After a screaming match with her grandmother, she ended up in the back of a sanctuary, hating everyone in the room. But what happened in that room is The Reason she is alive today.

I've never been a person of faith in fact I don't believe in god or any faith but Flyleaf's music has really helped me deal with incredibly hard times in my life rehab the loss of my mother i if I get down I can always put on Flyleaf - feel better I'll always be grateful for accidentally finding this band

lacey sturm you are an amazing person and your songs touched me and your testimoney really reached me i once tried to commit suicide and god helped save me from myself but i was afraid to reach out for him and you helped me get saved with your songs and i cant thank you enough i wish we could have met once so i could have told you thank you for helping me see the light god bless you

Lacey is an amazing inspiration to many. she has opened up doors in my heart that I thought would never open again after the death of my daughter. I am still fighting taking my own life. But know now it is not the answer. And it is totally the cowards way out. Thank you Lacey

Every time she opens her mouth she makes me cry.
Although... if you have a talent it's not only giving it up to the invisible man in the skies. My fav bands are normally attacking the systems of our social world and also dedicating they talent to express their feelings but this is just my point of view, someone that has no religion and doesn't go to church.
