Well hello there Debs 😁👋. Thank you for your lovely comments as always. Pete is well chuffed you liked his voice over😊. First one we have tried on the channel, but it has had some good feedback so we will give some more a go in future👍. Pete also says cheers Phil for noticing the drone rocket through the trees, that was a scary moment🤣🙈. We are having lots of fun with the drone now though. This really was such a lovely part of Scotland, it is so quiet with some lovely walking, we could see ourselves living in a little village like brydekirk one day😊🤞. Happy Friday to you, hope you have a fabulous weekend, big hugs, Shell and Pete

Hi and thanks, O.B's Outdoors for sharing. Indeed, it is a rural area and peaceful to hike. Wow, they are quite muscular and adorable at the same time@2:06. Unbelievable to see those trees fall from the roots@4:28. This is very aged and weathered, yet well-maintained castle@6:39. Could you go inside the watch tower? Am I dreaming or what? These are massive roots@14:18!!! Yes, antlers will be degraded and feed soil....The drone footage is wonderful. Well done and keep coming. 🙋‍♀🛶

Hi there, it was indeed a very peaceful and quiet area to hike. We would like to live somewhere like this one day! We couldn't go inside the watch tower unfortunately as the door was locked, presumably to protect it from vandals. The view from the top would have been impressive!😊🤩. Thanks so much for watching and for your lovely comments, we really do appreciate it. ATB Shell and Pete

We had a wonderful time in Annandale, it was such a pretty place and this walk really impressed us with how much there was to see along the way. Who doesn't love to hug a tree🥰🌳🌲. It was sad to see so many veteran trees down from the storm, nature can certainly cause havoc sometimes. So pleased you are liking the drone footage, we had so much of it from this trip we made a separate short drone only video, our first😊👍. Baaaaaaa! 🐑 good morning Shell and Pete, we are back and ready to enjoy your latest adventure 😀 happy Friday to you both amd any woodpeckers watching!
What a fabulous walk in up to Woody, Kat and I were talking about bluebells yesterday, we must have been the only people in the UK that didn't see many lol! 😀
Love walking along rivers, being near water is something I find so relaxing 😌
Loves teh sculpture and first sights of the castle! 🏰 such a magnificent setting and grounds, wow! The caravan was a nice touch lol the drone offered a great view 👌
Repentance tower, again spectacular and somewhere we had not heard of or seen before, fab exploring guys 🧭🗺👍❤️
What a great look out, love that then they had towers, nit we have drones and UAVs! Nice voice over Pete, good information l, sad about the hostages 😔

Think this was the most bluebells we have ever seen in one place, perhaps we got yours and Kat's share this year😳🙈😁. This walk was super relaxing, you are spot on Ceri, definitely something special about being close to the water. As much as we love the drama of the mountains, it was just as nice to have the whole day exploring different areas of woodland and visiting lots of different places along the way. Pete is loving the drone now as you can probably tell in this video!😊🙌. We thought we would give a voice over a go on this one to recount the tale of repentance tower, as we do not have anything like Kat's talent and ability to retain so many facts all at once!😁🙈. So glad you liked it😊👊. Hope you guys are well, and have a fabulous sunny weekend, take care, Shell and Pete

Hi Alan, hope you are enjoying the heat wave and managing to stay cool 😎. This was such a lovely walk, and the area was so quiet and peaceful, just the way we like it🥰👍. The salmon pole was very impressive. It is placed at a spot on the river where you can watch the salmon jumping out of the water on their journey upstream to spawn at certain times of year, and you can walk up a little ways to their spawning ground, one we have saved for another trip😊👍. Lovely welcome to your walk by that vocal sheep! Enjoying seeing the bluebells again so late in the year, its reminding me of cooler, more refreshing days before the onslaught of the heatwave! Ooo, a woodpecker. They always halt us in our tracks, can waste away a good hour or more trying to narrow down the noise and spot one! Very lovely ambient sounds, the river and bird chatter, could be on the walk with you! Gosh Hoddom Castle still looks like a very impressive sight! Shame its been closed off, but you did it great justice with the drone! Great hike up to the Tower and those views are really inspiring! Wow the sun comes out and Shell finds a deer antler, what a really cool find! Great keepsake of your trip! Tata for now! Have a great weekend! 👍

Well hello William and Jena, thanks so much for taking the time to watch guys, we are so glad you enjoyed the video😊. There is a story about the salmon pole, it was made to mimic the journey each salmon makes upstream to get to the place it was spawned, so it can start the cycle all over again. It is a journey filled with danger of course, and the pole itself is erected right alongside the river, where in the summer you can watch the huge salmon jumping out of the water on their way upstream, amazing stuff🥰🐟. It is such a beautiful area, we loved our time exploring there. Hope you guys are well, and that you have a wonderful weekend. Take care, Shell and Pete

Been abit of a nightmare this last week, wales was amazing, then went camping in dorset,it was more like carry on camping,no internet,no tv signal,it was like going back to nature for a week.

Well we have missed you lots in YT land Debs!🥰. But it sounds like you have been on loads of adventures that you will hopefully share with us once you recover from your wanderings!😊. It's sometimes nice to just totally disconnect and get back to nature when you are away isn't it, big hugs, Shell and Pete
