such an excellent video! When the first Star Fox came out I was a huge Nintendo fan and that game really captured the mix of simple arcade action with flight sim mechanics which I loved. Its still my favorite in the series. And even as someone who never liked the N64 much, StarFox 64 was easily one of the best releases on the system, and I now play it on 3DS. I would love a modern sequel to star fox that keeps the old flat shaded polygon look but really build up the details of world around it to fly around in. There is so much painstaking detail in the slick edits and information, this is a grand slam!
Ayyyy, really appreciate dez!! I remember playing the SNES demo over and over at the department store while my mom shopped. I was so bad at it (and still suck pretty bad haha). I played SF64 at my buddy’s house since I never had an N64 but didn’t really get to go all the way through it until the very excellent 3DS version. I also really need to sit down and play the new EX ROM hack that just released. Thanks for watching dude!!
I remember running the Star Fox promotion game for the SNES when it came out. it had a custom cartridge that would let you play about 3 minutes of the game and the person with the highest score at the end won a bunch of star fox merch.
Nice, the competition definitely got a ton of promotion behind it in multiple countries. The Canadian winner actually commented on the post in here somewhere, haha.
I played HOURS upon HOURS of Starfox 64 as a kid, and I tried last year but the inverted controls don’t mesh with me at all anymore - I don’t know how I beat it so much! But I’ve never played any of the others and had NO idea of the history behind the SNES version. This is so fascinating and I can’t wait for part 2!
Ayyy, thanks Zelda, glad you enjoyed it!! I actually played through Star Fox 64 3D on the 3DS while I was working on this video and the added accelerometer motion controls really add a lot and make it much easier to aim. Worth giving it a shot if you ever get another hankering to play. Thanks again for watching!!
@@RewindArcade I'm seeing a longplay... I always wondered what the rest of the Lylat System looked like, and it turns out another discovery for me: medium and hard routes... My is mind blown off...
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it! We just wrapped up the script for part 2 this week and I can say that I think it’s even better than part 1. What’s your favorite game in the series?
@@RewindArcade Star Fox 64 has always been my favorite, but honestly I love all the games in the series....except Zero, I just really hope Nintendo is planning a Star Fox game for the Switch that's not another remake of Star Fox 64
What a great watch. I'm glad this channel popped up in my recommendation list. I'm definitely subscribing to watch the other videos, and can't wait to watch the Bionic Commando one.
Holy cow, what a great documentary! You guys covered a ton of fascinating details about the history of StarFox that I never knew about and I’m super looking forward to Part 2. I love the first two StarFox games (and the DS game) but the series really lost its way after StarFox 64. I can’t wait to hear what kind of dirt you guys dug up (and there’s a lot of it, I imagine 😏). Again … excellent, EXCELLENT production. Well worth the wait.
Thanks man!! Things definitely go a bit “off the rails” after 64, but it also makes for an incredibly interesting story seeing how and why it all happened. I think the second part will have even more interesting facts than the first. Appreciate the kind words as always my friend and look forward to your next video too!
So glad you dig it. Yeah, both halves contain facts and little stories we found that completely blew my mind. I won't give anything away, but the things we learned about Star Fox Adventures and Star Fox Zero have me pretty excited.
Wooohooooo! Another great video my friend. I’m always pumped when I see you release a new one. Keep up the great work. Though, only I have the brains to rule Lylat!
A really great insight and some fascinating facts shared about the development of Starfox. Seems like Jez San was everywhere back in the 90s and this doc really explains how it all come about. I liked the original but it was SF64 that got most of my time as I got the Japanese version on release. Really looking forward to part 2 with Assualt and Zero covered which I really like!! Great job guys 👏👏
Thanks Arron!! Definitely a really fascinating story (especially in the next part!) with a lot of firsts for many many companies. SF64 is probably the pinnacle of the series I’d say. The 3DS version is a lot of fun with its accelerometer controls too. Thanks for watching man!
Man..... Nintendo were such a different creator back then. Exciting, arcade influenced, magical... I don't get any of that feeling from their stuff these days..... Feels bad
So many details, so much animation, so many knowledge in this video. WOW just WOW. Great work, youre video should have millions of views and I wish it. Didn't play starfox back in the day, but quality deserves appreciation !

One of my earliest memories in gaming was playing the OG Starfox in a demo console at a Target. Never got a cart of my own, but I played the hell out of SF64.
So funny you say that because I had a similar experience, haha. I used to go with my mom to a department store when I was a kid and would play the Star Fox demo in the Electronics section over and over again while she shopped. Never owned the actual game until way later in life, but I played the hell out of the demo a gazillion times. 😂
Excellent documentary! One minor timeline correction - 06:43 Battlezone was released to arcades in 1980, but the home port for VCS didn't come out until 1983.
Thank you!! And you're absolutely right about Battlezone on the VCS. I'll make a correction in the video description and give you credit!. Appreciate the info! 👍
@@RewindArcade no worries, a very minor detail, it's a great piece of historical work you have created here with fantastic attention to detail. I've always maintained Battlezone is an incredible feat of 3D game design and arcade-to-home porting for the VCS in achieving a 360 degree playfield with horizontal DOF, and it rightly deserves a mention as an early example of sprite scaling that you have done such a great job with here.
Thanks again man! The VCS port of Battlezone is incredibly impressive and also very important to the history of video games as a whole. I’d love to do a video specifically about the Battlezone series someday.
It’s worth noting that the FX 2 chip isn’t “more powerful”. It can simply access higher address lines, vs the 1MB limit that the FX 1 can. Also, SF2 is only 1MB, and thus doesn’t even require the FX 2 processor.
Fantastic documentary. Love your attention to detail, it's really a pleasure to watch. As a kid, I was able to see Starfox on Super Nintendo at my CCD(Christian Youth Education) teacher's house. It totally blew my mind. Way ahead of it's time.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it! Really cool that you remember exactly where you first saw it. My earliest memories of it were playing the SNES demo of it over and over in a department store while my mom shopped. Definitely an impressive game for its time!
Wow this is great, I've never even heard of any of this before. Kudos! You'd think a western team of teenagers working with R&D1 would have been more widely known.
Thanks, happy you enjoyed it! It’s a really interesting story! A similar scenario actually happens again in the second part of this video series which should be out in another month or two. 👍
As a kid I always thought the Starfox team represented different countries, like fox is English, slippy french, falco russian, peppy German and general pepper American.
loved playing snes star fox back then(remember enjoying the bright art style of corneria/the space ocean & really love the lore of the original snes games with how it explained the planets and how dark parts of it were like what andross did to them.) & really love the style of 2 destroying andross's bases while heading to astropolis defending corneria.(would love to see a new game combine it with assault's gameplay improved.:3)
Was looking forward to this and you delivered. Great video and learning tid bits far deeper than some "history of" put in is great. I know SF64 was a lot of people's first or favorite but for me, SF1&2 are still my favorites to play this day. Looking forward to part 2!
Thanks a ton, glad you enjoyed it! My nostalgia lies most with the first game mainly due to the memories I have of playing the demo over and over in a department store when I was really young. Part 2 of this video series may be even more interesting than this chapter due to how crazy some of the development decisions were. Thanks again for watching!
Wow, this was a really nice deep dive! To think people so young could drive such a huge path for the future of 3D gaming! And honestly I don't think I knew that losing members effected the gameplay of 64. I do think they made good call not having the Arwing transform into a "Gundam" ;) Great work man!
Thanks dude, appreciate it! It’s a really wild story! The next part will have some crazy and interesting stories too. Definitely agree that the transforming humanoid Arwing would have been a bad idea too, haha. Thanks again for watching!
seeing this video come out this week is such a major coincidence for me for 2 reasons. (1) - I was extremely excited with the recently released fan made rom hack of StarFox EX Exploration Showcase which blew me away. not only due to the new content that they were able to generate, but for the technological improvements that makes it look like a lot of fun playing. the only problem is that I need to get an FXPak Pro in order for me to play it properly on an actual SNES console, until the day someone finally decides to release it as a reproduction cart. still, it is very impressive and it's far more effort in keeping StarFox alive than Nintendo as of late. & (2) - I'm going to be getting a 2nd custom made statue of Fox McCloud from the SNES version from a seller who made me a statue many years ago that had to be fixed earlier this year. she will be using the same exact mold but will be giving it a different paint scheme that's closer to the actual puppet that they've used in the advertising. I'll definitely plan to do a comparison video on my channel whenever I finally obtain the 2nd statue in hand. based on her profile, the seller whose making me the 2nd Fox McCloud statue went to the Stan Winston School Of Character Arts. so, as you can see, my hype for StarFox has been pretty high as of late due to so much going on in such a small period of time. ^-^
I still can’t believe that we ended up launching the video just a day or two after kandowontu’s Star Fox EX. It was pure coincidence, haha! Such an amazing ROM hack (and so much more)! Would love to see photos of your statue if you ever feel like sharing. Sounds really cool!
@@RewindArcade yeah, that was a rather impressive fan made game. it makes me actually want to invest money into getting an FXPak pro just to play it. it really does feel like the StarFox 3 we never got. I will definitely keep you informed whenever I manage to get the comparison video out. I still have the 1st statue on my shelf, but I try to take extreme care with it since it had to be fixed directly by the seller earlier. it will definitely take a while since I have yet to send the seller payment, which I promised would be near the end of this month. but, we have been in talks and she is willing to make me a 2nd statue with the different paint scheme in mind. I had to dig up a lot of reference photos of the actual physical puppet which is the desired intentions for the 2nd statue. afterwards, the next custom made item I have my eyes on will definitely be the SNES Arwing itself, which I've desired for such a long time. the original SNES StarFox is still my most favorite game of all time. the fact that this game is still cherished after all these years is a testament to how timeless that original game has become. ^-^
@@RewindArcade I actually have the final beta version of StarFox 2 as a repro cart with a custom label (which I've edited myself and sent to a seller as a request), which I plan to get the final released version also as a repro cart with a more refined custom label. I love StarFox 2 quite a lot, far more than Star Fox 64 to be honest, I still prefer the original SNES game the most. while I still like SF64 quite a lot, I prefer the more sci-fi heavy tone & style of the original SNES game plus the music has never been as good. I also blame SF64 for the series not being able to move past that art style and the comedic tone that would affect some of the later game's quality. the original has a lot of charm and simplicity to it that I think has help up better compared to the original, plus those realistic puppets that they've used just screams Jim Hensen. I still think that a Jim Hensen style StarFox film would of been awesome, especially if they used both puppetry & model ships similar to Star Wars. thanks to films such as The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, and the original 2 TMNT films, using puppetry for story telling has been proven successful. thanks to TV shows such as The Dark Crystal: Age Of Resistance, I honestly think that it would be far more impressive to make a StarFox film in that art style rather than CGI which has been done to death.
Yeah, I thought SF Zero was pretty fun at times even with the awkward controls, but I agree that there was definitely a really great game underneath the Wii U gamepad mess. We talk a lot about SFZ in the next part of the video series. Maybe we’ll get a port next year for the series’ 30th anniversary.
The multiplayer mode was maybe not the best example for the 10% of new content for Starfox 64 as Starfox 2 did at one point have an implemented multiplayer mode that was scrapped from later versions.
@@lifebeginsat8bit Not much to point. At least two versions of Starfox 2 leaked in different states of completion. The earlier one had that mode implemented while it wa already gone in the second version. So if you can still find that rom you will find the Starfox 2 multiplayer
you know, it would of been really cool to see Nintendo make an on rails shooter arcade game based on the SNES StarFox. especially if they had a custom built arcade cabinet similar to Act Raiser but in the style of an Arwing cockpit, the sound quality of Killer Instinct, and the smooth controls & graphics similar to StarBlade.
@@RewindArcade awesome. I can't wait to see it. I was aware of Star Fox Armada when they were working on Assault, which was around the same exact time that Joy Ride Studios was origtinally going to release their Star Fox Adventures action figure, which sadly never happened. Hell, I still think a StarFox arcade game can work extremely well now a days with the proper team involved. Raw Thrills has definitely managed to keep the arcade alive with games based on movie properties, and if they went with a more classic approach utilizing the SNES art style, I think this would of been such a strong way to bring back StarFox with a proper 3rd game. plus, it would of been a great talking point among gamers to see this series get a revival in the most bad ass way possible.
@@RewindArcade that's true. they also had an arcade machine of Mario Kart 8 not too long ago as well. so, it's not that farfetched of an idea if you ask me to premier Star Fox 3 as an arcade game which could potentially be ported to the Switch. hell, if the arcade games had SD memory card support, theoretically you could unlock stuff from the arcade game and from the console port. it would be a fun way to incorporate the old with the new in a way that we haven't seen since the 90's.
Though there are some high schools in the UK, they're quite rare so I did a little research: Even Wikipedia says Jez San quite High School. It's wrong though. The school he was at calls itself a comprehensive school. That can be confirmed by their age range - taking pupils from age 11.
Hmm i was there at the time. Super Marioworld wasn't really seen as a graphical powerhouse. In fact I remember it was almost the opposite, it was seen as surprisingly simple by many, but obviously gameplay made it supreme. But graphical powerhouse? Respectfully, no, it really wasn't recieved that way at the time :)
@@hectormg9617 If you dig Gundam, 0083 is such a great one. I also recommend Mobile Suit Gundam: Thunderbolt and Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team. Both classics as far as I'm concerned.
I believe there were roughly 8 or 9 Super FX games released total including Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Doom, but yeah, it certainly was a pretty expensive endeavor for only a handful of games. 😅
I mainly say “fah-mee-com” since that’s how it’s pronounced in Japanese. I think it’s commonly accepted to say “fam-ih-com” in English since it stands for “Family Computer”. 👍
"V" is pronounced "F" in Germany. So it's "StarFox", not "StarVox" like you say it, which is why "StarFox" couldn't be used by Nintendo, not just they were "similar", it's literally the same wording.
Why is whenever someone shows a quick clip of DOOM on SNES ,it's always from a crappy emulator that doesn't do justice to the FX chip? Those white dots all over the screen wasn't in the real cartridge. I mean granted the game had a lot of limitations, don't get me wrong. But it doesn't give proper justice for what was achieved.
Hey Deadbeef! Love the name. Actually, this documentary starts prior to the first game's release in 1993. There's a lot of history leading up to the game that starts in 1982.
You forgot about one game star fox adventure on the game cube in 2002 it might not be a flying game but it’s a very good game can’t avoid it just because it’s not flying all the time
Years and years worth of videos full of creators saying "press the red button" to subscribe only for youtube to change the color of the button to black. lol it's a small detail but it directly affects so much content with no clear benefit for doing so.
Crazy right?? He’s been referred to as a falcon in some official media I believe, but he was created as a pheasant. They talk about it a bit in this “Iwata Asks” interview if you want to check it out: archive.ph/20120709152827/iwataasks.nintendo.com/interviews/%23/3ds/starfox/0/2
Yep! Pheasants and hares play a large role in Japanese mythology, apparently. Pure speculation here, but Imamura had created Captain Falcon at that point. Maybe the name and colors are a reference to Captain Falcon? Somebody get Imamura on the phone!
Sadly Star fox is know dead died after spin of game battle for atlas and it’s one pityful dlc came out star fox as stand alone an indepdent franchise was dead. Is on life support that being super smash brothers but if smash ever ends Star fox will be official legally dead. I don’t think it has enough love to risk the wrath of nintendo if any fan games were to be tempted at all. Which is never going to happen ever. 😰
@@RewindArcade Just by looking at the title, I say this based on retailing dates for the original games. The original star fox retailed in 1993 and the most recent star fox game on the wii U retailed way after 1997. If my original comment came off a bit harsh I apoligize
@@maxrichards5925 No worries, haha. Our reasoning was that Star Fox itself released in 1993, but it's history starts even before that with the time it was in development in the early 90s and Argonaut Software, the UK company that assisted with Star Fox's creation and inventor of the Super FX chip, experimenting with 3D graphics throughout the 80s. The original dates for the video were 1993-1997, but we didn't quite feel that was right since almost half of the video takes place in the 80s to early 90s.
Oh boy! I didn't know there was a submarine in the N64 game... I have to revisit one of my favorites...
There’s always a good reason to go back and play Star Fox 64, haha!

Nice! It’s the 30th anniversary next year so hopefully we’ll see something new.

What a great watch. I'm glad this channel popped up in my recommendation list. I'm definitely subscribing to watch the other videos, and can't wait to watch the Bionic Commando one.
Thanks man, appreciate really appreciate it!! I am a diehard Bionic Commando fan so I had a lot of fun making that video.
So in-depth, and awesome editing! This totally deserves more views!
Thanks Brian, really appreciate that!
The games sucked.
This is so incredibly well put together dude, amazing job.
Thanks a ton, appreciate it!!
Awesome piece of work!! Congratulations for the hard work! Can't wait for more!
Thanks man, appreciate it! Part 2 will be really interesting too!
Wooohooooo! Another great video my friend. I’m always pumped when I see you release a new one. Keep up the great work. Though, only I have the brains to rule Lylat!
Ayyyy, thanks Eric, appreciate the kind words my man! So Andross, you show your true form! 😂
It's foolish to come against me!
Feels bad
Great documentary and great coverage there was a lot of information I didn't know in here!!
Thanks so much! It’s pretty loaded with a lot of info we had ever heard of.

@@RewindArcade exactly. repeatedly played that until the Corneria theme was burned into my brain permanently for it.
This channel is criminally underrated. Awesome documentary that kept me engaged the entire time. I can't wait to see the second part of this.
That’s awesome to hear! Thanks so much for the kind words and hope you enjoy the second part as much as the first.

Awesome! Thanks so much for watching and appreciate the share!
As a kid I always thought the Starfox team represented different countries, like fox is English, slippy french, falco russian, peppy German and general pepper American.
Oh wild! I really like that notion. I feel like a lot of games were doing that at the time, particularly fighting games like Street Fighter.
That’s really interesting! I always thought Slippy seemed French too strangely. 😅
loved playing snes star fox back then(remember enjoying the bright art style of corneria/the space ocean & really love the lore of the original snes games with how it explained the planets and how dark parts of it were like what andross did to them.) & really love the style of 2 destroying andross's bases while heading to astropolis defending corneria.(would love to see a new game combine it with assault's gameplay improved.:3)
Love this documentary! Took me back to some of the Star Fox glory days ⭐️🦊
Awesome, really appreciate it man!!
Thanks again for watching!
heeeellll yeeeaaaahhhhhhhhh! that's how you start a Star Fox video
I tried to kick things off with a bang, haha!!
You got some great videos man
Thank you, much appreciated!!
Doing the Lord’s work
Thanks haha!
Yes, this is awesome!
Thank you!!
seeing this video come out this week is such a major coincidence for me for 2 reasons.
&
(2) - I'm going to be getting a 2nd custom made statue of Fox McCloud from the SNES version from a seller who made me a statue many years ago that had to be fixed earlier this year. she will be using the same exact mold but will be giving it a different paint scheme that's closer to the actual puppet that they've used in the advertising.
I’ve heard the FXPak Pro is pretty awesome. Looking forward to seeing the video! I think either Star Fox 64 or Star Fox 2 are my favorites.
They need to just remake or update star fox zero for the switch. Its a good game underneath odd controls.
@ChrisB Crisps I sure hope so! I look forward to watching more videos. You make some good content! I had no idea Shigeru Miyamoto smoked cigarettes.
Thanks! I learn a lot myself while putting these videos together. Also, I’m pretty sure a lot of people at Nintendo smoked during the 80s/90s.
I love these documentaries
Thank you!!
the soundtrack is still one of the best.. in 1993 it was lightyears ahead
The multiplayer mode was maybe not the best example for the 10% of new content for Starfox 64 as Starfox 2 did at one point have an implemented multiplayer mode that was scrapped from later versions.
I did read about the scrapped multiplayer mode. Can you point me in the direction of more information about it?
@@lifebeginsat8bit Not much to point. At least two versions of Starfox 2 leaked in different states of completion. The earlier one had that mode implemented while it wa already gone in the second version. So if you can still find that rom you will find the Starfox 2 multiplayer
I remember beating Starfox 2 in Under an hour.
It’s definitely VERY short if you know what you’re doing.
you know, it would of been really cool to see Nintendo make an on rails shooter arcade game based on the SNES StarFox. especially if they had a custom built arcade cabinet similar to Act Raiser but in the style of an Arwing cockpit, the sound quality of Killer Instinct, and the smooth controls & graphics similar to StarBlade.
We actually talk about the cancelled Star Fox arcade game briefly in the second part of this video series. It should be out in another month or two. 👍
@@EpicJasonX9000 Nintendo released a Luigi’s Mansion arcade machine so I’d say anything’s possible at this point haha. 😂
Today I learned Falco is a pheasant, and not, in fact, a falcon.
Edit: also, pretty sure Miyu is a lynx, not a "cat".
I was the super star fox weekend winner for a canadian tournament in 1993 called the super nintendo power play tour
Oh wow, that’s awesome!! What was the prize for the Canada contest? Was it similar to the ones for the US, the vacation trip or $15,000?
Man if you really want to make games it seems that nothing can stop you.
Yeah, you aren't lying, haha! Especially back then when game development was still very much like the wild west.
Though there are some high schools in the UK, they're quite rare so I did a little research:
Even Wikipedia says Jez San quite High School. It's wrong though. The school he was at calls itself a comprehensive school. That can be confirmed by their age range - taking pupils from age 11.
Miyamoto was right. Making the main characters animals made us care more about them.
Could not agree more!
I want star fox adventures 2
Sadly I don’t think we’ll ever see it happen. You never know though!
Starfox. What a game. Genesis fanboys are still salty about it.
What's the anime at @25:33?
That's a clip is from Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Star Dust Memory, a really great OVA series.
@@lifebeginsat8bit Thanks a lot! It did look really cool haha. Is there any other anime you could recommend?

Do Not Forget About StarFox On The Nintendo Game Cube And On Nintendo DS..
Certainly not, they’ll both be covered in the second part of the documentary series, releasing in another month or two. 👍
Thanks
Wait so instead of the chip I the system they made the same chip for 3 games .-. So that sounds like it would cost almost 3x as much
I believe there were roughly 8 or 9 Super FX games released total including Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Doom, but yeah, it certainly was a pretty expensive endeavor for only a handful of games. 😅
Woooow, hacking a retail Gameboy to build a dev kit to make a 3D engine for it...if that isn't madlad behavior, I don't know what is
And at the young age of 18 no less which makes it extra crazy!
@@RewindArcade maybe you need that sense of invincibility of being 18 so you never even consider that it might be impossible haha
Y’know, that’s a actually very good point haha! 😂
Woah, Never knew it was actually pronounced fommicom
I mainly say “fah-mee-com” since that’s how it’s pronounced in Japanese. I think it’s commonly accepted to say “fam-ih-com” in English since it stands for “Family Computer”. 👍
"V" is pronounced "F" in Germany. So it's "StarFox", not "StarVox" like you say it, which is why "StarFox" couldn't be used by Nintendo, not just they were "similar", it's literally the same wording.
Ahhh, interesting! Thank you for the clarification. Will add this to the video description! 👍
What happend in 1982? is that a typo in the title?
Hey Deadbeef! Love the name. Actually, this documentary starts prior to the first game's release in 1993. There's a lot of history leading up to the game that starts in 1982.
@@lifebeginsat8bit i havent watched the video yet, so its probably addressed in it, but i didnt have time to watch it yet.
You forgot about one game star fox adventure on the game cube in 2002 it might not be a flying game but it’s a very good game can’t avoid it just because it’s not flying all the time
This is only the first part of the video series. Star Fox Adventures will be covered in the second video which will be out in another month or two. 👍
What I learned from this story is that Miyamoto is a furry.
That’s certainly… a possibility. 😅
Years and years worth of videos full of creators saying "press the red button" to subscribe only for youtube to change the color of the button to black. lol it's a small detail but it directly affects so much content with no clear benefit for doing so.
Why does the title say 1982 instead of 1992?
Because that’s when Argonaut, the studio that co-developed Star Fox, was founded and it’s where the story of the series really begins in this video.
@@RewindArcade I see.
Wasn't Falco a Falcon? A Pheasant? Really?
Crazy right?? He’s been referred to as a falcon in some official media I believe, but he was created as a pheasant.
They talk about it a bit in this “Iwata Asks” interview if you want to check it out:
archive.ph/20120709152827/iwataasks.nintendo.com/interviews/%23/3ds/starfox/0/2
Yep! Pheasants and hares play a large role in Japanese mythology, apparently. Pure speculation here, but Imamura had created Captain Falcon at that point. Maybe the name and colors are a reference to Captain Falcon? Somebody get Imamura on the phone!
😎
The appeal of Star Fox was it looked more realistic at the time, but the game sucked. I never played it that long.
Man the dates for the title of this video are just awful
Why do you say that out of sheer curiosity?
I do understand what you're saying though. 👍
@@RewindArcade Appreciate the feedback, Max! Also worth mentioning that this is only the first half of a two-part documentary. The second half chronicles Star Fox Adventures through Star Fox Zero and even carves some time out for Starlink: Battle For Atlas, which involved Star Fox extensively.
@@RewindArcade Oh ok that's understandable. It's cool that you went out of your way to talk about the early history of the Super FX chip as well.
