I love how they flesh out Shadow’s relationships with Maria and with the professor. It really helps viewers understand what a great makeshift family they had, which is why their deaths are so traumatizing to Shadow. The story also leaves him with Maria’s real sentiments, that Shadow help others find the light, give people a chance to find happiness, and to help his friends. Really cool that they took the teenage angst character and gave him a dynamic story and character arc without changing him by the end - that’s really hard to do with static characters who aren’t allowed to age or change significantly.
I like how they’ve started setting an actual storyline to the games now with frontiers and the new cutscenes for this game, cool to see them setting up a proper narrative.
The shift after Heroes was disappointing to me when I was younger, I'm still unsure if it is canon or what happened immediately after or if they didn't continue.

I love the new writing in the revamped Sonic Generations cutscenes,as a game meant to honor the history of the series it feels natural to have callbacks like the Time Stones and it feels nice to see Sonic actually remembering his first adventure,they somehow managed to make the game an even bigger love letter to the series.
SONIC MEETS THE TIME EATER: The blue hedgehog can save the yellow fox, the red echidna, the pink hedgehog, the black hedgehog, the white bat, the young rabbit, the physical-powered hedgehog, the flame-powered cat, the purple chameleon, the green crocodile and the little childish bee as well from the Time Eater.
I like the updated cutscenes. It makes the game feel less like a Marvel quip fest and more like an actual game. Don't get me wrong i did love some jokes but the game seems to take itself more seriously rather than just stupid jokes are one liners. But thats just my opinion and the fact people are lashings out at Ian Flynn isn't surprising. That's just the Sonic fandom for you. They did it in Frontiers and they'll do it here.
Still wish they could of added a voice dialogue for Classic Sonic. Also, this is crazy but, I had a dream about this game one night except it featured characters from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, where the main character is Twilight and she teams up with her younger unicorn self.

The blue hedgehog can save the yellow fox, the red echidna, the pink hedgehog, the black hedgehog, the white bat, the young rabbit, the physical-powered hedgehog, the flame-powered cat, the purple chameleon, the green crocodile and the little childish bee as well from the Time Eater.
I like the updated cutscenes. It makes the game feel less like a Marvel quip fest and more like an actual game. Don't get me wrong i did love some jokes but the game seems to take itself more seriously rather than just stupid jokes are one liners. But thats just my opinion and the fact people are lashings out at Ian Flynn isn't surprising. That's just the Sonic fandom for you. They did it in Frontiers and they'll do it here.
