@@rogergriffith286 Didn't realise Avril was going to add a comment. No, his name was Gavin Young and he died in 1671. He is our 10th great grandfather. His daughter Margaret married into the Carlyle family. Just to thank you for posting all these interesting videos about Ayrshire. During lockdown I have been watching them all and finding out so much about the county.
