- Got hit with the first big snow storm of the year and we were lucky enough to be out camping in our hot tent! We cooked a delicious bolognese sauce on the wood stove with moose harvested just around the corner from where we live. Great first taste of winter.

We made all this progress and reached a point where we built a platform where we have people living like they are in the 1900s and we sit in our modern homes watching them! Amazing 👏
The amazing thing is that they need to pretend they likd it so that they take a like. Who knows if these guys have a home nearby? Like these guys who said they slept in Target and then they left 3am and got back in the morning to film.

Joelle is a taste cook, love Chester, I have 2 black labs ,both rescued, I am old so trained them to pull my 2 wheel cart and help pull me up from chair , they get all excited helping me. happy thanksgiving today,

Great video thank you, I had a German sheppard who got bloat and we had to have her put down, we learnt from a vet in Australia to slow down their eating which you are doing but to also raise their food off the ground if that can be of any extra help, our fur babies are such a big part of our lives..

A great trick I learned when prepping onions is to breathe only through your mouth while cutting them. Helps tremendously to cut back on-if not completely eliminate-the tears.

Always look forward to your videos guys, especially the ones with Chester. As you mentioned, bloat is a very serious condition ( can be fatal ) in deep chested dog breeds, and using one of those slow feeders is a great idea, as well as a couple of smaller meals a day instead of one full size one.
We’ve had Labs and now currently Rhodesian Ridgebacks and our golden rule is never energetic exercise an hour before or after a meal….has held us in good stead over the years in reducing the possibility of bloat

Nice stuff, guys! A couple of things: if you have a particularly nasty onion, try chewing gum while you chop it. But you did a great job with the lap-mounted cutting board, Joelle! You're right about the bloat, Adam - we lost our Weimaraner to that some years ago. So, slow 'er down, Chester! What a sweetie he is!

Hi! If you place your onion in the freezer (or in the snow when camping) you wont be bothered by the toxins that make your eyes tear up since those are capsuled in by the cold. This is not a 100% secure way, sometimes the onion heats up by your hands, sometimes its not frozen enough etc etc. But it is a really easy way to minimize the toxins that are released.

O yeah making epic memories
during hunting season, you should wear orange too the dog does too, but people should too it's so other hunters don't mistake you for game, most hunters are better than that, but it's for your own safety most states highly suggest it and some have laws about it ,you should hunt for sure with big game in and around you its excellent source of food
