Working on jaw strength and stability with the Y-Chew

  • See his jaw moving to the side when he bites? That slide is causing a lateral lisp, and so we're using the Y-Chew to strengthen and stabilize his jaw. Practice biting and holding on the extension of this chew tool for 5 seconds at a time, watching for good positioning and control. Put your hand under the chin for support if necessary.
