles after the chaos emerald Sonic and tails. Then again, how come snuggles was locked up seemingly all that time? That makes so much sense what Noah Copeland did. For the simple fact, Metal Sonic k a i was near the end of the atomic destroyer.
Soooo in the atomic destoryer the forth one go left dont do the boss you will get transported to the end i dunno i just lost doing it i when backwards and i see myself at the end
This game honestly feels like the third half of sonic 3&K. Even with the few flaws I noticed while playing it (hard af comp mode, and really long scene of knuckles pushing metal sonic) this was still a great experience, especially with all the surprises/fanservice I got while playing it
@@EWOODJ Knuckles fights the exact same bosses that Sonic and Tails fight and Knuckles interacts with Eggman and Fang at the exact same time Sonic and Tails interacts with them and the game's story is that Eggman tricks Knuckles into helping him again by telling him that Sonic and Tails are planning to steal the emeralds and use them for evil stuff so canonically Knuckles is the one fighting Sonic and Tails and not Metal Sonic
@@gameomer1855 The developer of the fangame changed the story a bit to make Knuckles appear less dumb. Knuckles goes through each level before Sonic and Tails do. When he gets trapped at the end, there is a timejump to when Sonic and Tails save him.
Oh, shoot. I deleted the game right after finishing the main story, I thought there wasn't anything else to see. It's very nice to see how the game explains loose ends from the main story, such as the emeralds disappearing in the beginning of the game. Still, I think it creates more questions than answers. Why did Knuckles decide to separate the Chaos Emeralds if they were presumably in good hands? And in such a convenient time, too. There's no way Knuckles knew what was exactly happening, much less that the emeralds were all about to be collected by Robotnik. And why did Metal Sonic not finish off Knuckles then and there? He had Knux by the freaking neck, goddamn. Silly nitpicks aside, the game still rocks and was a blast to play.

So You need to go up there and then just fall down after touching the lamp post for the hidden Palace? Also, it makes sense now why Act 2 of Atomic Destroyer has the 'real final boss' I mean that shit was not easy to do at first. 1 stupid mistake... the act 3 is way easier for sonic/tails and especially easier for knuckles as well since his Act 3 ending is different.
